range Ratings and Reviews
The service was excellent. I would have loved to have some bread with my soup/salad. Not having a cup or bowl option on the soup was inconvenient, although the bowls were actually smaller than I would ahve expected. The cookies with the check were delicious and a nice touch.
Food and ambiance were good. Interesting building-must check out the vaults in basement (old bank building that is now a hotel). Ask for Happy Hour menu. Entrees we had were salmon (good but a little dry so asked for sauces that were great and meatloaf was a big portion and pretty good.
The food was very delicious! We loved the corn and black bean chowder, hush puppies and the green chili shrimp and grits. The only negative about the restaurant is it’s very loud and sometimes difficult to hear the person you’re sitting across from. The valet was great! The restaurant validates your valet ticket. Overall a great place to eat.
Although have stayed in the hotel before, never dined there. Took advantage of a great theatre package although every diner receives free valet parking, not insignificant in downtown Denver these days. Salads were truly outstanding as were the entrees. Service matched the timing given we had to get to the theatre. Without question, will come back without needing to "watch the clock" and relax longer, look at dessert and probably have an even better experience than this first time which was, by itself, very good.
We had a very nice dinner at Range on Friday, Oct 13th. The food and service was excellent! We really enjoyed the goat cheese fritters as a starter. The warm brussel sprout salad was excellent and we both enjoyed our entrees - duck & sausage cassoulet (small plate) and the smoked bison ribs. Our server, Taylor, picked a wine pairing for both of us that was excellent. It was a very nice evening.
The service was good, my cocktail was delicious and I had a hard time choosing my food from the menu- in a good way! Everything sounded delicious and just when I thought I'd made a decision, food was delivered to the table next to us sending me back to square one. I wanted one of everything. All of our food was great and as a bonus, the restaurant was just quiet enough where I could actually carry on a conversation across the table without shouting. We will be back for sure!
Food was good. Creamed spinach had some kind of noodle in it, so you will be mislead by it only having a little spinach in dish. Salmon was delicious, the honey Dijon sauce and capers made it. Friends lamb was ok & steak was good. Great atmosphere & gorgeous building.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed Range a lot! The food would have been a solid 5 but the side potatoes that my boyfriend got could have used a bit more seasoning. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I had the filet mignon, which was one of the best I've had (melt in your mouth good!), with the side of brussel sprouts. The sprouts were very creatively put together and I loved the sauce. My boyfriend also got the waygu beef with the hunter's sauce. Winning combo and worth the price! I still preferred my filet for the value, but both were excellent. We went before the ballet which was a perfect distance for a little stroll after dinner and before the show! We will definitely come back.
Upon a suggestion from the "Reminders & Resources" listings with my "Frozen" season tickets showing on the Saturday matinee, Sept. 16, we were interested in trying a new dinner spot... your ad was inviting with a 20% discount for dinner plus complimentary valet parking, bonus!!
Our meal was amazing and the perfect ending to a wonderful musical experience at the DCPA until we went to get our valeted vehicle and found out that there was a parking charge. The lot attendant would not honor the DCPA resource agreement so my question is... Is parking complimentary or not upon presentation of show tickets??
We appreciated the experience of being able to eat, park and walk over to DCPA for a night at the theatre. We were running just a little late, coming from Boulder, and still had the perfect small meal, with a wonderful experience of the cuisine from our samplers. Fabulous staff, and the whole night was a charm! Thank you! We'll be back and likely next time to spend the night at Rennaisance, and do a bit more of the museum experience during the days!
