I had always wanted to dine at Raindancer because of its reputation. The bar area is nice and very old school steakhouse. Nice bar staff and decent drinks. We got a booth for dinner. We ordered the escargot. Terrible. Over cooked so they tasted like hot, tasteless mushrooms! Our server was nice and we were not charged for our starter. I ordered a porterhouse ($52) medium. Half the steak was medium the rest more like medium rare to rare. My girlfriend had the lobster tail and filet. Both were very good. Sides are big enough to share. Overall, not worth the money. For $52you would think they would know how to cook a decent steak! Won’t go back.
Warm welcome. On the ball server. Flavors of Palm Beach menu...excellent four course menu. Great Value.
Unbelievable Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mousse cake for desserts.
Excellent Flavor Palm Beach menu. Always good food. Our waitress Susie was terrific. We'll continue to dine here.
First time at restaurant, seated quickly as we had a reservation, service was excellent, food was prepared as requested and had a delicious flavor. Definitely recommend.
Carl and his staff took great care of us. From welcome to good night, everything was top shelf. Our first visit, but certainly not our last!
New Owners doing a good job, keeping quality at a high level.
They made my grandma’s 80th birthday special!
After reading reviews, our party of 5 was looking forward to experiencing a hidden gem. Instead we all experienced great disappointment. We had all intended to take advantage of the Palm Beach Dining menu, but my wife and I decided instead to step up to the Cowboy Steak - and share it. This steak wasn’t bad, but for the price was far from great. I particularly was unhappy with $10 sharing charge - for which we got an extra potato. It was not even plated in the kitchen. Our dining companions ordered off the promotional menu, and fared much worse. The rib eye steak was extremely thin, reminiscent of Applebee’s, making cooking it properly very difficult. One of our party received a raw steak, which they replaced. The replacement was well done, and contained more salt than meat. Another member of our group went from well done to raw on round two - and her plead to omit the salt were ignored. She ended up eating nothing, and when asked by the manager how her meal was, she responded “inedible”. His response was “oh”. No effort to rectify anything was made, and no adjustment to the bill was offered. I would suggest that participating grudgingly in a promotion is counter productive, as three couples and anyone we speak with will not be visiting this establishment.
Seafood wasn’t up to par and management immediately offered any thing on the menu as replacement. And took car of our wine.
It is nice to see service at this level in a high end Resturant
Walking into this restaurant is like walking into one of the old traditional steakhouses of yesterday. Very nostalgic looking but very elegant and classy. The staff, including management was on top of everything. Great service, wonderful food and an overall great experience. We met one of the owners who was just delightful to chat with. All they care about is making the customer happy. It is a winner for sure!
Unbelievably good Flavor palm beach deal with amazing g food and service. Their other deals seem amazing as well - hope to make this my new go to neighborhood restaurant and steakhouse. Best value in years!
Went for flavor of palm beach, was terrific. All enjoyed the menu items and meal. Good service and great food. Ribeye was small but tasty, fillet of beef was wonderful.
Let me start off by saying that I really wanted to like this restaurant. I’ve driven past this restaurant and wanted to check it out for some time now. Since we had the day off to celebrate our anniversary, we decided to have the taste of Palm Beach lunch. The moment we walked in it did not feel Inviting . We weren’t offered a wine list or bread and noticed that other tables were given that option. I kept it simple by ordering a burger but the bun was burnt to a crisp. I asked for it to be replaced and it came back barely toasted. The burger and other ingredients soaked through the bun, what a mess. I gave a 3 star review because My husband did enjoy his meal. However, I ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was super soggy and soaked in syrup. I tried My husbands creme brûlée and it had a really hard and thick sugar coating. I decided not to change desserts and told the waiter how disappointing it was. We will not be visiting again.
Went for Flavors Palm Beach menu. Dinner was Outstanding!! Three side dishes for $20 was a wonderful addition.
Visited because of Flavors of Palm Beach special. Service was great, food was delicious. Will return and bring more friends!
Our food was delicious & service was outstanding!!
I have been going to Raindancer since I was a child and I am happy to say that it is still the same. Good food, good service and cozy atmosphere. I took my children here for the first time over the weekend and they enjoyed it as well. It is nice to know that it has survived the test of time.
Went for Flavor Palm Beach. Outstanding four course meal. Great server. The filet was mouth watering.
This was our first visit to Raindancer. We were a little skeptical because of the outside appearance. But don’t judge a book by its cover. The steaks were as good, if not better, than any steakhouse in Palm Beach County. The service was fantastic and the attention that we received from management was outstanding. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend Raindancer.
Returned to Raindancer Steakhouse because we enjoyed it so much a few weeks ago. Everything delicious and our waiter, Bobby, was so cordial and attentive to our needs.
My husband enjoyed his steak but my salmon was dry and I couldn’t eat it my Soninlaw had a steak & was not happy I know we should have sent both back but it was my husbands birthday & didn’t want to spoil it
First time going to raindance for my anniversary loved the food very well prepared wait staff provided excellent service I will definitely be back.
Very good food and service. Salad bar was good. My steak cooked as ordered.
Can’t say enough about the food and service.
