Randazzo's Little Italy offers an intimate and unique experience in Coral Gables, Florida. Every dish has a history and a personal story behind it. Come to an establishment that truly cares about the food from start to finish, keeping a passion for bringing an inviting atmosphere to the guest that feels like it comes from their own home. Randazzo's continues to cultivate guest satisfaction by staffing its kitchen with chefs trained in the classic sense, keeping tradition alive. A friendly and accommodating front of the house staff drives the experience home by providing concentrated service, whether they're waiting on a regular or a newcomer.
Experience homemade pasta and ravioli, freshly prepared chicken, veal and mouth-watering steaks. If you're into fish, Randazzo's has a vast selection to suit any sensibility. End the afternoon or evening with house made cannoli, tiramisu, or Chicago-style cheesecake.
Had a reservation for 7pm that I confirmed twice. Upon arrival the restaurant was terribly unorganized and the host and manager seemed baffled on how to accommodate a party of five. After waiting an hour past our reservation time we were finally seated. Once we were seated it took an additional 20 minutes to receive menus due to the restaurant having a "menu shortage". When I finally did receive a menu it was covered in pasta from another patron. Overall the service was just horrible. Took forever to get our drink order taken and even longer for them to arrive. The food was fantastic but that is not enough to make up for all the other issues. I chose this restaurant for our carb loading meal as a my mother and I were running the Miami marathon the next day. My parents had flown down from Chicago for the weekend and I was hoping to wow them and show them a great time. Unfortunately all Randazzo's showed them is that the stereotypical bad service in Miami is actually the reality.
As if the history of boxing from the perspective of a world champion boxer himself isn't enough from the photographs of Mark Randazzo's way from the middle of the rankings to the # 1 spot, the man actually does show up just about every night (early on) to make sure that the kitchen is in order and importantly, to meet their guests! The history isn't just his own in any way as the photographic tour and history lesson continues, outside of his own weight class, through his experiences with his world class trainers Lou Duva and Angelo Dundee) and growing up inside the kitchen of his Grandmother. Reading the menu alone can keeping you laughing through an extended period of time but once the unbelievably delicious real-world/world-class appetizers start all the way through the check you'll be delightfully surprised. If you live here, you know but if you're visiting, please go! Early too because you do want to meet Mark!
Amazing dishes. Took my mother for her birthday and she said it is the best restaurant she has ever been to. I will definitely be returning.
Best Italian food in Miami without a doubt..!
If you want a little bit of Little Italy New York in Miami, that's the place to go.
If you like Boxing, and good Italian food, that's the place to go!
Great food at prepared Old School NY way. The portions are fairly large and the menu covers all of the classics. The Sunday Gray dish is awesome as well as the seafood salad. The prices are high for each dish however the portion is almost large enough to share. The menu says there is a sharing charge although I do not know how often it is enforced.
We have been loyal customers of Randazzo's for a couple years. We don't dare try any other Italian reataurant, because we don't want to be disappointed! The food is phenomenal and the service is great!! Our last visit hit the bar again. Recommend the Chicago style calamari and the spaghetti with meatball!
If you are looking for terrific family style Italian food, simple and consistently excellent, look no further. Relaxed atmosphere with good service.
Great food Mark the owner is awesome Michael at front door is great too.
We selected this restaurant because there aren't a lot of real authentic Italian places in South Florida that aren't outrageously expensive. My family (with two boys, age 11 and 9) had a great time, the food was excellent, as was the service and the owner came and personally chatted with us in a non-intrusive way.
I will definitely be going back to Randazzo's Little Italy!
The shocks begin when you open the menu and peruse the prices. Pasta entrees over 30 dollars greet you with shock and awe. The food itself is undistinguished and pretty generic. Inattentive service rounds out the whole mess. Stay far away!
This is our favorite go to restaurant when we crave "Mama's" style of Italian cooking. Features traditional southern Italian cuisine and five star quality and service without the stuffy atmosphere. Favorites: Calamari, house salad, meatballs with sauce, & veal picata. If they have the lasagna on the menu ( it is not a regular item), I always get it. For me it is the best! The ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. Granted there is no "kids" menu, but my grandkids always split a bowl of spagetti so it is never an issue.
Me and my family love this restaurant. The food and service are always top notch.
Our server nick was amazing and the whole staff as well. Very polite and very pleasing. The food was fantastic ! I will definitely be going back. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. This place is hands down a must go to ! When I got there it was very empty and by the end up of the dinner it was a full house so it got a bit loud. Other than that it's a great restaurant !
I imagine that this formerly good, popular place is going out of business. There was no wine list (!?) and the waiter seemed clueless. The food was sad as was the ambience. We were sad for the restaurant - this used to be a festive southern Italian place with solid food. I hope it returns one day.
