Great ambiance and safe set up at Ravine, large tent outside with appropriate space between each table. The service was very good and the food was excellent. We had a few pizzas and the cheese board. All very good.
Would like to see the pasta dish a little more plentiful.
Very Good but a a bit expensive. Ambience was good and service was excellent.
Enjoyed the meal and the covid precautions were good
Perfect location. Service was outstanding. Covid-19 protocols were strictly adhered to so it felt very safe. Food was good. Will certainly return to enjoy a different entree before the tent is closed.
Beautiful outdoor sitting area under very large tent. Surrounding scenery quite lovely. Enjoyed the live music. Service was excellent, as was the food. Will definitely return.
It was fun. Nice patio. Excellent service and music. Food was just good. I expected wat better. Was not cheap but only ok value. For the money spent there food should have been much better. Nice experience but not so sure of worth going back. Just ok. Nice place though. Wineyard tour was really good
We enjoyed a fantastic lunch overlooking the beautiful vineyard and listening to live music.
Always a treat to have lunch or dinner at Ravine. We will be back soon
good food in a pleasant, safe outdoor patio setting. highly recommended.
Lovely ambiance with live music. I had the grain bowl with poached salmon. Delicious!
The evening was exceptional! A warm greeting and we were led to an outdoor tasting table. The server was knowledgeable and very friendly. We bought some bottles to bring home. And then dinner under the marquis. The service was adapted for COVID yet still personal. The food was delicious. And we were fortunate to enjoy a wonderful musician for the evening who created the perfect ambience. Well done to the entire team! Can't wait to return.
Stopped by after a day of cycling in Niagara on the lake!
Good food, great patio with good service & entertainment!
Look forward to next time!
Small portions for the pasta dish.
Wine very good but overpriced
Very Expensive for what you got
We did not like eating in a tent on picnic tables...
They did a nice job with the tent outside and the live music was bonus. The food was clean and excellent portions for a health conscious person. Just enough for you to be full, but not overly. Service was prompt and friendly.
Excellente cuisine, très classique. Service impeccable et chaleureux.
Having been to Niagara thrice during the pandemic and thus having frequented many wineries in the region, Ravine was one of the best in terms of handling the new normal that COVID has brought our way. Spacious outdoor tent ensures physical distancing, industrial heater ensured we were nice and warm. Minimal handling by service staff, and amazing food! We had live acoustic guitar playing at brunch. Highly recommend!
Ordered the cheese board that arrived with 3 very small pieces of cheese and 6 crostini, asked for an addition to the pizza and was told “no”, asked for a coffee or tea was told “we don’t serve that out here”. It was a chilly night and what restaurant doesn’t offer coffee or tea with desert? I understand a limited menu, higher prices to make up for limited capacity, I’m even am ok with a luke warm pizza that arrives minutes after everyone else’s meal - its COVID. I get it. But being told outright “no” for a simple change and not offering coffee/tea is just not acceptable for a restaurant as premium as Ravine. What a disappointment.
Loved it! Service was top notch. Meals were delicious and fresh. Live music was great. Seats were all under a big tent, spaced out and overall just a wonderful experience.
Amazing atmosphere, great food and good wine.
definitely would recommend.
Love this place, they don’t miss a thing. Always taking care of the fine details.
Outdoor dining for lunch.... the menu is short but good. They make all the menu items very well. This is my 3rd time there and I have pretty much sampled the whole menu. The ingredients are fresh and portions are good. I recommend the pizza because I find it the best value. The cheese plate and charcuterie seem overpriced to me for the portion and I only ordered it once because of this. Burgers are also a big win. This is definitely a winery we will continue to visit because we also really like their "Sand and Gravel" wines.
Notwithstanding covid restrictions,
attention to aesthetic very disappointing! Tent grubby (like a beer tent at a county fair) no flowers or embellishments : very limited menu : avoid the very sparse cheese tray
Food menu disappointing. Food ok not more.
