The food was amazing! There was a love band that made the experience spectacular! The staff was super friendly and I would totally go again !
The overall atmosphere is very good and I would come back. The jambalaya is subpar for the price. The catfish is good. Our server is great.
THEY NEVER LET US DOWN, SERVICE, FOOD ALWAYS EXCELLENT! HAD JD FOR A WAITER, A TRUE PRO! REALLY ENJOY THE UPSTAIRS DINING AREA, LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK SOON WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
We dinned inside , music was great. Our server Lindsey was awesome.
Was amazing night :)
It was our granddaughters birthday and the gentleman that plays the piano did a beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday for her. It was great!!
We always eat here when we visit Disney. Love Ralph Brennan’s!
Food and service from Sarah our waitress was great. Ambiance was nice and lively. Band was good. We were told a trio comes by to play in the upstairs rooms but never saw them the 2 1/2 hours we were there. Otherwise definitely will return.
We went Ralph Brennan's for our son's birthday and we had a wonderful experience! The customer service was excellent and food is Delicious! If you haven't been I highly recommend going!
Live music was great the service was amazing and the food was so delicious
My reservation was honored as soon as I arrived. The live music was entertaining but a little loud because we were seated right next to the stage. The food was great. My steak was cooked perfectly. They also validate parking.
Birthday and anniversary
For a tourist-area restaurant, Ralph Brennan's was surprisingly good. We were seated in the upstairs formal dining room. Service and food were very good. The entertainment -- a jazz duo -- provided just the right amount of atmosphere. We would return.
Ralph Brennan’s is where my wife and I go for special occasions. The food is outstanding, as is the live music.
I will definitely come back. Lived in Louisiana for many years and this brought back fond memories. Great food, great service. :-)
The best place to dine in downtown disney
Food quality is more than very average for the price. The price for their pudding is just ridiculous. I will never go to this place again.
Ralph Brennan's is great for quality food and experience. Our dinner was out of this world, and the service was unmatched. Will go again very soon.
We had delicious food and a great server. The hostess who greeted us was not as friendly as I would expect at Disney— she was a bit surly- seemed like she was having a bad night or just not interested. Our dining table was also the only one on the patio that had no table linen which was a bit difficult with our wine glasses. But food and server were excellent.
We were finally able tot return to Brennans after 5 years. It was a regular stop when we annual pass holders for Disneyland. Job changes and Disneys massive increases forced us away. Tried going just to Brennans for my wife birthday 5 years ago and just couldn't afford it. Being able to bring my wife for her birthday this year was a treat. The food was just as good as we remember and the service was the same friendly down south hospitality you expect. We had the calamari appetizer and it was properly done, served hot and delicious. My wife had the Blackened Chicken Mac and Cheese and sitting across the table the aroma form the dish I knew it must be good. I tasted her chicken and it was moist, tender and very flavorful. I had the Crescent City Chicken and the complexity of the flavors was quite a surprised welcomed on. The only thing I changed was I substituted the Crawfish Mashed Potatoes for the Garlic, one of my favorite. I loved the dish the only thing I might add is something (a sauce) for the Potatoes. Desert? They have so many good ones but there is one thing you CAN NOT get anywhere else in SoCal done properly ,Beignets. The simplest of desserts on the menu but once you have one done right donuts are a vision in the past. Darin Finkel the executive chef has a crew that knows what to do and I can not remember but maybe once or twice that I had to reach for any seasoning to add and that is the sign of someone who knows what they are doing. We will return probably next January NAMM and wife's Birthday.
My wife and I kids here for a family meal while they were in town. We used to bring them Downtown Disney when they were little, so it brought back good memories. The food and atmosphere were really good, though a little pricey. The waitress was a pleasure. The only drawback was my daughter didn’t have many vegetarian options on the menu.
Our server was top notch very attentive noise level was a little bit high did have a live musician which was very nice food came out hot restaurant accommodated us when we added two more guests always good we will be back.
Nancy our server was fabulous. The dinner and ambiance were the best part of the trip to Disneyland
Was great! Great timing on drinks, appetizers, salads and thru to dessert
Music was wonderful and their Cajun wings are a great way to start your meal.
Had a great time celebrating a birthday. Food was good, music was good, service was good. We will go back again when we have the chance!
We dined at Brennan's Jazz Kitchen twice during our week at Disneyland. Both times our server was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. Food options were good and accommodated my dietary restrictions.
Would love a few healthier options for table sharing and appetizers.
Music is a plus, we love the live entertainment and the Louisiana feel. You should have Absinthe available for those who want the New Orleans vibe. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.:)
Good meal, started out very strong, ended with a whimper. Server greeted us right away, took drink orders and returned quickly with drinks. At that time took our order which included Boudin balls as appetizer, Etoufe soup, green goddess salad for starters, then Shrimp, and grits and Black and blue filet for entrees. Oddly enough, appetizer was served along with the soup and salad...so not really and appetizer at all. All three were excellent! Server continued to check in and refilled beverages and all was great save the timing of serving the appetizer along with the soup and salad. Then entrees were served...server checked in very quickly after entrees were served then ghosted us for at least 30 minutes. The steak was fine, perfectly acceptable, nothing special. The shrimp was most definitely not fresh...while the grits were tasty, the shrimp, was so off tasting and tough...we looked for the server but as mentioned was no where to be found for 30 minutes...and yes we could have stopped another server to ask for him, but 10 minutes into eating we just decided it was easier to split the steak rather than try to get a new entree to replace shrimp. When server finally came back to ask about desert, we made comment of the shrimp dish which was almost untouched and that went right over his head. We declined desert, for the check, paid and left. Could have been a great dinner but unfortunately wasn’t.
Update: Manager read this review and reached out to make things right! Kudos to Chris for his customer service and we will definitely try this restaurant again when we are in SoCal again.
It was busy but we got our food in a timely manner.
We had an early reservation specifically so we could be seated overlooking the courtyard. Instead we were seated at a table near the kitchen -I can’t understand why they would seat a party there given that all the tables were empty! While the rest of our service was good, there seem to be confusion about ingredients and allergies. Food was good, but not great...not sure I would come here again.
Very delicious and nice to sit outside on a nice evening. Cool fountain at the entrance.
Fantastic dinner and jazz!!
We enjoyed the live music. A fun place to have a meal.
Great New Orleans food and great service! Had a great time, server, Jose was GREAT!
Staff was excellent, service exceptional, food was delicious. We enjoyed an outstanding evening at Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. It was a wonderful way to kick off the new year.
Paul was our server, and made sure all of our orders were brought out promptly with minimal wait time. From the drinks (wine, Southern Peach Sweet Tea, wine, water), to the appetizers (Garlic Cheese Bread and Boudin Balls), to dinner (Jambalaya, burger and salmon), and dessert (Bread Pudding and cobbler), everything was perfect for our New Year’s Eve! Have been here before, and will again make a return visit.
Was a family vacation in Disneyland the restaurant was very accommodating
