Enjoyed our celebratory dinner at Randy's Steakhouse with friends.
The food and service were both good. We were a little disappointed though in the fact that we had told them when making the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. Other than the hostess seating us, no mention of our anniversary was made by anyone else. I guess we expected our waiter to at least acknowledge that we were celebrating a special occasion.
We had a excellent time. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary, our experience at Randy’s Steakhouse made it very special.. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to our friends and famile.
I had the filet mug on and it was terrible, although I said nothing. It was very grainy, tough and burnt on outside. Salad was ok but too much dressing. Baked potato was average; key lime pie, just ok. Server tried and did a good job.
Great steak dinner - the Filet with Blackberry sauce was amazing.
Fun experience. Many options to choose from regarding dinning room and menu.
The food was excellent and the service superb. a very classy place
This is the second year in a row my husband and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary at Randy’s Steak House and the customer service and food has been fantastic! We look forward to going back again!
My dinner at Randy's steak House was excellent. The chef did an excellent job with our meal. The wait staff was also excellent. I can't say enough about the ambience. It was quite, relaxing and intimate. It was the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Randy the owner will stop at your table to say hello and ask how is everything going. He makes everyone feel special.
Not the experience one would expect at the price point. For a $40 steak you would expect top notch service and food, but everything was medicore at best. For these prices you could go to Del Fricos and have a top notch experience.
Food was fantastic, service professional and friendly. Atmosphere quiet and appropriate.
Family from out of town was here.
We always enjoy dining at Randy's. They have never disappointed, whether group, family or special occasion.
There was a knob in our food!
We've dined in a homey dining room at Randy's Steakhouse numerous times in the past. Monday night for my husband's birthday, we were seated in a dated, "garden" dining room. The calamari was bland, the steaks were sub par but we overlooked those issues. The mashed potatoes had a "knob" in them. A large bolt that apparently was a part of the mixer that fell off into the mashed potatoes. The reaction by the manager, who was doubling as the bartender, was to bring us additional potatoes. Clearly, no one knew what to do. They are lucky there was not a lawsuit due to biting into a metal bolt. Not only disgusting but unprofessionally handled. Would not recommend.
Service was great. Food was very good. We had bone-in steak. Great value for the portion size and quality. Will be back again soon.
Had been to Randy's before and loved it. Great food excellent service. So, I took my bride the week of our wedding as a treat. We ended up in a very cramped front room, not at all what I remembered (was told later you have to ask for the back room, so by all means ask if you go). Our waiter was terrible. Didn't know the menu. We overheard an adjoining table (tiny room, remember?) say two sizes of Lobster were available. Our guy only knew the large size, which was just too much money. When my Medium steak came out, it was raw. They took it back and tried again. Raw again. We just took a to-go box and I cooked it myself at home. But service was sub par. Very slow. No presence or explanations. First time I went was a 5-Star experience through-snd-through. This time was a 1-Star without question. Not sure which is the truth or if it is the luck of the draw. Maybe you'll get the 5-Stzr treatment. If so, you will enjoy it.
We came to Randy’s to recreate a memorable event we had there several years ago. It was a huge disappointment. Appetizer was bland, filet was ordered medium rare and when we received it, it was well done. They prepared another and it was adequate. Very expensive for less than mediocre food. The only thing memorable about the evening is that it was not memorable. We will not return.
Great food and great service
The 150-year-old converted house provided a wonderfully unique setting for enjoying the best steak I've ever eaten.
We celebrated a 80th birthday at Randys the other evening. Everything was perfect! Wonderful service and the food was awesome. Thanks Randy!
Great steaks, salad, sides, and desserts in a very unique setting.
Food and service are always spot on. Our waiter, Charles, was excellent.
Amazing restaurant. It was one of the finest meals we have experienced in the Metroplex! Ordering from the Fixed Price Menu was an outstanding value and we so enjoyed every aspect of the three course dinner. Meeting Randy was memorable.
Service was excellent. The steak we had was a little tough for the price of the meat.
Great experience. We went the last hour they were open and we still got their 100% attention. Great quality for the price of their New York Prime Steak.
Are at the bar great friendly service
First, they would do all a favor by offering valet parking.
We sat in the bar for a drink before heading to our table. Cocktail waitress was nice. The bar was ok. The ambiance needs to be updated. We found it to be outdated and the photo over the fake fireplace doesn’t fit the space at all.
The dining room we had dinner was very outdated as well.
The noise level was nice so we could visit. The food was just ok. The potatoes gratin were terrible. Mac n cheese was fair. The bread pudding was awful. Not even warm. We will not return. The outside of the house and grounds are lovely. That’s all-just don’t go inside.
Wasn’t what I expected. Entering the house had a nice feel but we were seating in an addition to the back of the house that was like a typical resteraunt. Service was fantastic. Kasul was our waiter. Good was so so.
Randy’s is always a special treat. The service is excellent and the food amazing. Although we are occasional guests, Randy always greets us as if we are treasured regulars. It was a perfect place to entertain our out-of-town guests.
Experience was fine. First time visiting. The crab cakes were delicious. The steak and prime rib were not seasoned very well. However, they were cooked appropriately. Drinks were fine as well.
Would like to go back and try happy hour.
Food was great and service was good. Was a little loud in the dining room.
We came to celebrate a family birthday, and it was wonderful. Great food, terrific wait staff, wonderful ambiance in the charming, historic house. Everyone agreed that the next celebratory family dinner should be at Randy’s.
We had a great time for our 5th wedding anniversary, we even had to bring our 1 year old daughter and they were very accommodating. It was a great pick for a special occasion.
Our waitress was very pushy to order, and the restaurant was not crowded
No reason to hurry. Steak knives were horrible, could not cut butter with them.
Bake potato was not cooked all the way through.
Friendly informative service. Tasty food and good ambiance.
The only negative was the loud party in the same room, not much could be done and the waiter apologized. This is our favorite restaurant and we will return often.
Very cool old house! One of a kind Steakhouse with amazing service. I would highly recommend going on your birthday because they treat you like gold!
Mother’s Day dinner here was great the food was great staff excellent what more can I say
Great restaurant friendly and quick service, food is excellent
