Range Steakhouse - Harrah's Laughlin
The food this time was not as good as our previous visit. The rib eye steak was extremely fatty and was not cooked the way I requested. I really should of sent it back. The fish was good but the black rice isn't a good choice to serve the fish with. We will try again.
Dont skip this place. There was some continual confusion at the hostess desk, but once inside the food, service and views were excellent. Generous, tasty portions were served with plating flare.
My wife and I went there for her very special birthday and were very pleased with every aspect of our dinner. The food, service, and rivrr views made our evening a very successful event. I couldn't comment on their wine list as we had a bottle of champagne prior to our dinner, but based on everything else, I'd assume it was first rate too.
2 of 3 people got sick
The Range Steakhouse provides a beautiful view of the Colorado River from wherever you sit in the restaurant. The staff, including the host, waiter, and all, are very professional and warm. The food was quite tasty!
Went to celebrate our anniversary. It took 90 minutes before we even got our salads. I ordered a side of crab legs which arrived after we were done eating. Others came in 30 minutes after us and were eating dinner before we even got our salads. Waiter kept apologizing. Service was poor. Food was good
A bit overpriced for the steak quality.
Had oysters as well.....decent but nothing special
Excellent food and service with a great view of the Colorado River. The daily special was a Rib steak and shrimp in a yummy sauce. Love the bread they give you while waiting for your food. The Lobster Bisque was full of meat - Outstanding!
The staff is extremely pleasant and they WILL remember your name next time you return. Looking at the Colorado River while dining is a major benefit. Tablecloths are changed after every seating, chairs are cleaned and management HELPS with the process. Pur favorite waiter, Adam, has been there 25 years and is a sterling server. Christine is a notable hostess and Harry, the food and beverage manager is on hand when needed.
Take an appetite as the portions are generous and diversity of the menu is substantial with the normal lineup of steaks and seafoods. The lobster "mac" is listed as a side but is larger enough for a main course for two. Wine selection is well rounded with a few offered by the glass.
Everything is moderately priced but cost is the last consideration at this gem.
We ordered stuff towel bit. The portion size was acceptable but it had very little flavor. It was warm, not hot. Really just nothing special about it.
Absolutely wonderful dining experience, as it always is! Food was delicious and the banana’s foster for dessert prepared at our table was decadent but well worth it. Not too many places you can have a double lobster tail of decent size for their price. Highly recommend this restaurant for a great dinner.
The Three Onion Soup is out of this world. This is my third or fourth visit to The Range & it always meets & exceeds expectations.
Wonderful place to eat, good food options and it was a nice quite spot to have a great meal. Staff was very attentive and you did not feel rushed.
Food was wonderful our server was not attentive and we felt he was preoccupied.
Food was wonderful, service great. Upscale but with a friendly atmosphere
This is the second time we were there. The atmosphere is wonderful the service super and the food superb
It was our 29th wedding anniversary and it was awesome.
My wife's steak (New York Steak), even though it was cooked correctly, had a lot of gristle in it. She only ate half of it. She should not have had to fight the steak. When you pay $44.00 for a steak, we expect the best. This one should have been thrown out before it was cooked. We did point out the problem. Got a free dessert. This did not make up for the quality of the steak she ordered.
The food was amazing and our servers Tony and Keith were exceptional. Keith even taught me a little french throughout our meal. I hope they see this.
Everything was wonderful.
It was all around great food was Excellent , well Definitely go back next time we are in Raf definitely go back next time we are in Laughlin
Excellent prime rib, however, I ordered the smallest size, and my husband and I could have split it.
Had a great meal on two separate occasions. We had the same Server, Cody, both times. The food and the service were excellent. From the Lobster Bisque to the Calamari to the Lamb Chops to the Halibut to the Bananas Foster to the Cherries Jubilee. It was well worth the price.
We celebrated a birthday there and were very pleased with our decision to try this restaurant. We had a reservation for 6:30, arrived on time, and were seated immediately. The decor is very nice and well maintained. The tables are arranged nicely to provide some privacy and most tables have a view of the river and Bullhead City. The wait staff is polite and seemed to sincerely desire to meet our needs. Our food was nicely presented and cooked to perfection. A complimentary creme brûlée, with a spoon for me, was brought to my wife, with a lit candle for her birthday. Before our departure, a supervisor stopped by our table to ask if our experience was satisfactory. This restaurant is obviously dedicated to providing a fine dining experience.
George is FABULOUS as a server. Every time we are there, we thoroughly enjoy ourselves. The food is very good and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend!
first time to the Range and certainly not the last. My prime rib was so tender and the service was the best.
It was really nice we had a seat by the window at Sunset
We were there in October 2018 and were disappointed. We decided to try The Range again in February 2019 as the October visit could have been an off night. I’m so glad we did as our meal was outstanding, the service was top-notch and the ambiance was great. An overall awesome evening. Thank you!
We don't make a trip to Laughlin ever without at least 1 meal at the Range
Great Porterhouse steak.....guests really enjoyed Lobster. Quiet ambience and great, professional service.
The salmon was cooked well, but was very poor quality - strong & fishy. A good restaurant would serve wild-caught Alaska salmon, not farmed Atlantic fish. Ask for salad dressing on the side, as mine was over dressed to point of not being edible. Ambiance is nice and service is great.
Very expensive and was given only about half a potato and one carrot. When I asked I was told that they run out of potatoes later in the evening. There was also a noisy birthday party in our area. Steak and crab legs were good but waiting for 20 minutes after making a reservation was unacceptable
The best steaks and all the sauces to go with. The service impeccable.
We brought friends with us this time because we always have had a wonderful experience in the past. My husband did not find his ribeye too tender and it was rarer than he ordered. The red snapper was just ok and our friend ate about half. My filet was great, but we had to remind the waiter to bring the bearnaise sauce I had ordered to accompany it. Salads were tasty. Service is always terrific. We will probably return the next time we are in Laughlin.
Our wait time to be seated was exceptional. Our service was outstanding. The view of the river is awesome. Our food was well prepared. We all enjoyed our evening. The surprise birthday treat made our friends night. Thank you very much.
Excellent food. Great service.
Everything was great except for the welcome from the f&b supervisior! Older blonde women had no clue! Sorry can’t remember her name!
Our dinners were awesome. My husband had the "special" which consisted of shrimp and beef tenderloin...FANTASTIC!! I had lamb chops which were very yummy. The service was nothing special. They did not go above and beyond. We had a table near the window with a view of the river which was very nice. The restaurant itself is in need of a makeover as it appears a bit dated. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal.
The atmosphere is quiet & romantic. We were initially seated in a booth that didn't have a view so I requested one with a view & the hostess was happy to oblige us. The Escargot is delicious! I'm not a fan of mixed greens salad. A second option without an up charge would be nice. The Prime Rib was not edible. My husband ordered it medium well. It came out rare. The cut of meat was disappointing for being served at a pricey restaurant. It was too fatty. The server was very gracious & took it back to the kitchen & offered a replacement but my husband declined. It was removed from our bill. The server brought us creme brulee as an apology. It was awesome!
Food was very good . But the waiters were outstanding.
