Bone In Rib Eye Steak*
Prime Rib Eye with Bone in - tender & juicy
Rib Eye Steak*
Our Rib Eye is a prime piece of Meat marbled with fat
The most tender cut of Steak - a great choice
The service was poor. The waitress was inadequate at best and Our food took a very long time to arrive. Two tables that had come after us were eating dessert before we got our meal. The meal had obviously been sitting under a heat source as the potatoes and the sauce had glazed and thickened. The lamb chops were barely warm. My husbands wine pour was very small in comparison to the others in the room. It was removed from the bill but we would have preferred a decent pour instead. The food over all was very poor and certainly not worth the prices charged. It was a special night and it was almost ruined by bad service and terrible food. My stomach was upset through the night. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Incredible food and ambiance. If you are into anything vintage, you will absolutely love it here.
Great food, great service. Not your typical big chain restaurant.
Filets cooked the way we wanted them cooked. Waitress service was excellent and Randy came around to all the customers and asked how everything was. We will definitely be back numerous times.
Birthday dinner was very special
Of the 5 star steak houses I've been to in the DFW area, or anywhere really, I love the bleu cheese stuffed filet at Randy's the best. Absolutely delicious!
Our wait staff Michelle and Omar were amazing. Very knowledgeable. Loved sitting upstairs. Randy stopped by to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. We recommend highly.
Excellent! 2nd time here - love the paprika butter
All steaks and sides were excellent.
Only recommendation - it would be helpful
If they had a drink menu. But I like how they operate here and make you feel at home.
Great meal, the staff was fantastic and provided great service. The only complaint is that the dinner drug on for a bit as the food took a very long time to come out. That won’t stop me from going back or recommending this place to others. Great spot!
We went for my husband's birthday and had a great time. They made sure it was special. The food was absolutely delicious!
I would give them a 5 star, but my husband's steak was not cooked how he wanted it and he thought the oscar tasted too fishy. Other than that, we always love going to Randy's. Randy and his staff are so very nice, hospitable and professional.
Cool place. Would go again.
Our 39th anniversary and we chose Randy’s for this special occasion. It was our first time at Randy’s and we were not disappointed. Even though the kitchen was slightly slow with our steaks, they were excellent and perfect when they arrived. We actually didn’t mind because the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Cat was EXCELLENT. We had a fantastic evening. Randy came around to check on every table multiple times.
Cannot be beat. Great atmosphere, food, and character.
It was a busy Friday night and we were seated within 30 minutes of our reservation. Service was excellent and our server, Mark, was very attentive. Kitchen was slow getting meals out because of the crowd and, I assume, the same issue most restaurants are having with staffing. The food was excellent with generous portions. While the evening took a little more time than I'm used to for a relaxing evening out, the experience and food were worth it. Will go back (but not during restaurant week and probably not on a Friday night!)
Overbooked reservations for Friday night - seated late. Food took over an hour to arrive to table, and was just average. Friday is only night for Prime Rib, which is our reason to go. They were sold out before 6:30pm
Excellent food, most outstanding service
Delicious steaks, professional and friendly service.
Bentley our server was the best of the best Kudos. Food was terrific
Betsy was a fantastic server. Randy came to our table. The entire meal during Restaurant Week was delicious. We can’t wait to go back soon to try additional items from the menu. Highly recommend.
What once was a great place to get steak and sides, was a very dismal turn out last night. The fillets are dark black colored, strangely shaped with dry rubbery flavor. The sides were not consistent, as some came out burnt and some weren’t
Our server was outstanding and she handled a table of 14 by herself, no complaints there
Best restaurant since we moved to the area 2 years ago
The good: excellent filet, tornados, turtle soup, and lyonnaise potatoes. Good menu selections, especially since most places are paring down their menus post-lockdown.
The meh: domestic wine list, blackberry steak, charged for a separate item on a prix fixe menu (corrected when informed), servers seemed inexperienced. Pretty loud room.
