This was our first visit and we loved everything. The food was delicious, our server was friendly and helpful and the view of the vineyard lovely. Had the special price fixe menu and thought it was good value. We will definitely return in the summer when the patio is open.

Ravine is ALWAYS amazing. Not just the food and wine, but the wait staff are always kind and knowledgeable (and fun)! The place is always packed, yet we've never waited for a table (although we always have res.) for even a minute! The best in NOTL.

We had a nice evening at Ravine. We’ve eaten at Ravine a number of times and it’s one of our favourites in NOTL. Even better is that they have a special running until Mother’s Day - 3 courses for $35. Definitely an awesome deal. I had short ribs which were quite good but very much enjoyed the beat salad. Didn’t really like the sticky toffee pudding but it was ok. Overall, we had a wonderful evening but because of a large group of ladies, the restaurant was louder than normal.

Food was excellent, waitresses were awesome. Only disappointments were long wait time even though we had a resv and the acoustics in the dining area are very loud.

Initially we didn't choose Ravine as the place for lunch at a winery, but since our initial choice wasn't opened yet, after seeing the good reviews on OpenTable and Tripadvisor we decided to give this a try. We weren't too sure what to expect first, but as soon as we stepped it, the atmosphere felt very cozy and organic, almost like eating at your own dining room. Our server (sorry but forgot her name already) was really friendly and she made sure we had a fantastic, relaxed and comfortable dining experience. Menu was based on seasonal ingredients, which was still the Winter menu at the time.

From starters like egg/bacon, goat cheese/beetroot salad, to entrees like trout, pork and braised beef, we enjoyed all dishes and how authentic they tasted without much added seasoning. Star dish was definitely their lime cheesecake, which was extremely delicious but nothing like we've tasted before. BIG PLUS: there were snow flurries that day, so it was extremely pleasing to watch the snow fall whilst eating in an area just like your dining room.

A very pleasant and leisurely lunch on a cool and wet day. The food and spices in each dish were very creative, we felt, and made interesting and unusual taste combinations. Delicious! Ravine's wine was also excellent, as expected.

We had the prefix lunch with the beer salad, duck and chocolate cake. Everything was outstanding. The wines are delicious and the property was beautiful and quaint. Probably our favorite stop in NOTL. Also really enjoyed the grocery store in the tasting room. This place is really unique and exceeded our expectations.

Last week, my husband and I returned to the Ravine Winery Restaurant to partake in their prix fix menu. The service was very prompt and pleasant. The food was beautifully presented and did not disappoint these taste buds. Seated at a table in between two other tables, we were overwhelmed with the loud voices at both tables on either side of us. We could not carry on a conversation at all. This was unfortunate as it definitely impacted our enjoyment of what should have been a lovely meal. I did mention the volume to our server. Thinking in future, they might quietly suggest to the loud patrons to lower their voices. That would have changed our whole experience.

We had a very nice dinner for our first time to the restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and knowledgable. It was a busy evening, we loved the mix of families, couples and adults. Our food was delicious, dessert was divine, the atmosphere and decor were beautiful. We enjoyed the lovely sunset overlooking the vineyards out the big windows on all sides. We will be back to sample the outdoor area and pizza oven! We are glad we had to postpone our February birthday celebrations to March so that daylight savings time afforded us a sunset seating. We recommend everyone to come here!

Ravine Vineyard is nestled within the beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake community. It has a rustic feel on the grounds, but once you enter the restaurant, you can instantly tell the vineyard charm does not take away from the elevated ambience indoors. Courteous, knowledgeable staff, clean aesthetics, with unique details like flowers in empty vineyard wine bottles, greet you. The views are amazing from the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall glass doors and windows. The menu has a variety of offerings for reasonable prices, given the area. Our server told us the specials and made excellent recommendations. Once the food arrived, the presentation was impeccable topped only by the taste of each course. I have been here in the past and each time I've ordered something different. I have never been disappointed. Check it out for yourself!

The Ravine Vineyard Winery Restaurant is incredible. The food is amazing and very well worth the value. If you go during the winter time, there is a 3-course meal for $35 (CAD). It will leave you feeling the best kind of full that there is. Absolutely delicious.

The noise level is perfect and the restaurant is beautiful. Definitely the best restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake, perhaps in the whole southeast Ontario region.

The service is amazing. The servers are incredibly friendly and the food is brought out relatively quickly. Sue is an amazing waitress! Keep up the great work!

Amazing food coupled with amazing service and gorgeous surroundings. I would recommend this excellent restaurant for business meals, couples, anyone celebrating a special occasion, really. It’s otherworldly. Try it. Be amazed.

Our table of 4 enjoyed the three course winter menu which was great value. Everyone rated their meal choices highly. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant has lovely views over the vineyard. Being a Monday night, it was not very busy so the room was quiet.

Ravine has a wonderful Fabulicious menu. The food was nicely flavoured and the presentation was excellent. It was, most assuredly, worth what I paid. Unfortunately they do not have dairy and gluten free options on the dessert menu, so although I tremendously enjoyed the starter and main course there wasn't really a dessert option that I was able to enjoy. The coffee and the latte were also off limits as there were no dairy free choices ie almond or coconut milk. That being said the starter was fantastic as was the main on both occasions I attended. The wait staff were also very attentive pleasant and efficient. Thanks for a fabulous meal.

My boyfriend and I came for a wine tasting and lunch before heading back to the States. We ended up doing the tasting, enjoying a three course lunch with a bottle of wine and brought a bottle home. Everything was spectacular and we were both very impressed. We would absolutely return again on or next Canada Trip.

I was ultimately very disappointed with my experience at Ravine. While I am a big fan of their wines and tasting room I was surprised by what felt like a lack of care and attention to almost every aspect of the restaurant. For a place that has a reputation of being romantic and charming, to not have candles on the table at dinner was a huge disservice. It actually served to make me want to eat and get out, rather than stay a while and enjoy my wine and my date. Then of course I thought, well don’t worry the food is sure to be redeeming of the dull ambiance but aside from a tasty cheese board (no mentioned of where the cheeses were made), it felt like I was transported back in time to some wacky Canadian grandmas kitchen, and not at all in a good way. Firstly we were disappointed by the fact that the burger and short rib we had seen online weren’t offered since they were only doing brunch... (it was a Sunday at 7:30pm and this was not explained online or at time of booking). I found pairings to be strange - take for instance 3 nacho chips with cheese melted on them to be paired with trout gravlax ... or the peanut crust (the menu read hazelnuts but I could have sworn it was peanuts) on the pork loin. The pacing of plates was off for ys too, waiting 10-15 mins between courses. We took our desert (chocolate peanut tart which was good) to go because I was feeling so saddened by the experience and just wanted to crawl into bed. Of course this tart came on a plate to our table after we had already paid and we proceeded to wait what seemed like an absurd amount of time for it to be placed in a box. Ultimately I was very surprised based on what I had heard of this restaurant from friends and the reviews. I would be hesitant to recommend this restaurant after my experience there.

Very disappointed. First the food - ladies ordered pork as their main course and it was inedible. Mostly fat and too tough to even cut through. Next, the service - ordered shared appetizers for the table. They arrived at the same time as the first course. Poor planning. Lastly the ambience - the new bar area made for a very loud evening. This used to be a go to dining experience. Emphasis on used to be.
