The food is good but over priced for what you get. The server had no idea of anything we asked. He did not know liquor brands and did not know how food was prepared on the menu. He was very slow. He kept coming back to the table to say he would be with us shortly instead of coming to take the order. In the beginning he kept coming back to take our order for food when we had not even had the drink we ordered. We told the manager what we thought of the waiter and he told us he was his best waiter. Overall it was not a good experience and we will not return.
Gavin was a super waiter and we had great Food! Will definitely be back!
It’s a very nice laid out restaurant. The staff was attentive. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was done to order. The only negative was the bun which was cold and took away from the meal. I would go back to sample other items on the menu.
We celebrated my birthday with dinner at Range and could not have been more pleased with the food, the service and the atmosphere.
We were greeted by a gracious host and seated at an excellent table. There was a fireplace nearby and gorgeous low lighting.
Our server, Gavin, was incredibly helpful with suggestions from the menu and took excellent care of our table.
We started with the smoked salmon and burrata and the helpings were generous. My daughter and I both opted for salads after enjoying such a robust appetizer and we found the greens to be fresh and crisp.
My husband enjoyed the bison meatloaf with polenta, all of which were perfectly prepared.
Gavin kept our glasses full and had a delightful presence and fantastic smile.
Range has exquisite food paired with a knowledgeable and friendly staff, highly recommend!
Superb service, excellent and unique food all served in a former bank.
All the food was e exceptional!
We had attentive service, tasty cocktails, and creative entrées.
Great place with unique menu items. The green chili at Range was better than Sam's No. 3 and you don't have to stand in line to get in.
Great food -- appetizer oysters, shrimp and sausage were a great start. Scallops out of this world, seared and cooked perfectly. Server Ricky made the evening a great one...
Range never disappoints. We always get stellar food, great service, amazing cocktails, and big portions for a reasonable price. This time, we had the flatiron steak, lamb ragout papardelle, and ancient grain parmesan risotto, all fabulous.
First time at Range for date night. Located in an historic building. Great ambience, attentive staff, good wine list. The food was very good. Reccomend the grilled oysters! Good portions. The bananas foster bread pudding topped off a delicious dinner.
Appetizers and drinks were good. Roasted chicken entree had seemingly been microwaved and was cold to the touch. Not what you’d expect for a $28 meal
Food was sub par. Services wasn’t great. Atmosphere was cool. Love the hotel.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Fun atmosphere
Great service. Good ambiance. Pasta dish mediocre—served Luke warm-cold and lacked flavor.
Food was ok, the meatball was tough and so was the meatloaf. The bacon was very good. The scallops were delicious.
Nothing special here at all. I was expecting a posh "old bank" style restaurant but none of that exists. It felt like we were eating in an older place that had no real style. The Brussel sprouts were tasty but the main courses were just average. Not a stunning place at all for the price.
Service was ok, had to keep asking for drinks. They didn't have Nespresso, wait for cappuccino was long.
Food was ok, not amazing.
We had the scallops and chicken for the main course. Excellent. Dessert - roasted fruit with vanilla gelato. Excellent. We were surprised to see so few diners with us. Service was adequate, but the Range had minimal staff (still pandemic effect??). Very good meal at a good price.
Your restaurant was outstanding and please give Gavin a hug for us. He was so remarkable and made us all feel welcomed. We will be back.
Love love love!
Our waiter was wonderful! And the food was even better! Will definitely be back, I recommend to anyone looking to try somewhere in downtown Denver!
Great place for a work lunch! Food was delicious and service was great.
The server wasn’t knowledgeable about the gluten free items on the menu. I ordered the seared scallops with a fresh vegetable instead of the risotto. They said they could accommodate me I’m paleo and gluten free. They brought my entree on the ancient grain risotto instead of fresh veggies. She took it back to the kitchen, only to bring it back the same but cold. “They messed up on the menu it’s actually gluten free” It wasn’t what I ordered and half way threw dinner it made me violently ill. Ps. The bathroom is no where close. Our waitress never came to clear the table after appetizers so another server did. Our server was so slow it took over an hour to get drinks and an appetizer. She never asked how our meal was either. For $210 I expected so much better on service and the food.
The food was pretty good but it was overpriced. We received an email saying to arrive in business casual dress. When we walked in, the first person I saw was in a white tee shirt with some logo on it.
The food exceeded my expectations and the service was great.
Meh. Terrible service, had to wait 20 mins after finishing to have our plates cleared and ask for the check- not the waiters fault because he was crazy busy, but all around not worth the cost… not going back.
We understand that they just reopened only 3 weeks ago, however the service was less than desirable. We literally had no idea who are actual server was because so many people were running over and tending to our table. The oysters were good, our bacon was cold. The ribeye was the highlight. Our drinks took 20 mins to arrive and we didn’t get to place our dinner order till 45 mins after sitting. They were incredibly nice and that was great. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday which I told them and noted in our reservation but nothing special was done for him. We probably would not go back
Meatloaf was dry and over cooked. The berry crisp tasted sour and like dirt. I only had one bite it was that bad. My friend had the scallops and she said they were good but overall not impressed.
We spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find a place to eat last minute with no reservations that was still slightly upscale. We couldn’t have found a more perfect spot. Service was outstanding, our waiter Donnie was awesome. Food was incredible! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. Drinks were impressive! Ambiance was small and relaxed. Overall 10/10 and will be back if ever in the area.
We are so glad range is back open. The menu has some great new items to try. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic as always. Range will always be our go to for date night.
The tables and chairs are not a good height compliment (table is too high / seat is too low)
So glad range is open again, took care of us wonderfully as we remembered in the past and had a great smaller menu ready to go. We’ll be back!
Food was great, service was terribly slow, had to ask to get waited on
The food at Range is very well prepared and the service is outstanding. Tables set up and bar are great. Everyone is focused on the customer experience. Which all culminates in a damn great experience.
Had a great server named Michael, the Queso Fondue appetizer was wonderful, and the salads we ordered were terrivic, and large portions. Enjoyed it very much, and they offer a theater discount, and were cognizant of our schedule to go see a show.
Excellent meal, it was busy for lunch so the bartender handled our table. It got busy so a few things took a little while, could have used a 2nd waiter but still very good. Had the sausage and it was delicious, but was kind of thin and got soggy with the sauerkraut and mustard so I knife and forked it.
I had the roasted tomato soup and veggie pizza. Both very fresh and tasty. Was a bit disappointed in the dessert - I ordered a scoop of sorbet, but got basically some scrapings in a glass. Good beer selection. NOTE: They do NOT serve brunch; even on a Sunday.
Great food and wine! The service was great and the food even better!
My friend and I had one of the worst servers I have ever had. My friend and I have both been servers in the past so we usually give people the benefit of the doubt but this guy was awful.
The restaurant wasn’t that busy so he may have had only two other tables including us.
First, he didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine.
We gave him our soup and salad order along with our entree. We waited for a half hour with no soup or salad. I asked the status and he said he never put in the order for those items. Two minutes later we got our steaks. My sides were on my friend dish, not mine.
The steaks were just ok and not worth the price at all. Not even close.
He comped the sides and took 20% off the entire bill and it was still $140 total. Even with that discount, it was way over priced.
I will never dine there again and will never recommend it.
