Live music is great. Servers are friendly. Hostesses need a lot of work. Food is OK; wasn't as great as the last time I visited. Seafood wasn't as fresh and dishes were salty.
Best service ever!! Gotta get the Garlic bread, jumbelia and benjas with raspberry sauce.
Requested an early dinner reservation, hardly anyone in dining room, our table and one other, all with adults and the hostess sits a young family with 2 small children right next to our table, when they could have sat the children across the room. So instead of a relaxing dinner we had to listen to small children not being quieted by their parents!
Must eat here during the live music if you are wanting a fun dinner experience! (In Downtown Disney)
I love Jazz Kitchen!! Best steak medallions I’ve ever had on numerous occasions. I had just had the filet minon at Napa Rose the night before and it didn’t even compare to the steak at Jazz Kitchen. Forever a fan! Will always come back.
We went for our anniversary and I made a reservation days in advance. I noted that it was our anniversary and that I wanted to sit by the live music! Upon arriving, we were greeted nicely and then lead to the one sad lonely table right next to the bathrooms.. the bathrooms!!! Why would they think we would want to sit next to the bathrooms to celebrate our anniversary?? This was no where near the music sadly. We asked to be moved, maybe the patio? Once seated outside I felt a bit better about the situation. A bit disappointed that we weren’t able to be by the music. This was our first time here so we really wanted to get the full experience. The free champagne and dessert was a nice gesture.
I good food and atmosphere. We ate on the balcony overlooking Downtown Disney. Good view
Nice place food good but pricey for the product. Service was average
Went on a Wed nite. Had reservations but still had to sit on lower level outside on front patio next to the mini jazz kitchen which felt like we were there instead of real restaurant-we weren’t given a choice. Other than that, good service. But do ask to sit upstairs if you really want the dining experience that it offers. Otherwise you get the a Disney ambiance. I ordered the Rosemary Chicken. Didn’t read carefully enough because it’s breaded. A bit dry but good flavor. I substituted the red potatoes for crawfish mashed potatoes-SO glad I did!!! They are excellent. I should have ordered a side. They had a really good rose tea that was yummy. My friend ordered the mango salmon and ate every drop-loved it. The waitress was nice but we were a bit neglected (I felt it was due to where we were seated) I love this restaurant and the white cloth napkins and upstairs you get a white tablecloth. It feels fancy. Try it, you’ll like it. I’m going to go back. It’s a bit pricey but hey everything at Disney is!
The hostess was very polite and accommodating, the girl that sat us was very young and rude-clearly didn’t like her job. Our waitress was great, she was super helpful and attentive, really cool personality. The food was amazing-we all loved our dishes. Great kids menu and the drinks were also great. Loved the music, would go back here over n over again.
Went for my wife’s birthday! Pretty good food, but the live music from Kirk Andre Wilson made the the entire experience that much better!
The food was delicious, they sat us down right away. The bananas foster is my absolute favorite at Ralph’s Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen
Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food in Downtown Disney!
Best restaurant in downtown Disney
Awesome flavor and service! Great location. Easy to make a reservation.
Fish tasted fishy.
Met my son and daughter here for dinner and it was great! My husband had the jambalaya, I had the rosemary chicken and my daughter had the catfish! All dishes were fantastic but that catfish was AMAZING! We sat upstairs so the noise level was minimal but next time I would like to sit downstairs and hear the jazz music! The service was very good also! I can’t wait to come back!
This was my 1st wedding anniversary and the entire evening from the food to the service to the music was 5 star. We will definitely be back
We always make it a point to eat here. Every time is a great experience.
You have to get the bananas foster table side service...it completes the dining experience
Had visited Brennan's at Downtown Disney a couple of months ago. Two kids three adults two children. Sat outdoors then. We're inside this time. Piano player added to the ambiance. We had blackened salmon (a hit) fried chicken, which was very good, garlic cheese bread, calamari appetizer. Tables were elbow to elbow a bit tight. Server was very accommodating especially with the kids. Not cheap but enjoyed it nevertheless.
Best food I've had! Always come back when I'm in the area.
Ashley was so kind and accommodating! We always love going here. Must go place if you’re visiting Disneyland.
I lived in New Orleans so it was fun to go and eat with friends, would of liked to see Blue Crab Claws sauced in butter and garlic and parsley. I forgot to order the fried green tomatoes which i was really looking forward to eating ! lol
Thanks for all,
Went for our anniversary and the waiter Brandon was wonderful. Not pushy, and attentive to our needs. We planned to get dessert later in the evening in downtown Disney, but he surprised us with the delicious beignets! Thanks for a lovely evening.
Not really a restaurant problem—- but where we were sitting and time of day forced us to leave sunglasses on and shield from sun exposure. Food and service was above excellent!
This was a reservation I made for the son of a co-worker and his date, for dinner before their prom. My ratings are based on his comments. They had a great, great time and the staff treated the kids especially nicely. He has been there previously wit his family. He loves the place.
The food is overpriced and even though it used to be great and totally worth paying such high prices, it has gone down in quality significantly over the last couple years. My wife and I last went here about 3 years ago and every item we got was delicious and we’ll prepared. This time, everything seemed like they were just trying to pump out dishes quick and didn’t really care about providing a quality meal. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was worth anywhere close to the amount they were charging (or even half the price if we’re being honest), so that’s why I can’t justify more than 2 stars. The only thing that was worth it was the bread pudding, but it isn’t near enough to make us want to go back here. I don’t think this is a problem exclusive to Ralph Brennan’s. We’ve noticed that everywhere in Disneyland and Downtown Disney has taken a dive in terms of the food quality and overall service recently. It’s really quite sad. It used to be such a great place.
The food was excellent. There was a piano player who was so good. Try the potato salad and the beignets!! It was pricy but worth it for the food.
Very over priced for the quality of food. Be prepared to spend about $30 per person. Venue is very noisy, not the place to be after a noisy day at Disneyland. Food is overly spiced. I get it that this is a creole restaurant, but throwing a lot of spices at so so food does not make it better. We have lived in SoCal for 40 years and have gone to Disneyland/Downtown Disney hundreds of times and this was our first and last time at Ralph Brennan’s. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Great service, great atmosphere, love the music. Customer service was great
Amazing seats & it was a good way to spend mothers day with my grandma. Wine selection was amazing & food was so delicious!!
Food arrived cold, service was below par. Good location but after this experience we will not be returning
It is a very nice dining experience in the middle of the chaos that is Downtown Disney. The food is good, reasonably priced and the service is very good. It can get very loud.
A fun restaurant to visit to enjoy lively New Orleans style jazz music. The food is typical of a tourist restaurant and on the pricier side. The service is good considering how very busy the restaurant gets. The live music is primarily in one room and not accessible to the customers in the rest of the restaurant. The room gets very busy so reservations are a must. A fun choice for a birthday celebration or night out with friends.
Our beautiful waitress Sarah made our experience top notch! She provided incredible feedback on requested dishes and offered pairings for a perfect meal. She definitely made Mother's Day and a Birthday special.
The Catfish St.Charles and Boudin balls are the best.
Service was prompt and friendly! The food was so delicious and came to our table nice and warm. Such a great restaurant with delicious food! We will definitely be revisiting this place more frequently on our Disneyland dates.
Delicious food. Spectacular service. Great music. Pricey, but to be expected. Perfect place to relax after spending all day on our feet.
