Ralph's on the Park Ratings and Reviews
Great experience from start to finish. Our server greeted us by name when arriving to the table for the first time, offered fantastic recommendations, taught us the history & inspiration for the traditional New Orleans dishes we ordered, and was always very attentive to the pace of our meal. My wife and I will be returning for another date night soon.
Great Sunday brunch. Nice choices. Food arrived hot and was delicious. Service a bit slow, but they were very busy. Chose this place as it offered jazz piano music, did not hear any in dining room. Discovered you must be in bar to hear the music, which was a bit disappointing.
Other than that, great and our out of town guests loved it.
We live just around the corner from Ralph's and have eaten at this location several dozen times. Unfortunately this meal was not that memorable. The appetizers were fine, tried and true we had the City Park salad and some fried oysters. The turtle soup is wonderful as well. For dinner we had the Visiting fish (Bass) that was fine , not "WoW!" but fine ,we also had the Pompano with a cauliflower sauce. The pompano was over cooked and the sauce was well...bad. Pompano is such a New Orleans dish that messing it up very unfortunate.
As usual the service was great and the building and dinning room are wonderful. I do suggest if it is your first time avoid the Pompano. If you are a regular please keep and eye on the quality as I would hate it if happened again.
We had a very important business meal here at Ralphs and they simply nailed it. Ellen is a spectacular server: attentive, charming, funny, knowing when to pop in during conversation and when to give us space. The food was a hit with the group of out of towners, I had the lamb dish which was outstanding. The view of the park was amazing. This is a neighborhood gem we are lucky to have in Mid City, perfect for all occasions. Thank you all!
We dined on Sunday brunch for our anniversary. Our entire experience was just right. We enjoyed a delicious meal with beautiful scenery and an excellent wait staff. Even the small touches were noticed and made our experience special. We look forward to future special occasions at Ralph’s on the Park.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, always interesting drink specials. I like that they have a charity special drink most days, where 20%! of the proceeds go to a chosen charity, usually in a theme with the drink. And speaking of drinks, Tito is a fantastic bartender, great personality and service.
We were celebrating a family birthday and Ralph's was perfect. We had a great view of City Park & the cocktails were creative and delicious. We went for restaurant week but ended up also ordering from the menu. We had the salad which was good but nothing "special"..Just crisp greensand house made dressing which was good. The star was the grilled drum cooked just right , moist and seasoned carefully. The desert was sponge cake that was a little dry but the berries on top were fresh and sweet. I loved the atmosphere, the food was excellent but not stunning. And we had a great view of the park.
