Range Steakhouse - Harrah's Laughlin Ratings and Reviews
We have made it a point to go to the Range Steakhouse whenever we are in Laughlin for several years now. The food and service is always wonderful and the view and coziness of the restaurant makes it perfect for special occasions or just a great dining experience in general.
Excellent place to dine. The food was absolutely the best steak and lobster I've had in years! The lobster was cooked perfectly, I lived in Boston and the lobster was a good as any I ever enjoyed in Boston. Go and enjoy a wonderful evening and the meal will knock you socks off. Not inexpensive but worth every penny you spend!! Great evening.
This restaurant is out of this world...great dining, perfect service, great everything.
My husband and I where just looking at the calendar to pick dayes for are next trip to Laughlin and The Range.
They always have a special for the evening. On the way to your table the sweet hostess stops and shows you a plate with the special. It’s $50.00 and comes with bread, salad, veggies and potato.
The Range did not disappoint. The atmosphere was delightful, the service supreme, and the food was indescribably delicious! My sister-in-law said that it was the best lamb she had ever had and she has lamb quite often. My veal piccata was so tasty and tender. It was an all-around lovely evening.
The Range continues to amaze. The food was awesome, the chef is creative and offers specials that are sometimes a retro meal, Steak Diane this time, to the always outstanding prime rib.
We always enjoy our evening at the Range. One of the top restaurants in the Harrahs casinos.
Both our Server Jon as well as Gasper, his assistant were FANTASTIC!
We were out on a date night and both of them were very accommodating to both my wife, who is blind, as well as myself, which am Deaf. We could not be the easiest table to serve, but they did it with professionalism, style as well as a refreshing bit of humanism which is lacking in many of our journeys.
I also wanted to thank the kitchen staff. Our food was fantastic and the presentation was beautiful.
Thank you all for a wonderful time!
We had been to the steakhouse the evening prior to Christmas, and had a great time. Now, understanding it was Christmas, and busier this night, we were disappointed in the time it took to get our food. It was one hour from the time we ordered, until we got our salads. And then another good wait before our entree. Had this been the case the night before, we would not have returned.
The beginning was a disappointment when we were seated next to the kitchen door (very noisy) , with several tables available elsewhere; and had to request a move (which was accommodated). The largest disappointment was the combination of low quality food for high cost. The Chilean sea bass (which I have had in multiple locations across the US) was marginal; the scallop potatoes were dry and had had an unappealing spice/taste; and the desert was extremely disappointing - server could not tell us what it was and best we could tell it was dry bread, processed strawberries, and canned whip cream. It was Christmas, so we were cheerful with the staff. We will not be returning anytime soon.
We dine at the Range Steakhouse in Laughlin, NV. every change we get. The food is great and the staff is very friendly and professional. The steakhouse is beautiful with an amazing view of the Colorado River. The prices are reasonable and a great selection. The food portion are larger than most steakhouses.
The Spinach Salad was the best I have ever had. Ever. Had to return for a second one two nights later. No chocolate for dessert so that was disappointing. Atmosphere is lovely and no loud music so we could visit and enjoy each other's company. Waiter's and Waitresses were fantastic both meals. Friendly and happy. The appetizer bread was not good but that could be because I am used to eating my homemade bread.
The food and service were superb. However, I had requested a window seat many days before my reservation date. This was not fulfilled. I reminded staff about my request and was told all window seats were reserved. There were open tables throughout my time in The Range.
This was our third visit to the Range Steakhouse located inside the Harrah's Hotel/Casino in Laughlin NV. The ambiance is nice and quiet and the service professional. The restaurant looks out over the Colorado River, a beautiful scene during the early evening. With both tables and cozy booths, the seating is ample and comfortable. Very "classic" steakhouse feel. A decent wine list but no cocktail menu. We had the calamari, Cesar salad, rib eye and prawns. All the food was excellent. Usually we share the cherry jubilee (classic desert made table side) but if you plan on desert you may want to either skip the appetizer or split an entree ($8 fee according to their menu)
Thank you Jorge for being your wonderful self. The onion soup is the best you'll find (served in an onion). A+ for creativity! Try the lemon drop martini with sugar rim. Superb! Unfortunately, we weren't smart enough to order steak at a steakhouse, so therefore the veal was tough and the lobster rubber. Our own fault.
Food was phenomenal. We went on Thanksgiving so it was very crowded. We had a reservation tho, and we were seated immediately. The service was great. Our server made us feel like we had the only table he was taking care of. We go to this restaurant whenever we are in Laughlin. Never been disappointed.
