Rat’s Restaurant is the perfect dining destination. Named for the fabled entertaining character in Kenneth Graham’s children’s classic, The Wind in the Willows, Rat’s Restaurant is designed to give visitors the sense they have stepped into a village reminiscent of the impressionist painter Claude Monet’s beloved town of Giverny. Rustic fireplaces, country French cuisine, seasonal hand-crafted cocktails and an eclectic beer and wine list are just the beginning.                                                                                                             Food is not awesome or excellent! Too pricey for the quality and quantity. Server was not in a rush and I had ti made a pile of dishes and tell her to the take the empty dishes. We went here for my mother in law birthday and server keep saying Happy Mothers Day! Whens we ask for the dessert I had to ask for a candle and start singing happy birthday. The outdoor sitting was beautiful and we enjoy the ambience but not the food.

                                                                                                            Although we had wonderful experiences at Rats Restaurant on previous occasions, it has changed. The menu was extremely limited and the food was lousy. They said that their head chef quit a while ago and they are having problems finding a new one.

                                                                                                            From our Host - David to our server Peter - everything was above and beyond what I had hoped for today for our birthday lunch celebration @ Rats. Our service was impeccable and all the staff was friendly and very attentive to our dining needs. The food was outstanding! Very delicious. The atmosphere was lovely - the doors were open to the garden seating area allowing for light and air to flow to us and the sounds of nature as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great pleasure to dine here.

                                                                                                            We dined outdoors but the indoor dining room had a lot of ambiance as well. Although not a lot of lunch options on their lunch menu it was mire than sufficient and we had a delicious meal and excellent service. I highly recommend and will be back as well.