The weird: creamed corn had a strange lemony flavor, bread pudding missing the promised bourbon sauce, strawberries "Romanoff" had ice cream instead of expected Romanoff cream. Server didn't know how to pronounce "chianti".
TL,DR: Nah. Too many missteps for the reputation this restaurant has. Unfortunately.
A couple of the diners thought that Randy's skimped on the quantity of the first course and that the bourbon bread pudding was a disappointment. One did comment that the waitress was outstanding.
We might try Randy's again sometime but it would not be for Restaurant Week. I
don't think their heart was in serving a quality meal at such a low cost.
We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary this past week. There was no doubt where we wanted to go to celebrate. Randy's is such a awesome place to eat or just to have a drink. The steaks are amazing!!!!!!! The service was top notch as well. We go to Randy's about one a month. They have delicious wine too.
Have been going to Randy’s for 12 years. This past year they have gone down the tube. Never going back.
Randy's food and service never disappoints, good food and very friendly waitstaff.
We were newcomers celebrating a birthday. Randy's rolls out the red carpet for birthdays. From the name of the birthday person on the inside marquee to the celebration inside. The food was amazing. Great energy. Our server was moderately attentive. She seemed to struggle with balancing her time with another table.
Third time dining here (restaurant week) and this place continues to provide superb meals and value for your money. From the warm bread, homemade butter, soup, salads and entrees, an excellent meal overall. The bone in ribeye, filet mignon and beef tournedos were seasoned/cooked to perfection. The parmesan crusted tilapia was flavorful/delicious. The baked potato, garlic mashed potatoes and potatoes au grating were a perfect accompaniment. Everyone loved the desserts (crème brulee, chocolate mousse and bread pudding). Our server Hannah provided well-timed and friendly service. Highly recommended.
We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. The hostess and the server were great and were working hard. Our meal was not so great, it took about 35 minutes for our appetizer-(mushrooms)to come out, they were a little on the dry side. Another 20 minutes for soup and salad. I ordered the lobster bisque, only to be told I they ran out, understandable. Instead I ordered the walnut salad, which looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for sometime. Meanwhile we saw the chef in our dining room at least three times with a full glass with what was confirmed to be Jack. I feel he should have spent more time in the kitchen to make sure food was running at a decent time and his kitchen was running smoothly. The steak was good, asparagus was bland with salt and pepper. The mash potatoes lacked taste as did the creme brûlée. Our dinner was about 3 hours long due to the slowness of our food. The server was apologetic and trying his best. They do gift a bottle of wine for special occasions, which was a nice touch. I don’t see us going back anytime soon.
We have been to Randy's many times and had great experiences. This one was not that way. We went for my wifes' 50th birthday, told them several times so we thought they would make it special. Had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. Our waitress came to our table exactly three times. She pawned the rest off on a busboy (I have nothing against the hard working busboy, he just didn't know what to do). The food was cold, didn't bring half of what we order. It was just horrible for the money we spent. We will not be back for a long time and will not recommend anyone else to go. So sad this restaurant has slipped so far.
Everything was great. Our out of town company throughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
We had a great night at Randy’s. Service and food were great. Randy stopped by our table to check in on us(always a nice touch). Love supporting this local Frisco restaurant.
Great food and great service.
It was great food, nice ambiance, attentive staff.
Due to short staff, stayed and waited for our food and service quite for a long time.
Manager served us with cocktails to make sure the wait is worthwhile.
Good did not disappoint.
Nice serving and tender and very tasteful every food we got.
We will definitely come back. Hopefully staff will be adequate next time. But that is what every food establishment is experiencing short staff.
Thank you Randy’s steakhouse for delicious food and the wine.
We went for restaurant week! It was a wonderful experience! I had the pork chop! It was tender and delicious! My husband had the beef and he loved it! They were very generous with the portions! We can’t wait to go back!!!
You cant go wrong at Randy's. It is always good!!!!
Great service. Friendly and attentive