Wine not very good and very expensive
Will not recommend nor come back
Lovely ambience, the live music was a great addition and the location is beautiful. I only recommend that there are more food options and also more vegetarian options. Other than that it was lovely!
Decided to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary here on the advice of a few friends. Due to covid-19 we liked the idea of a wide open area. No fault to the vineyard it was windy making it quite chilly, but we came prepared. There was live music which was a nice added touch. The food was very good, a bit out of our price range but it was a special day for us so we splurged. We also did the 5 generation tour. It was a nice surprise when it was just the two us. The tour guide was very informative and engaging. The wine tasting choices were good. This was our first time and we enjoyed it very much.
A fine experience all round, given the restrictions necessitated by current Covid. Food was tasty, not a mean feat to keep vegetarian patrons like us happy. Loved the penne pasta, the grain bowl, & esp. the salad. Next time I'd skip the dessert which was mediocre. Server was on-the-ball. Thank you. We look forward to returning.
It was a very good experience over all. We sitting outside overlooking the vineyards listening to live music playing in the background. The service and food were very good. If you are looking for some very nice wine to drink this would be the right place. I will definitely be back.
Met a friend from Toronto for a socially distanced lunch on the patio at Ravine. There was a young man playing guitar in the background who really added to the ambience.
Our food was delicious and I really enjoyed my gluten free pizza of the day. Wines, as always, were great.
Beautiful view on a cool afternoon.
Would lightly recommend even with limited menu
Loved the ambience; musician was an extra bonus. Appreciate the server’s table.
Food was amazing, dining next to the vineyard added to the ambiance.
The food ,the wine and the service were great,i just thought there wasnt much ambiance under that noisy tent (the wind made it noisy and the picnic tables were scarce ...i know they are teying to make the best of Covid but i have been to other wineries where the patio atmosphere was lovelier...
I dont think i will go back during this pandemic..but will still buy the wine.!!
GIVEN THE OUTBREAK AND THE VIRUS WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT; FELT VERY SAFE ON THE PATIO AND FELT RELAXED. WOULD NOT EAT INSIDE BUT NOT RAVINE'S FAULT. THIS WAS ONLY OUR SECOND TRY AT A RESTAURANT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE LOCKDOWN AND THE OTHER WAS A PATIO ALSO. HOPEFULLY THE WEATHER HOLDS OUT INTO OCTOBER AS WE WOULD RETURN TO ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE AGAIN AT RAVINE. TO BE FAIR, RAVINE HAS BEEN FOR PAST SEVERAL YEARS A FAVOURITE GO TO FOR FINE DINING. COVID HAS CHANGED THE FREQUENCY FOR SURE.
Ravine is a go-to lunch spot every time we're here. The menu is creative and so well prepared. The staff is the best. The view and ambiance is incredible. The items in the general store are top-notch. A must visit.
Excellent food and fabulous tour of the property. Loved tasting the wine as you walk around the property.
We are from the area and this is our favourite restaurant to visit!
The ambience and the atmosphere is simply amazing. Best place to go for a weekend brunch or even dinner around sunset. The food is fantastic and every ingredient feels fresh and flavorful!
I just want to start by saying that ravine is one of our favourite spots in NOTL and we were very happy to be able to get a reso. My only disappointment was the menu choices . I understand the restaurant is closed and it’s the outdoor menu however I feel under the circumstances their could be more options to choose from. I do have to say the burger was incredible !!!!
Amazing experience. Food was awesome and wine was a great compliment.
To my surprise, my boyfriend proposed to me during our visit while walking through the vineyard. The staff were wonderful and even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne as thanks for visiting and to celebrate. This place will forever hold a place in my heart!! Thank you beyond words!
I will definitely go back. The staff was amazing and my guests loved it. Madeline was the best. My birthday celebration was so much fun and the food was excellent ! Thank you Ravine
Wonderful time and amazing food and wine. Love the Ravine Chardonnay