We had a great time. The shrimp and brussels sprout appetizers were to die for. Steaks cooked to perfection, a warm pink center and then there were the desserts. Chocolate mousse & bread pudding... Highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
I had not been to Raindancer's in quite a while. It was as delicious as always. The staff tries very hard to please. The filet mignon is the best!!
Stellar Service and awesome meal
Interesting place but the food was just ok. Service was good.
Recommend mining here
Food is very good, served differently than expected. "Escargot in a puff pastry", I thought it would come IN the pastry, it's laid on top. Great cheese & salad bar!! I also ordered Red velvet chocolate lava cake with raspberry drizzle. Assumed it would come with chocolate lava, it did not. Overall experience was really good, manager came to the table to introduce himself being it was our 1st visit.
Really enjoyed dinner here on a Friday night. My friend said the prime rib was best he had ever had. Everyone was friendly. Please was pretty dead for a Friday. Super quiet.
The crab cake appetizer was delicious. The service from our water ( bobby) was very good! Do not order a cocktail off of the menu..I ordered a tom Collins and it came with now simple syrup added, no club soda..and very little lemon juice.
The physical plant was off too..it was very bright...and the salad bar seemed out of place. I don’t know what it used to be...but I don’t recommend it now
The appetizers were great... The service was great... My steak had ZERO flavor. Almost like it was marinated in water.
Took my wife out for graduation dinner. I ordered the burger knowing that I do not get a salad bar my wife ordered entree which came with salad bar so as she got up to go to the salad bar she asked me if I would join her as I'm approaching the salad bar with my wife the waiter yells across the room sir you don't get a salad bar I was completely appalled by this action and all I could think about was that and I was supposed to enjoy a relaxing night with my wife and her celebrating. also on top of that I left a $20 tip to compensate for the $20 meal certificate my wife received for graduation and the man never came back to tell me thank you or anything I rate this place at a low 0...completely unprofessional and I wish I had not spent my money there thank you have a great day also I've lived here my entire life and always I hear how great and upper scale the raindancer is...well years of hype...I must have brought my wife late...
My husband and I decided to try a new place for our anniversary and Raindancer ended up being an excellent choice. The staff there is very professional and accommodating. The food was wonderful and we will definitely be back.
Another Great Experience and that is why we love Raindancer. We went for 4th of July special dinner menu dinner they had for 4th.
They actually offered it the whole week 1 - 8 July. FOUR (4) Course Dinner for $35 You cant beat that comparing the quality and amount of food. Shrimp Cocktail, Salad, Entree and Dessert. WOW The Entrees were 8oz Filet, Salmon and BBQ Ribs (first time in years). We made a reservation for 2 and we ended up 3.
We had 2 BBQ ribs that were AWESOME and a Dry Aged Porterhouse which we asked them to slice it.
It was a great experience from the moment we were greeted at the door all the way to saying Goodnight to us while exiting on our way out. Everybody was attentive. We will be back.
Very good meal.
A very good experience for those looking for an elegant and nice quiet quality time, away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the chain or themed restaurants that serve mediocre food at inflated prices. It has several separate dining and bar areas so the bar can be livelier while the main dining area is calmer.
We typically go to Raindancer every couple months or so. Great food as always. We got there, we were promptly greeted by Carl, and seated at a comfortable table.
Ordered some nice wine and apps- the escargot, and the jumbo crab cocktail. Both were very good, but the crab was over and above. Super fresh, nice presentation, and what a big portion did it come in! Walked over to the salad bar. It is well-stocked, not overly extensive, but it has all the fresh items and cheeses you need to get yourself a good accompaniment to your main courses. Entree selections were the bone-in NY, and the large Ribeye. Ordered these Pittsburgh-style, medium-rare. Both came in perfectly prepared.
Our server was super attentive and even though he's only been working there some 5 months, he was well-versed on the specials and on the menu. I've always considered the mark of a good server he/she who often looks towards your table, regardless of where in the restaurant he/she may be, in case you need help with anything.
This visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Carl learned about this, and came over with complimentary after-dinner drinks, as well as a gift card for a future visit. Unexpected, but really the mark of a true fine-dining restaurateur!
Needless to say, we shall be back. Thank you Carl and the Raindancer staff, for a wonderful anniversary dinner.
The 70's are calling and they want their steakhouse back. The décor looks 1970's original, including the gross carpeting. The steaks were tasty, although we both had to send ours back, as they were underdone. I ordered MR and it came out raw. My mom ordered medium and it was rare. Once they threw them on the fire, they returned to our liking. The salad bar is a definite throwback to another era. The concept of a salad bar can survive a trip into the 21st century if the ingredients are updated, but these were just dated. The experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth a special trip.
We went for Father’s Day. The food was great. The service was excellent. We had a bottle of Silver Oak - great wine selection, very reasonably priced. It did take a while for our food to arrive, but it was Father’s Day and they were very busy. We weren’t in a hurry, so it wasn’t an issue for us. I wouldn’t want to go to a nice steakhouse if I were in a rush, anyway. Owner & staff were very friendly. We were on vacation, otherwise, we would probably be making our next reservation, soon.
