Rao's - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
At each visit, the Rao's family wants it to feel as if yours is the only table in the room. The impeccable Southern Italian fare stems from the dishes' high-quality ingredients, such as house-roasted red peppers, freshly grated Pecorino-Romano and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses, Felipo Berio olive oil and certified San Marzano plum tomatoes imported from Italy. For more than 115 years, that's the way the family has cooked in their iconic New York kitchen, and tradition is alive and well at their Las Vegas restaurant.
The time-honored staples include perfectly cooked pastas, risottos and the mouthwatering steak bistecca; cooked perfectly and sliced tableside. The classic veal chop is pan-seared and topped with a medley of hot and sweet cherry peppers.

Found the restaurant very noisy, and loud. Even some of the waiters were very loud. Prices were expensive compared to other restaurants. Didn’t like the taste of Caesars salad and the linguine with clams. Nothing to write home about. Thing the restaurant is over rated.
The food was great as always. Our waiter, Russell, was very good and helpful.
Wait staff was pretty good. We needed drink refills but staff was too busy to check on us. Table was too dark, making it hard to read the menu. Food was OUTSTANDING !
Excellent service and the food was fantastic!
We were promptly seated (of course it was early) and wait staff, particularly our waiter, John, very attentive. The food was good. There was a little glitch when the lamb chops came out well past the medium rare I had requested.
Waiter offered to return it for another try but it was not that big of a deal. Waiter offered a complimentary desert as a gesture of good will.
Did not really detract from a very pleasant dining experience
We arrived late due to a show we saw at Caesar’s Palace. They welcomed us in late and provided exceptional and attentive service. We’ll
It was beyond perfect! From the moment we walked inside. We had a 8:00pm dinner reservation and we arrived earlier to have a drink beforehand at the bar! Service, Food, Ambiance! PERFECT. Will keep going back that is for sure!
Everyone had a great time, food was delish and staff were all so nice. Thanks for a great evening.
Incredible venue....may have been one of
The highlights for us in Vegas
Cannot wait to return
Noise level loud $18 for a little glass of wine however the food was excellent.. food prices where average
Absolutely incredible food. Must have the meatballs. My beautiful girlfriend loved everything. Always impress the lady you're with and so I did.
Good food, good service, nice place. Meatballs were the best!
Fantastic service nice people very insightful
on the menu. Very classy joint my daughter was very happy on her birthday thank you Raos.
The food and service were exceptional. Our waiter Russ, was on it throughout the whole dining experience. He made wonderful recommendations and was very professional. The food was delicious, served hot, and the lasagna was out of this world. We will definitely make reservations again on our next visit.
Superb service. For the most part food was excellent Only downside was the
Bread .The bread was cold garlic bread
Our first experience. Had higher expectations as I have dined at other comparable Italian restaurants. The service was sufficient, but felt $25 for a glass of average vintage wine, $55. For filet with no side is a bit high for an Italian restaurant. I’m not sure even Ruth’s Chris charges $55 for filet.
For the price.... Should have been better quality and A LOT more food.
Food and service were excellent!
The food is excellent. We are not big Ayers so we usually share. Ravioli was incredible. We love the veal piccata. Great desserts.
Rao’s was definitely an amazing experience. The atmosphere was amazingly peaceful and warming and the food was outstanding. There seafood tower was beautiful in presentation and taste. Their crab carbonara was perfectly season, the pasta was a perfect cook, and the crabs were nice and tender and added amazing flavors to the dish. Overall, the experience was wonderful, the service was helpful and fast, and the food was amazing.
The best!!! My favorite Italian restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️
I asked the waiter if it was possible to get spaghetti and meatballs. He said, I can make that work and indeed he did. I was charged over $45 fir this simple dish as he charged me over $30 for the pasta and about $17 fir the meatballs. If I was told this prior to ordering I never would have paid that much for a simple order of spaghetti and meatballs. A total rip-off.
Very average food, not worth the price. Service also very slow.
Service was rushed and impersonal... food was subpar compared to the NYC location and grossly overpriced. Get the antipasto and fritto misto - skip everything else.
Food was just okay. Pastas were both relatively dry - the bolognese especially. Once our food arrived, no one checked in until the meal was nearly over. The highlight was the wine and ravioli pockets. For $30 a plate, I would not return.
Amazing Italian food. Reasonably priced. The service was awesome but the food spoke for itself. The beet salad was awesome. My husband had the chicken parm which was Perfect! I had the Carbonera, it was delicious! Would highly recommend if your looking for traditional New York style Italian dinning experience.
Ask to sit in the room that replicates the NY restaurant. The design of the restaurant makes you feel like your in NY including the patio seating.
Delicious food, amazing service and a very cool vibe in the restaurant. If your in Vegas make sure you stop at Rao’s. I ordered the penne ala Vodka and it was DELICIOUS:)
Very disappointed! Expecting the same as their NewYork reputation! Not even close!
Another great visit - Our server Geraldo was super - very, very good service.. was what we wanted and expected.
You must get the Lasagna and Fritto Misto
Food was excellent but service poor.
The food and service were both excellent.
First time there, will definitely return
Lovely restaurant, food was good just not great. I had the clam linguine and it was good just no wow. I’ve had clam linguine other places where it was amazing.
My favorite restaurant in the world. Live in Los Angeles and frequent that location. Best Italian food you can get...
I have been to Rao’s several times, and this will have likely been my last. While the feed is great, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to ask for utensils and bread plates more than once, our starter came out well before our drinks, and our waiter was just generally MIA throughout the meal.
The food was excellent especially the meatballs. The service was very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was first rate
The food overall was good but the price was excessive. I get I was in Vegas eating at Caesar’s palace. However, I feel like I have eaten at many other restaurants where I have ordered similar entrees and the food was just as good if nand I paid at least have the price. I love food and I don’t mind paying for good found but when the bill comes out to $84 (Penne with vodka sauce, tomato soup with one cheese stick and one glass of rose) for one person that is a lot. I probably would go back. I feel like I could have had just as a good of meal if not better somewhere else and not paid that price point.
My original order came out cold. They replaced it but otherwise it was fine.
