   Went for Mothers Day (we go a lot anyway) and everything was excellent. Nice change from a cliché Sunday roast

   We have had many home deliveries from here but never eaten in the restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, the ambience was quiet and the lighting pleasantly low without being gloomy. The biggest downside to our visit was the toilets. They are truly disgusting, being dirty worn out and cold (they are the exact same toilets as "Cranberries", the first restaurant that was on these premises twelve years ago!). They do not reflect the high level of décor, service and quality of food this restaurant has to offer - so PLEASE spend some money and get them renovated!

   A very good evening, fine food, no pressure, reasonable bill. In all very good, we will be back.

   Fantastic food - when it arrived. The restaurant was overwhelmed by the number of bookings it had accepted. Apparently it was prioritising takeaways ... I felt sorry for the waiters and waitress who were delightful but unable to bring mains the table after an hour a half wait. Shame

   We'd always dined down the road at one of Cranleigh's competing restaurants which we'd always assumed to offer the best food. We were wrong - The Rania proved an unexpected gem and will now be our local curry restaurant of choice.

   Only the second visit to this restaurant but they made us feel like we had been going there for years. Fantastic and authentic selection of dishes with realistic prices. The staff are friendly and welcoming, efficient but giving you enough space and time to enjoy your meal and rest between courses if you want. Totally recommended for friends or couples wanting a change from the run of the mill curry you get in the high street.

   I had eaten here before and really enjoyed it. This time for my birthday i booked a table for a small party. On arrival no one spoke or checked the reservation. I was simply pointed at a table and then left there with no menus. The waiter didnt seem to understand or maybe couldnt hear but we were left for a long while. Eventually orders were taken and food arrived. However this took several trolley trips with pauses between. It would have been nice to feed all of us at once. I asked several times for more drinks because they didnt arrive... however all of these requests did make it onto the bill. The food was as expected xelicious and although this experince has de ted my fondness for the place I would go back.

    Our group of ex-colleagues eat here about 3 times per year. We have always been pleased with the food, service and price as we were on our latest visit.