WHY WOULD YOU SEND ME AN EMAIL ABOUT THIS POINTLESS SURVEY AT 12:20AM?!?! I HAVE TO GET UP FOR WORK AT 5:30 AND NOW I'M AWAKE BECAUSE MY PHONE WENT OFF DUE TO YOUR BRILLIANT IDEA. THANKS A LOT YOU INCONSIDERATE A-HOLES.
Our group of eight had lunch at Randazzo's. The food and service were outstanding. We would definitely go back there.
Great food as always and also very good Service.
Mark Randazzo takes his time visiting all tables and makes his guests feel very welcomed.
The atmosphere is first class, the service is top notch. The food is scrumptious and the portions are very generous. The owner, Marc Randazzo is a class act and understands the importance of the personal touch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We recently visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening. The food came out very quick and warm.
Anytime my wife and I want to experience great dinning we choose Randazzos.
We have been to Randazzos twice now, and love it here. This time we took our son, and he had a blast as well. The food is excellent, the service is also excellent, and the experience extemely enjoyable. We will be back again and again. A great place for Mother's day.
Friendly, Italian through & through restaurant with homemade-tasting food. Not "fine" "fancy" dinning. Basic, enjoyable, tasty, hearty food (at a good value). I especially enjoyed the "basic" spaghetti with sunday gravy (tasty Italian sausage, and delicious homemade meatball). Mangia!!
We have enjoyed going to Randazzo's for years--- devoted fans even before they moved to their new location. Several things this past visit gave us pause: the fromerly delicious bread/peppered olive oil served at greeting was dummied down to a below average bread and very little olive oil in diced peppers, cancelled wine corkage program if you wished to bring a bottle of a special wine, and subtle reduction in ingredients in the entre items we had. We saw the "boss" on premises that night, so it's hard to lay this off on lack of supervision. Don't know if this was a one-off experience or a sign of new changes..... Stay tuned.
The food was great. Our service was very good.
Some places are worth going back to because the food is good, but the service here is consistently awful. Not worth a return.
Wait staff were very poor. Had to request wine list after a long wait, and altho food came pretty quickly, after that the staff disappeared. Would have liked several more glasses of wine but no one came. Finally had to flag down someone to clear. No one offered dessert or coffee. Again had to flag down someone for check and then no one came to take payment. Took it to register myself and when I complained, woman seated nearby spoke up in agreement with me.
The Italian cuisine is very good, very tasty, well prepared and the portions are generous. Interesting decor with lots of boxing and celebrity photos. Service was outstanding.
Music way too loud.
Food decent but extreamly overpriced.
Not romantic, take your buddies not your wife/girlfriend.
Service was average.
Won't be back!
Food was exceptional, Chicken Parm lives up to it's reputation, Meatballs with Sunday sauce is as good as your Grandma's, Calamari appetizer has a zing which you will taste till the next day for you spicy lovers. Get Howard as your server and you will be sure to have a memorable dining experience.
Love the restaurant! The ambiance is fun but quaint. Food was amazing! Chicken parm was so fresh and perfect and the waiter recommended a great wine for us. It was so nice to see the owners helping their staff and checking on each table. Can't wait to come back! Thanks!
This place is amazing, the ambiance, the food, even randazzo himself was so cool. I highly recommend getting the calamari or fried mozzarella for appetizer it was delicious. A must come place at least on a special occasion, cause you won't regret it.
The sharing charge doesn't make since for this category of restuarant. Either reduce the portions or eliminate it! While the food is good, I wouldn't recommend for a family with kids or light eaters.
Charging $12.00 to share a plate is ridiculous.
The pasta was overcooked, it was not good. Need someone checking the before pasta is served for the price you pay.
The Alfredo sauce was okay.
The meatballs were awful, for what they charge. They present these large meatballs that are only 30% meat the rest is bread, no taste on the meatballs.
This is a thumbs down.
We love Randazzo's! Food and service are always excellent. Owner walks around ensuring everyone is having a great time and is satisfied. Highly recommended for some great Italian food.
I have eaten here many times. The food is always good and plentiful. The ambiance great. I enjoy bringing friends. Not a place for people who like a quiet meal.
Great food, fun place!! Always enjoy going there. Nice ambiance. Meatballs are wonderful and do us the veal parmigiana.
Early reservation, nearly every table had a small child which was welcomed since we too had a toddler with us.
My Iphone was stolen, I am pretty convinced an employee did it. They almost got away with also stealing my birthday present but I made a huge deal about that ( it was platinum earrings) and low and behold they appeared. My phone was on the entire time and now it was off. The manager seemed to be indifferent about it. It was the biggest tourist trap, chef boyardee experience. $32 for can food and to be with thugs. It was awful and would not recommend this place to anyone. All these great reviews are extremely questionable. It's GARBAGE!
not pretentious-just fun Italian food served as the god father movie plays in the back ground!
