The food and atmosphere were very good. My wife and I were there for our anniversary, and our waitress Desiree really helped make it a memorable evening. We will go back.

My date and I shared the steak dinner for two. It was not a good value. The menu stated 22oz steak, I thought I was ordering a boneless steak, but the bone in the steak weighed at least 10oz. This was not a good value, not much edible meat. I will go back but not for the steak.

This may be the perfect restaurant. Excellent service as usual, the food was amazing ( get the rabbit jaegershnitzel), social but not super loud. Spectacular, Ralph’s always delivers.

The view alone is worth having a meal there. We only had some appetizers, but everything was delicious. The service was impeccable. Very romantic date night for a couple married 36+ years.

Brunch menu needs an update. The brunch menu items have been the same for the past 3 years. Bring back the endless mimosas during special occasions like Easter sunday, New Years eve, etc. Our server was very polite and professional however she lacked in the service area. Very slow.

Wanted a restaurant for not only good food, but a place our friends from Europe would get to appreciate it’s local flavor and away from the craziness of the French Quarter. It more than accomplished our expectations. One in our party was celebrating his birthday which we were not aware until that night, so our server, Nicole, surprised him with a dessert with a candle. We all felt the restaurant was a wonderful experience.

We were just of the American Queen River boat and had a choice of this restaurant and several others. We chose this one and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, Service beyond compare, and the atmosphere very conducive for a romantic evening with my lovely wife. It was the perfect end for our 8 day cruise.

I love Ralph's for dinner. A little disappointed in brunch. Brunch didn't show off the chef's expertise. Cost of brunch was equivalent to dinner costs.

Our first visit to Ralph’s was after Celebration in the Oaks in City Park. We scored reservations for 6 with OpenTable for 9:30 and arrived to a packed house. We had to wait a little longer for our table, but considering that every table was filled with people celebrating the holiday and they brought us some boudin balls, the extra few minutes was no big deal.

Once seated, we started with the Steak Tartar, which I endeavor to sample whenever I find it on the menu. We shared it among the table with the boudin balls. Both appetizers were delicious and we moved on to soups and salads. The Turtle Soup is a signature dish here and did not disappoint. The Cream of Mushroom was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the wedge salad was up to par.

Our entrees were all amazing, but standouts included the Rabbit Jaegerschnitzel and the Cowboy Ribeye for Two. If you have any appreciation for rabbit, then this dish is a must.

Due to our late start, we closed down the restaurant, but managed to squeeze in the Chocolate Doberge for dessert along with some of the best coffee (French Press) that accompanied it perfectly.

If you want a fine dining experience when you’re near City Park, definitely give Ralph’s some serious consideration.

Waitress tried many times to rush us and had zero personality. We got the Cowboy Steak and it had to be one of the worst steaks I have ever had. To the point that the meat tasted fake. Total rip off for $60. Quality was terrible. The potatoes au gratin had zero flavor. It was just like a mush of cheese. The Cobia was very small for $28. We have dined here many times and each times it seems things go down. We had been there the day before for brunch and our oysters and fish were cold. The steak experience will be our last. We will not be back and most likely not to any Brennan's restaurants. Quality is not what it used to be at these restaurants.

The restaurant previously had a rotating menu with several small plates that we always loved to try. The new menu was a bit lackluster in my opinion and the same thing I expect at many lower quality restaurants. The small plates had been reduced to "oysters" and "toast" plates - neither of which appealed to me. The fish seemed to be very plain jane versions of fish I can find throughout the city. All the food was good, just felt the restaurant wasn't as great as I used to find it. My parents shared the cowboy ribeye and found it to be a good steak, but not great. My husband had the jaegerschnitzel rabbit, and found it wanting. We may be finding a new holiday tradition to share with my parents next year.

I chose Ralph's to celebrate my husband's impending retirement, just the two of us, raising a glass, but alas the food was mediocre, which was very disappointing, since Ralph's was to my mind a dependable sure bet. The baked oysters were watery and tasteless and the lemon cheesecake sat atop a gummy biscuit without flavor. Our entrees were a little better, but not fabulous. I won't be returning, and this is very sad. The ambiance of Ralph's is still tops, though, and I will forever recommend a drink at their bar.

We were on time for lunch reservations and seated promptly. We were immediately offered drinks, and the bells on the table were a nice touch. The menu was fresh, clean, and if there was not enough innovation there, the house specials certainly had it. Corinne's service was friendly and efficient, without being pretentious. The meal was perfectly paced. I heard only praise, no complaints at any time from my guests, other than perhaps that the ambiance was a little "festive" for a Thursday. I had the turtle soup au sherry, as good as anywhere around the city, the oysters rockerfeller rice special, and the bread pudding with bourbon sauce and pecan praline ice cream. While it seemed the portion was light, I did not get around to eating dinner until nearly 9 that night. The rockerfeller was a wonderful, innovative, and delectable flavor combination.

Our annual holiday friends' lunch is usually downtown, but we chose Ralph's this time, and it worked out very well, as people were coming from different locations. Our server was excellent (sorry I can't remember her name!) - she handled 7 women very professionally and courteously - even offered to split the check 7 ways, as soon as we sat down, so there was no confusion later - a very nice touch. Most of us had the day's specials, and all were excellent. My only personal complaint is that there is no still Rose on the menu, but that's easily overcome. We'll probably be back next year.

The service was excellent. We both had the City Park Breakfast, bacon not crispy, eggs not completely cooked, the white underneath was still clear and runny on both plates. Very loud crowd. Coffee excellent. I would go back to give the restaurant a second chance, but would not at this time recommend breakfast. They gave us an extra that was a redfish spread on a small crispy bread which was very good. We also had strawberry sorbet which was excellent.

My husband and I had a destination wedding in New Orleans on December 2nd. We did not get alot, if any, time to ourselves until the Tuesday afternoon after and we left Thursday afternoon to go back to Chicago. I wanted to plan a special dinner for us for our last night in town and out of all our trips we hadn't really had a chance to experience City Park yet so I thought this would be the perfect place for us and they did not disappoint!!

We were seats immediately and our server, Malory, welcomed us with a glass of champagne which was very nice. My husband had a cup of the gumbo and I tried the Parmesan oysters. My husband said the gumbo was one of the best he had and the oysters were absolutely delicious. For our main course, I had the filet with shrimp and my husband had the tuna with crab. There was an issue with my husband's meal and Malory immediately was so apologetic and corrected it and the Manager, David, came over and apologized as well. We completely understand that issues happen sometimes, it's all about how the restaurant responds and I there's no way we could have asked for a better response than what we received. It was absolutely more than we expected. At the end of the meal and as a surprise we received 4 of their deserts which were absolutely awesome!

We honestly could not have asked for a better last meal in NOLA to celebrate the end of our wedding trip. Thank you so much to Malory and David, everything was amazing, the food/ drinks and service. I recommend anyone visit for a memorable experience. We are already planning a trip back to NOLA to celebrate our anniversary and this will definitely be one of our stops!!

Had some glitches with our meal service, but it was a busy Saturday night and we had a table of 8. A complimentary drink or dessert for those in our party who had to wait longer on their food would've been a nice gesture. The food was excellent tho.

We usually have a great meal at Ralph's, but my meal was disappointing. The oysters Parmesan appetizer was bland so I only ate two of the six oysters. Also I love the thin fries with aioli sauce and I was very disappointed with the thick steak frites . Also too bad the butternut squash bisque wasn't on the menu
