As usual, everything about this restaurant was outstanding. Unfortunately, due to COVID, our table was in the sidewalk which took away the ambiance we experienced in the past.

We cannot blame the restaurant for that but the laws in California. That is the reason I still give 5 stars for ambiance.

The service is better than any other restaurant including their valet service.

Couldn’t be happier to have chosen Rao’s for dinner.

Amazing . Get the Veal Parm

The ambiance is what we loved the most. We reserved a table for 6 and it was nice and secluded. The music was a mix of oldies music from 50-60s which was refreshing. The service was amazing the waiter was attentive and very informative about the food. The food it self was amazing, the meatball appetizer where out of this world, the carbonara was exquisite it was creamy and savory with the bits of pancetta. The chicken Milanese was perfect as well. All plates are big and stuffed with food. The cheesecake was rich and creamy a must get for sure. Downside is that parking is impossible but vale is offered for 12 bucks.

We love Rao’s it was the first place I made a reservation to go to once they opened outdoor dining again!
We love the veal scallopini the meatballs and the pene vodka! We always take home leftovers and stuff ourselves.
The staff are so friendly and make us feel special. We always ask for the back table next to the fireplace.

Great in all respects

This was their first day open after the lifting of restrictions. It was perfect. The staff did a great job. I had a fabulous veal parmigan. So it is time to enjoy an evening meal again.

Romantic but fun place in Hollywood and a genuine institution. Wine selection is really good but the food is consistently excellent. We go for the same thing every time - seafood salad, chicken parmigiana and the clam linguine. Service is always professional and entertaining. Never disappoints.

This is my favorite dining experience in Hollywood. The food is excellent, the staff friendly (and will remember you if you return), and the patio attractive and quiet. It is hard to do better than a half order of one of their pastas plus a main course. I can't wait until they reopen.

Food is worst than airplane food.

First time at Rao's Hollywood on Friday (didn't know it was there!). Meat ball appetizer was fantastic, very good Ceasar salad too. Had the Linguini with Clams which was also excellent. Shout out to "Kevin #2" for outstanding service! Will definitely be back.

Food was excellent, good sized portions and great taste too. Server was attentive and keep us topped up with drinks and asking how our meal was . The downside was when, who I presumed was the Italian owner/manager, walked out and I asked if he was the owner, and without even looking at us simply said "No, I just hang around the place" and walked by. It was just rude. I actually wanted to compliment him on the food, but he came across incredibly arrogant.

We were there for our son’s birthday. The waiter was jubilant but forgot one of our entrees. It was fine, but for the prices we expected top notch service. He also never once asked me if I wanted another drink. I just felt like the service could’ve been stepped up. I also saw a group of waitstaff singing happy birthday to other tables, but he just dropped off a piece of cheesecake with a candle at our table for my 11 year old son. Would have made it feel very special if they had sung happy birthday. Especially for a $250 meal. Left feeling a little short changed as we had been looking forward to this outing for weeks and it was our first time there, and a pretty fancy for our little boy’s bday.

The food quality was very upsetting. The sever rushed us out the restaurant & didn’t give me a chance to count change & leave a tip before he took the money off the table

Perfect service, great meal

the meatballs and the pork chops are a favorite of ours, delicious.
eggplant parmesan, and their cheesecake is the best. all the food we have tried is amazing.
