Ravello by Toscano
Ravello is always our first choice for a delicious meal. They are always sure to have some unique specials that taste outstanding. We try to go with a group so that we can get a get a few of their appetizers, like the short rib egg rolls and their meatballs. We've never had a bad meal there.
Never disapoints....brought some friends from out of town and they thought I over talked this restaurant and it was a foodie experience....the meatballs and chopped antipasta you can not miss , we had a burrata appetizer for which there are no words....bacon cheddar mashed potatoes and what they do to a steak....so good...I could go on and on....Enjoy....great value...think ahead and make reservations...there is a reason it is always full....
Food and service was great as always . It was not full when we got there , but filled up quickly , and even at its busiest , the food came out promptly and was outstanding . Our favorite place !
My girlfriend and I went there for dinner for the first time the other night. The food was outstanding. We both got the Bacon Wrapped Filet but I was completely shocked by the price of the filet which was 46$. Everything else on the menu is priced very fairly and was not expecting it to be that expensive. Personally I felt a little ripped off. I spoke to a good friend of mine who is a restaurant owner in the area and he said the same thing.
Great food & service overall, great Valentine's day & date dinner altogether
My wife and I went out for Valentine’s Day dinner to our favorite restaurant and as always it was amazing. The specials were incredible that we got which was the halibut and the tuna. Service was ok this go around but on a busy night like Valentine’s Day that happens. Highly recommend this restaurant to any foodie looking for authentic Italian as well as Italian cuisine with a modern twist.
Excellent meal and friendly, attentive wait staff!
We went with friends for Valentine's Day and everything was phenomenal! Appetizers, meals, and desserts. I had white wine poached halibut that was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
Food was fantastic. Always some to bring home.
Toscanos with parking! I was a big fan of Toscanos but the parking situation in Bordentown stopped me from attempting to go. I was very pleased with the Robbinsville experience.
I have enjoyed dinner at Ravello many times over the last 3 years. Recently, a weeknight dinner for 3 after 7:30 was excellent. Great food and service, and no rush at all.
This past weekend, at dinner for 3 at 6:00 on a Friday night the food, and service, generally, were likewise most satisfying. However, we felt rushed: to order, to eat, and to finish and leave. This, although there were empty tables nearby. Another few minutes would have left ample time to 'turn over the table' for another seating, and not leave us to depart with a bit of a chill. I'll chalk it up to an inexperienced waiter, this time.
This has been our favorite and go to restaurant since they opened!! Whether it be just the wife n I, dinner with our teenagers or a meal with friends, this place never disappoints. The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. BYOB helps make this dining experience affordable and enjoyable.
It is the best restaurant in this area. I had tuna tartare tacos with avocado for an appetizer which was absolutely incredible. Veal chop over gnocchi for dinner which was perfectly cooked. I love this place and will continue to go!
The 3 of us all had the special, the best veal chops we've ever eaten. Kudos to the chef since we had 1 rare, 1 medium and 1 med. well, all perfect!
Very Good food, reservation was right on time, service was good as well. We would go back for sure.
The calamari is delicious but overly sweet for our group’s taste. The chicken artichoke was terrific! The service was good but a little more hovering than we prefer. With that said, it was a very good evening out.
First time visit. Reservation was for 4 adults and a baby. We ate early at 5:00 because we had the baby with us. The staff was very accommodating, the service was wonderful. We ordered appetizers and the ravioli entree also as a family style appetizer. Every dish ordered was delicious and we will absolutely be returning.
Arranged for Reservations for 6 at 630 and we only waited a few minutes to be seated. Our waiter arrived, introduced himself ABs announced the specials but didn’t take drink orders and left. He seemed flustered or off? But not knowing him it was hard to tell which. He was that way all evening but we made the most of it and just concluded he was having an off night. It was an effort to get fishers cleared from the table. Aside from that the food from beginning to end was delicious! The table bread, the calamari app and our dinners were all on point! It’s BYOB which is great too. Honestly would love to go back to try more dishes!
We enjoyed the Caesar salad, chicken franchese, and fettuccine Alfredo. The food was fresh (and the pasta was homemade), and our server was polite and fast. We will be back again.
Excellent service and food! I have been there several times, and it is always fantastic!!
Always a favorite. Consistent. Delicious. Grilled steak is better than any high end steak house.
Great food, service and happily accommodated my daughters food allergies. We’ll be back!
We've been in the area five years and Ravello is my favorite and in my opinion the best the area has to offer. There menu offers traditional Italian favorites, contemporary continental spins, and specials that make use of the best seasonal ingredients. While they don't have the variety of steak offerings as their mother restaurant, Toscano, they always have a solid steak offering too. I typically alternate between these specials and my favorite chicken and shrimp ravello. Service is always A+ and they softened their color scheme and decor to make it cozier.
As usual the food was outstanding. It gets better every time. The service was good and it was close to home. My only complaint is the noise level. That must mean everyone was having a nice time.
Always a great meal at Ravello , excellent food and service . One of our favorite restaurants !!
Celebrated my wife’s Retirement! Service was very good. Minor cutbacks was noticeable from our last visit.
Hostess dressed in a jogging suit, REALLY??? Tables are way too close together. Waiter screwed up pizza order and did not get to eat lunch. He was polite and took care of it.
Disappointing. Came because we love Toscanos; we won’t return here. Lesser menu, lesser experience of service, lesser enjoyment of the food. Cold draft not only from the front door... but also emanating from the bathroom hallway. Server didn’t check on us once she delivered food... but that was almost a pleasure because her way of being was grating.
Great food & service. A little noisy due to several Christmas parties
You can count on a great meal every time you are at Ravello by Toscano. Calamari appetizer is unbelievable. Perfectly prepared nice and tender lightly fried. Tuna special ALWAYS exceptional. It doesn’t matter how the tuna is prepared it’s always perfect. The chef at Ravello by Toscano is amazing.
Great food and service
Food was excellent. Plates are presented in an appealing way. Huge portions. Can't wait to go back.
The food was great all of it was amazing. The noise level was tough. I am hearing impaired so it made it tougher.
Absolutely perfect the two times we have been! Reservations are a MUST!
When making the reservation, I specifically asked to have a corner table not in the middle of room. They do not pay attention to the comments section of this site for reservations. We were seated at a table in the middle of the room in the high traffic area where we were bumped into several times by wait staff. It was a very uncomfortable feeling to keep ducking waitstaff to avoid being knocked into.
great meal every time.
Food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try another dish.
Went for lunch. Two tables finishing and we were the only table (later two more tables of two came in). The waiter was flying around frantically for seemingly no reason. It was not busy. Took him awhile to come to our table to take our order. There were three of us. I said that we were going to share a couple of dishes: a soup and then a pasta dish. 20-25 minutes later, BOTH dishes come out. I asked him to take the soup back and hold it until we were done with the pasta. Perhaps I should have told him to course it or perhaps he could've asked me. Anyway, he never once checked on us throughout the meal. That said (of course you remember the service, good or bad), the food was delicious. Had the tagliatelle with short ribs and then the pasta fagioli. Would get both again. Haven't been here in awhile and I will return because of the food. My service philosophy is that the slower and less crowded a restaurant is, the worse the service is. This again proved true. However, I will return and hope the service is better.
As a frequent visitor to Toscano we were very disappointed.
Good excellent. Portions ample. Service good. Will be back. Very well done
