Great service and food , servers are very friendly, only thing i would recommend is to have the hostess be a little more friendly but everyone was else was amazing
WE had the Lobster special with filet mignon. It was outstanding. The quality, taste and the portions were great. Great service.
My first time coming here for my birthday reservation. I loved everything about it. Food and drinks were amazing. Customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely be returning back!
Always great food great steaks great sushi
I love starters as a meal. I chose crab cake, ravioli, sliders and wontons.
The staff made us feel as if we were their priority. Great restaurant
Wonderful!! Caring and efficient staff..delicious food!!
We had appetizers that were sent in from a friend for my daughters birthday . We first received the cold apps that were very good and had a hot app of crispy rice. The staff told us that there was a lot more hot apps to come .
Then the waiter told us that the crispy rice was the hot appetizers. Our friend who sent this over told us that he paid for a lot more hot appetizers. If we did not talk to our friend we would have never had the hot apps. I asked several time for over 45 minutes just to get some plain water for my husband . I had to constantly ask for water refills and drinks.
No one came over unless I flagged them down for another round of drinks. Everyone was nice ,but definitely
was not attentive to our table. It’s an expensive restaurant , I expect the service to match
Then I went to the bathroom in the first stall there ways something smeared on the wall and a tampon thrown on the toilet seat. Besides that no toilet paper.
I would never expect something like this in such a beautiful restaurant like this.
You really need to have people keeping an eye out for the bathrooms. It was horrible.
Table was ready at our reserved arrival time of 6:30. We were seated in a pretty room that had an outdoor feel to it at a table with wicker chairs (uncomfortable) on a stone patio (which was cold). The wait staff came to the table quickly to go over the specials, but did not attend to us throughout the meal leaving us to pour our own wine during our dinner. The servers did not check back with us to see if we needed anything else, presumably because my wife and I were the only one’s drinking wine.
The food was definitely the highlight of the night and was all prepared correctly. All the appetizers were great, although a spoon was not provided with the truffle chicken wontons to enjoy the broth. The steaks were all excellent as were the accompaniments with the exception of the yuzu bearnaise, which was stiff having a butter consistency. My son’s salmon was served skin side up which was unusual and at first bite off putting, however the fish was cooked properly and the Japanese eggplant was tasty too.
We have eaten at other Scotto restaurants and this one missed the mark when it came to service. With that said the General Manager Cliff Dragonetti was visible in the dining room and we had a nice chat after our dinner while awaiting the check. He was gracious and took the time to introduce himself to my family engaging with them personally.
Overall, despite the spotty service our daughter enjoyed her birthday dinner and we all enjoyed our meals.
Service very good but took over 35 min for our first round of drinks. Food is always excellent BUT super expensive. If your good with $120-$150 per person then I strongly recommend it. Been here several times on business but not 100% sure I would spend that much if it was not business.
The food was excellent. Our waiter was excellent. The manager was even greater. Loved it. It was our 1st time eating at a restaurant on Thanksgiving and it was a great experience.
excellent meal every time we go there and great service
Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner!
Excellent ambiance, service and food!
Everything about this restaurant was Great From The Valet Parking Till I Got My Bill The Owner Was Real Nice…I’ll Definitely Be Back
Rare650 is a Manhattan-style steakhouse with friendly staff and excellent service
excellent food steak was perfect very nice staff will go back
We had an early 5:30 dinner reservation. The restaurant was Beautiful and peaceful at that time. As the restaurant filled the room came alive yet noise levels remained moderate and it was easy to converse. The service and food were excellent. I just can’t get used to receiving 4 sea scallops as my entree. Maybe it’s just me.
Atmosphere was amazing, service was great, and the food tasted delicious. We enjoyed ourselves with the dinner selections and bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend to other people. We are looking forward to returning in the future.
Very nice restaurant.... Good food and good ambiance. The steak was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth going.
We used to dine frequently at this restaurant, but since my last time dining there I was very disappointed with the food . Service and the setting. It seems like we dine in some parking lot with no music.our server were not coming to take the orders until after a while of seating. We had to ask multiple time before we could get served . We had our reservation at 8:45 , but get seated after 30 to 40 minutes. Will think twice to call it a fine dining experience.
It’s was spontaneous. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back. Manager was very welcoming and staff as well.
This is my 5th Saturday here and I love the vibe, the food and the service is to die for!! Faji and Nor provide the best customer service EVERRRR!!! It’s like a little slice of Manhattan vibe in Long Island!!
Great food and great service!!! Always a great night out.
