We’ve been eating at Randy’s since the first night he opened. The quality of service and food are always wonderful. There are a number of Randy signature items on the menu that keep us coming back. The ambiance, service and food are just perfect for business, a special occasion or date night.
Restaurant Week menu is full of good options. Everything was very good and we enjoyed a lovely evening.
Everything fantastic, from food to service.
Had a wonderful time. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend coming to Randys
Our server (dont remember her name)maybe Kaitlyn. She was awesome & very friendly.
We were in 1st dining to right of entrance (4 tables only) at 5:30 on 9/18.
One of the best overall restaurants I have eaten at. The charm of the historic home along with the top notch food and service what more can you ask for. The steak was perfectly made, and there is no way to explain how delicious the mac and cheese is. We will be back, please also try this establishment you will not regret it.
Wonderful, charming old house ambiance. Enticing menu items. All portions sizeable, with leftovers to take home. Our filets, different levels of "done" were perfect. Very attentive and prompt service from start to finish. Sufficient parking, too.
Food was fantastic! We eat there for special occasions and we have never been disappointed. The server was also great! Very personable and accommodating. Definitely will be going back!
Fantastic food and atmosphere with impeccable service.
Nice ambiance...good service and food...first timers...wel’ll be back
We absolutely love Randy’s for its phenomenal food, ambiance and customer service! 5 stars!
It was a good experience but the steak I ordered was very thin for a ribeye and tasted like it was fried in a pan on stove, not grilled. Baked potato, salad and dessert were great.
Randy never disappoints! The food, the ambiance, the service - was impeccable!
It was amazing as usual, this has become a regular place for my husband and I. Always excellent service and food!
Pork chop was out of this world! Husband made it his new “Go to” meal. They have a good variety on the menu. Hate to say it but we found the desserts lacking.
Always a great experience; especially during restaurant week with a few new items on the menu and when it can also benefit a good cause.
Went for restaurant week but exactly what we expect from Randy’s, fantastic food and experience.
We’ve never had anything but a great evening/ dinner at Randys’!
Love spending anniversaries and birthdays there!
We were celebrating our 57th anniversary. The food was outstanding and receiving a bottle of wine at the end made it even more special. Thank you
Celebrated our anniversary at Randy’s and ate from the fixed price menus. The food was excellent!!! Wait staff was also very friendly and professional. Spacing and safety precautions were good and we felt safe eating here. 👍👍👍
We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience for our 47th wedding anniversary.
Very nice looking place, interesting history however, service was very poor and food was just ok. Food and drinks are very over priced.
Tried Randy's Steakhouse during DFW Restaurant week for the first time. The staff was polite and waitresses never made us felt rushed. We went with another couple so it was nice to be able to visit in a quiet atmosphere without loud music / TV's/ distractions. I ordered Randy's Walnut and Feta salad which was delicious - light dressing. I had the blackberry filet which was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the pork chop, which was huge and also delicious. I had the chocolate cake for dessert after a recommendation from or waitress -it was heavenly! My husband was pleased with his cheesecake as well. Drinks were good as well as the bread they served at our table. We were very happy and will return again.
Can't believe it's taken us this long to try Randy's Steakhouse. The quality and originality of the menu and hospitality are truly top shelf. It is quickly becoming my favorite steak place in the area. Highly recommended.
Randy's was pleasant right from the start. There was ample parking designated, the exterior of the building is quaint and homey. As we walked in, we were greeted by 2 hostesses and we had a note on the message board congratulating us on our anniversary. We were taken to a corner table in a room that couldve fit 3-4 more tables in it, but it was nice that they spread us all out and gave everyone their privacy. All the menus presented so many options. We had recommendations and didn't regret them. Delicious steak and lamb...appetizers were fair portions, and the bartended pours heavy handed (BONUS!)...we got our money's worth across the board. Randy even popped out to make sure we were all happy and satisfied. We felt celebrated and treat well. Will be back!
Food, atmosphere and service were all EXCELLENT! Our server, Hector, was friendly, courteous, and helpful. It was our 54th wedding anniversary and Randy-we enjoyed talking with Randy- and his staff made is so memorable from seeing our name on the front chalkboard to leaving with a bottle of CAB from Randy.
Delicious food and wonderful service! We will definitely be back!
I loved the thought of a fine dining experience in an dated house. I thought it would have a romantic appeal. The house was a little too outdated and didn’t give the ambiance of fine dining for a steakhouse. The food was average, and the service was so so. The best part was the look of the house from the outside. I personally wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone I know, but worth a try if this is a place you’ve had at the front of your brain.
Randy's is a must visit restaurant. I have been meaning to eat here for many years and never got around to it. I"m glad i finally did and i'll be back again soon.
Made reservations for 2. Show up on time. Had to wait 20 minutes for table. Larger parties kept coming in and they were seated and we were being told they were trying to get a table ready.
When they finally take us to our seat. It is in the back room with quite a few tables. Every table full at least 30-40 people in the room.
Clearly not following the guidelines for operation during covid.
We walked out before service.
Feel bad for the staff who have to work under these conditions. At least we had a choice.
Perfect place for our 1st anniversary dinner! Our server was great, Randy even stopped by our table a few times to check on us! The food was amazing and they gave us a free dessert and bottle of wine to celebrate! Definitely thinking about making this our anniversary tradition! Thanks Randy!
Always a good choice to go to Randy’s
The service and food at Randy's were excellent, as usual. They consistently deliver a top-notch experience.
There were four of us in the group and we all something different. The bone-in-pork chop was outstanding, while the rib-eye's were really good. Side dishes are family style and can serve more that two people, so don't get too many as we did or you will be taking them home in a to go order. Two of us picked the special pricing meals, where you get a stake, side and dessert for $45. The volume of food in the specials in just those three items is enough for two people.
OrderEd the Brie appetizer, blackberry filet, creamed spinach, and bread pudding and everything was phenomenal!
We went to Randy’s for our anniversary and it was fantastic! The food was great, service was excellent, I highly recommend.
An amazing atmosphere and food! Looking forward to our next visit.
Our first time there and it was FABULOUS! We will be back!
Great food and service. Randy himself even came by to say "hi". Very personal and great place to celebrate our anniversary.
We had read very positive reviews of the restaurant, and we were very excited to have a dining experience there. The evening started off well with wonderful bread, and we enjoyed our appetizers, but the main course was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had in a restaurant. The potatoes and cream spinach we ordered were both cold when they reached our table, and the potatoes themselves seemed like packaged frozen potatoes. The steak I was served was almost entirely fat. I probably got three or four actual bites of pure meat out of that piece of steak, and Linda was served five very tiny scallops for $35. All in all, it was incredibly disappointing, and we have no intention of returning.
