My family wanted a quiet venue in the downtown area with a unique menu. Range did not disappoint. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being too invasive. Every dish we had was beautifully presented. The seared scallops and bison ribs were incredible. The desserts were also unique and delicious. I will go here again when I visit Denver in the future.
Wonderful food, nice wine list, attentive service, lovely atmosphere. The only minor complaint I had was that it was freezing and I heard several other tables mention that as well but the answers were all along the line of blaming the cold snap and saying it would warm up when it was more crowded. We were very pleased with how simply and effortlessly our special request for a substitution due to allergies was handled but better overall understanding of the menu ingredients or how to get answers for allergy issues would be appreciated too. Our meals were delicious and it was great to use valet service and receive a discount with our tickets to a show at Buell.
Food was excellent and great cocktails! The Sommelier special on wine was awesome and a rose I would drink again. The service was great. The only issue , and this could be Open Tables issue not the restaurant, they had a bit of trouble using my Rewards for Open Table. It took them a few tries but they were very nice about it and apologetic it took awhile. Over all we loved it. It was a great evening before a show and I think they give 20% off with show tickets? We will be back. Oh the Candied Jalapeño Bacon is on the pub menu but you can still get it in the dining room. I don’t like bacon that much ( I know shocking) but I Love it! Highly suggest.
Place was awesome and food was great. Had a good mother’s day brunch. It wasn’t crowded at all. My wife and mother both enjoyed and our server was awesome. My kids had fun.
Me, my wife and daughter went there for mother's day lunch. All you can get is the brunch. They seem to be new at this and not have all their ducks in a row. Food was scattered on tables all over the place, even outside of the restaurant. I was told on the phone it was $13.95, the website says $31.95 and I was charged $39.95. Very expensive for what was offered. eggs, sausage, rolls, prime rib and omlets. no drinks included. Cost me $140. for a plain breakfast for 3. The dinner and breakfast menu looked better. Hotel is impressive.
Went for the Mother’s Day brunch, which was also my wife’s birthday. After having a reservation, we were offered a seat in the “lobby” because they wanted to make sure they “could accommodate their reservations.” After not taking the offer, we sat in the restaurant and had nobody in the surrounding tables for the next 90 minutes. The prime rib was good, but everything else was a Fairfield Inn Breakfast buffet at best, minus the waffle maker. Cold cinnamon roles and all. Oh, but instead of complimentary, we paid $40 per person.
Always a terrific meal, far from what you might think a hotel restaurant would offer. For this specific time, we were going to the theatre and, in addition to the always-offered valet parking with dinner, there is a decent discount on the total check. without that, I'd probably drop one - but just one - notch on the value question. That still makes it very good for the quality of the food, the portions, the ambience and especially, the great service. It's just that much better if you are heading to the DCPA.
No complaints.. we are here before going to a concert at the Pepsi center.. I was satisfied
I would recommend to others attending DPAC events
I took Open Table’s recommendation on range, and it was superb! We brought some customers here for drinks and dinner. Fantastic selection, great presentation, and excellent service. I could not have asked for a better server or location. Great place!
Service was reasonable but the food was overpriced and not very good. The main courses were served within 10 minutes of ordering, which indicates precooked meals. I had the meatball entree and it was dry and not flavorful. No Ione in our party commented about their meal being good but were too polite to complain. I will not return.
I could have made what we ordered for a 10th of the price, and it would have been presented better and tasted better. Who serves Duck prosciutto? It tasted like wet dog and made us gag. Food tasted ok. Was kind of bland. Service was great. People who work there were friendly and courteous and were trying their best.
We went as part of their arrangement with DPCA, 20% off the meal and free valet parking with a ticket to the theater. An outstanding deal. We will definitely return
Excellent choice for pre-show dining. Great menu. Impeccable service.
Excellent scallops and brussel sprouts!
Our family went for Easter brunch - thought we could order off the menu. The buffet was good but not great. Atmosphere is very cool and service was good.
Few choices for a $40 buffet and very slow service for Easter brunch. Such a disappointment
We came here as a group of friends for a birthday celebration on a double date and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and the experience overall was very nice. The only negative part was our service was slow. But other than that small inconvenience it was a wonderful time!!