My family and I had such a great time. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all amazing! We went for the Tuesday night special and it is a fantastic deal. Steve and Michelle were excellent servers and provided insight and recommendations for drink and food selections. We were also greeted by Cliff, the manager, who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome for our first visit to the restaurant. I would highly recommend going here whenever you can get a chance.
waited a very long time for the order and when they brought the steaks were burnt
I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews but for how much we paid for dinner and what we experienced I felt it was necessary. We had 8:45 reservations and weren't seated until about 9:30. Our server looked like he was spread too thin. He was very nice and you can tell he was trying his hardest but was over worked. We ordered the porter house for two which came at about 1030. we ordered it medium and came basically rare. After we were served my girlfriend accidentally spilled her drink in her plate that she hadn't even touched yet. It had 3 huge pieces of meat on it. We couldn't find the waiter for a good 5 minutes so she was sitting there in a puddle with her $64 steak soaking in alcohol. When the waiter came eventually didn't even try to offer something since obviously we lost a good portion of the steak, all he did was offer to replace the drink and mashed potatoes but after waiting so long to eat we were obviously hungry and would've liked to have more meat. Me and my girlfriend have been trying to hit all the big steak houses on long island and of all the ones we've been to this one felt the equivalent to a TGIF. Very disappointed by how much we spent in relation to the experience.
We had an amazing experience! Everything we ate was outstanding and delicious! The service was nothing but great. Marty and Juan were both very helpful and made our dining experience fun and rememberable. We were made to feel very comfortable and we’re not rushed at all. We will Absolutely be back again and we can’t wait !
Everything was delicious and very enjoyable.
the steak is expensive but great.....the service was quite attentive
Rare650 has become our new go-to restaurant for special occasions, specifically birthdays and anniversary. They have a special which is exactly what we want for those occasions.
Really enjoyed our evening. The menu has so many great choices. We had shrimp scampi, the Manhattan salad, the rock shrimp tempura and if we were were hungrier or had more people we would have loved to try to some other things. Great service. Very professional waiter. Cliff the manager was so attentive. He stopped by and made sure we were enjoying everything.
Went here to celebrate my birthday last weekend. The restaurant is very beautiful. Ambient lighting, classy decor, clean and spacious. I had the Rare650 sushi roll. The fish is very fresh. The New Zealand lamb chops are also good and the lobster tails too. The lobster mac & cheese is so delicious! If you love lobster then it’s a must try. The cheesecake is really light and flavorful and the donuts they give for dessert are a special treat. Our table had 2 waiters J.B. and Niko who were both very attentive and great! And the manager Albert I believe his name was came over to check how our table was doing too. All very polite and courteous. The only thing I would say is that the drinks in terms of cocktails aren’t top notch. Only one drink out of the two I got tasted okay but it was nothing spectacular. I wouldn’t go there for drinks specifically but it was a very good experience overall. Would recommend.
Was expecting a more positive experience but was disappointed. Would have given one star for over all service but One server, I believe his name is Pablo, attempted to be more attentive compared to our main waiter. Food was ok but waited way too long. My soup was cold. Four tables around us complained of the same issues, long wait for food, food was cold when it finally came and service was subpar. I feel badly for the wait staff as I saw them running around a lot but something is amiss with execution.
In a word AMAZING!!! This spot is a little slice of Manhattan in long island!! The ambiance s d vibe are TOP NOTCH!! The general manager and all the staff were attentive, friendly and the touch of comedy was just what we all needed! I will be back!!
Our waiter never came to check on us or ask if we wanted another drink until we were done with our meal. We sat in the atrium which is beautiful but very loud. Steaks were good but not great. I'm more than happy to spend $330 includes tip, per couple (steak, app, side, dessert, 1 drink each) but not the service alone would make me not return.
Excellent food and excellent service, will be back for sure
Restaurant was extremely loud and had a hard time hearing other people at the table. The Portions were smaller than Insignia especially the the Sushi appetizer. The waiter never asked if we wanted our Steak sliced that my wife and I were sharing and when it was cut it seemed to be ripped and not cut.
I was very disappointed being that this is supposed to be the sister restaurant to a restaurant I attend weekly.
I just had my birthday dinner here and everything was amazing! We sat in their outside heated patio area. I was worried it would be too cold but the temperature was perfect! The food was delicious! Definitely make sure you get the Mac and cheese, it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The service was excellent. The owner came up to us at the end and offered us limoncello at their end of our meal, very nice man.
Would definitely come back for another special occasion!
