We were told upon arrival that our table had a booking two hours from our booking. We were not informed about this when we reserved. We said we would do our best. Throughout the meal, we were told several times that we had to vacate our table soon. Our check was brought without us asking, our plates were removed before everyone was done, and everything was generally rushed. This did not make for a relaxed meal.
The Chef was spot on with flavors. Unbeatable french dining at its finest. Laid-back service but overall very good. If I lived in NYC, I’d be a regular. Would certainly go back.
Amazing food and atmosphere
Service just average
We had dinner at five area restaurants in soho of the same quality
and Raouls is on the expensive side - a little over priced
I think next time i'm in NYC i will try other restaurants of the same quality
probably for less $
Excellent as always!!
Brunch was amazing. Solid all around food. Beignets and steak tartare were delicious! Burger was unique and outstanding.
Got the Blueberry pancakes which were amazing! And fries are delicious too.
It was great!
I come to NY from LA just for these steaks
Food was amazing and classy French. Also enjoyed their Kir Royal :)
Casual but very special ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff who make you feel like a regular. Feels like a hidden gem even though it is famous. I would return in a heartbeat.
We arrived at 6 ( early) were informed , we’d pls. be out by 7!! Okay. We made res. Last minute. But then server took 15 minutes! To get to our table to take our order. No way to dinner in 45 minutes.
We’re given all food at one time . Imagine. We didn’t rush but we didn’t linger either for cconsiderstion of your guests.
Fun interior, interesting patrons and amazing food.
It’s all been said: Raoul’s is the best! A rainy, cold Tuesday night: no matter: packed as usual. Great everything.
If visiting Soho, this is an experience not to miss !
Waiter forgot one persons entree and never even noticed he forgot it. New level of bad service and we normally love this place!
Our reservation was not taken. After 45 we leave. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. You can not take the reservation for granted to get a table.
It was our daughter’s 26th birthday, we came to Raoul’s for her 25th as well. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. And still today, it doesn’t disappoint. Actually, Raouls’ continues to exceed expectation on every level.
Raoul's is my favorite NYC institution! Food, service, and ambiance are the best!
We really enjoyed our stay at Raoul's! The food was very good and the service lovely. The place is very crowded and noises- so if you look for a quite place this is not the right address for you.
We can highly recommend the restaurant as we had an amazing evening there!
- Great Burger
- Wonderful service
best burger i’ve had in forever. music and ambiance was stellar.
Wonderful brunch experience. Yes, the burger au poivre is worth it. Order and you will not be disappointed. Fresh oysters and perfect cocktails. Warm and energetic staff all in a NYC classic. Will be back
A frustrating and disappointing evening at a bistro I have frequented whenever in nyc fir 30 years. My dining friend ordered the steak and just did not care for it...and asked to order another meal. Well then the inquisition starts with the manager “explaining” that the steak was prepared as ordered and we had to pay for it. The manager was condescending and pompous. I have never encountered a restaurant tribunal before...all at an establishment I have always loved.
One of my favorites! Delicious food and impeccable service! Fun, classy vibe!
Food is mostly cold for a brunch. Very short menu. Way too expensive.
The whole experience is great!!! We have been here many times to celebrate birthdays. Always fun!
Amazing consistency and now expanded menu. A great place.
The food was solid but it was the Bloody Mary that added the extra star. Delicious!
Great ambiance, excellent service, food was fabulous - steak tartare a good portion and very tasty, grilled octopus perfect, steak poivre delicious if not a little over priced at $52.
I asked my wife where she wanted to celebrate our 49th anniversary. She immediately answered Raoul’s. We ate there before and were so impressed. The staff is so friendly and professional. The food is superb. This time we had the steaks. They were marvelous.
Raoul’s is my favorite restaurant in all of NY. Delightful service, classic atmosphere and the best steak au poivre to be had anywhere.
Still as great as ever!
Outstanding service and food consistent over the years
Exceptional burger, superior service, fun atmosphere! A wonderful place to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends in a warm and inviting atmosphere!
One of my favs in nyc
Very helpful and friendly staff
Took a friend for New Years dinner. She’d been to the restaurant 20+ years ago. It was better than she remembered. The food was to die for.
My favorite restaurant in the city. Charming, great ambiance , excellent playlist, excellent waitstaff.