It’s fine, just really over priced for the quality of food.
Range is a hidden gem. I work close by and though I’ve passed by a million times, this was my first time in. Absolutely loved the lunch menu. So much to choose from and it wasn’t like so many restaurants that are just trying too hard with their menu. The meatballs were delish. Others in my group had the truffle Mac and tuna salad and loved them both. Also get the parm fries!
We used to love this place but I cannot recommend it at this time.
The restaurant & bar were empty -- that was fine as we 4 wanted to be able to talk and it was early dinner. Not fine was that the bartender wanted to have a discussion about the "thousands of manhattans" he makes every week and questioned us on how to make the type we ordered.... Additionally the bar does not stock Aperol (too bad with spring / summer coming). The food was mediocre at best! One of our past favorites at Range had been the bison meatloaf -- no longer on the menu. Instead, there was beef & bison meatballs served on grits.... Not too far off, so we'll try that - MISTAKE. The meatballs were large but dry and tasteless, pillowed on lots of grits but about 2 tablespoons of sauce.... not enough to sauce either the grits or the meatballs. The server tried to be attentive but succeeded only in interrupting our conversation....
The lunch menu was offered. Our server, Donnie? was friendly but barely there. We ran out of water and I had to ask for more tea every time. Our food was a bit odd. The salmon flatbread was salmon paste of some kind - not clear on the menu that it would not be salmon but something else entirely. The 4 cheese flatbread listed something that apparently is another name for prosciutto but wasn't listed in the ingredients so a vegetarian received a flatbread with meat. I know we should have asked! This is the second time we have eaten here before a play and the food just wasn't great. I think the chef needs to review the menu. The room was also very cold.
I went for my 21st birthday. The waiter was extremely kind and attentive, and the food was amazing. Overall, it was a great time. Really pricey though, so a good place for special occasions
Food was extremely average for the price—not much taste at all.
Prices were good. Food was great. Service was pretty good. Friendly. Liked the ambience.
the gluten free chocolate chip cookie at the end is always a nice surprise.
Everything was delicious and service was amazing. A little pricey for the entree size, but so tasty it was worth it
The bartender ended up being our server for our table of 9 folks. He did a fantastic job!!
Slowest service I have encountered in a very long time
First time at range and have to say it was a great evening. Nice variety menu with lots of great dishes to share amongst a table.
Would have been nice to have some mucus playing softly in the background but other than that it’s a highly recommend place!
Bison ribeye was awesome, along with table side prepared mushrooms
Better than most Marriott/Reniassance resturants. Initally we had three different waiters. Our final waiter was not great. Overall dinner was good and they didn't screw up our two bottles of wine. The cornbread was great. The scallops could have cooked 2 minutes longer. The Bison ribs were good but don't compare to pork ribs. The brick chicken was good but too much food for a normal person.
Tried the smoked bison ribs, and they were excellent. As always, service was very attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.
They brought our soup and salad out at the same time as our entree. Not crowded and should not have been a problem to bring out first. Stuffed Acorn Squash was over seasoned and the squash was barely heated, hard and inedible. I do not recommend.
Always a great choice for before the show dinner. The ribs are amazing, but this time I had the chicken for a little lighter meal and it was terrific. I love the cider roasted brussel sprouts: they are perfect salty-sweet. Big portions. Great value. Our server, Gillian (?) was perfectly attentive.
Not a bad atmosphere, but the selection was minimal and the prices were high. Our server was friendly and great. You need to add a button for neutral on recommendations.
Food was very flavorful. Wait staff was attentive and provided great menu suggestions. Made for a very nice evening!
Great food and spectacular service! Only issue was not offering items on their menu anymore and hasn't been for awhile apparently. Worth going to brunch for!
The food was great, but my dinner guest told the waiter about her shellfish allergy to pass along to the kitchen (she ordered meatballs but wanted to play it safe) and there was a breakdown in communication somewhere because she experienced a shellfish reaction after eating dinner.
The corn chowder and fritters were great. Also had the lamb chop and it was perfect.
