We have been going to Raindancer for 40 years and the decor has changed very little in that time. I wish it was a little less gloomy but overall the food is good and the service excellent. We had stopped going there for about five years since we had a few poor experiences prior to that but I recently read that management had changed so we gave it one more try. It was good like we remembered it but I just wish they would update the interior.
We had our wedding reception here and we try to visit at least once a year, never disappoints!!
Good food, good service, social distancing outdoors.
Dinner was delicious and service was very attentive.
Raindancer never disappoints since the new management has taken over.
Great place to have an incredible meal, with first class service and food. Highly Recommended.
Food was excellent and the service was awesome!!!
From the bar service before dinner and throughout the evening the service and food quality were excellent
This was our first time out to a public restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic. We were extremely pleased that there was social distancing within the seating of the dining room. The waitstaff wore masks and gloves which also eased our minds. The service was perfect and the steaks were absolutely delicious. This was a great experience for a first time out in a public restaurant. We definitely look forward to going back.
Great steaks cooked perfectly. Very attentive waiter. Manager visited the table twice to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
Wasn't what I expected, the food was par. Service was good.
Raindancer never disappoints with its service and food.
We were staying in Singer Island for the weekend celebrating 3 birthdays and decided to go to a nice steakhouse. We were very impressed. The food and service were excellent. We will be recommending to our friends. Thank you for making it a special night for my "50th"
Very charming. The waiter was attentive but not always hovering. Our food was delicious. The cocktails were perfectly done. My only complaint is that I'd prefer a small basket of rolls instead of one being put on a plate in front of me.
A true Florida classic! It’s like an old school steakhouse. Ambient lighting, cozy booths and just a throwback to when steakhouses were a little darker, a little more quiet. Personally, I love this atmosphere and it’s such a nice change from all the noise and eclectic menus. The food was outstanding - every bit as good as a high end steak chain - if not BETTER. There were 7 of us and all steaks were cooked to perfection. There are a variety of foods on the menu, but it is mainly steak and seafood. Appetizers were good as well as dessert. Our waitstaff could not have been nicer, and we didn’t have to wait for anything. The owner even came to say hello and check on us. During this time of a Covid, they are social distancing, wearing masks, plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere. Felt totally safe there. If you’re a Floridian and haven’t been in a while - GO!
Excellent food and ambience. I really enjoyed the filet medallions with shrimp and my wife enjoyed the special of the night which was Seabass.
I usually love Raindancer. This was my first time back since this whole covid thing began. Our waiter wore a mask but it was better covering his chin than anything else. That was not such a big deal for us but it should be. I arrived first for the host to not want to seat me but have me sit at the bar (which I thought wasn’t allowed but maybe it is). Waiter asked me my drink order as expected. I got my drink as expected. My friend arrived minutes later. The waiter never asked her if she wanted a drink. Our dinner orders were NOT properly cooked. At no point did the waiter check on how our meal was. Not did he ever ask about her drink order or the refill of mine despite me pushing the empty glass to him at the edge of the table. Never checked on ANYTHING. We had to flag down other waitstaff to help us. Plates sat obviously finished for unreasonably extended periods of time before he checked on us. Never asked about desert, coffee or any other drinks. He easily could have increased his tab by $50-75 had he made any effort at all.
Friendly seemed happy we were dining With their establishment
Friends and I decided on dinner out at the last minute and decided to try Raindancer after not being able to get reservations at a nearby Steakhouse that we frequent. The arrival greeting, courteous wait staff and atmosphere were all welcoming. Appetizers and meals were all prepared as ordered and everyone left there pleased that we visited. The food is excellent. We will return
The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Try the slab bacon appetizer. It will tantalize your tastebuds. Mmmm!
Always a great meal ! Had the Filet Mignon it was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!
The only reason we went here was because they have outdoor seating and prime rib on the menu.
They allow smoking on their patio. Gross. If we knew that we wouldn't have come here.
They weren't serving prime rib, which was also disappointing.
We sent back one steak, the delmonico, because it tasted of perfume. The owner tried to explain it's because it is a dry-aged steak. I've had dry-aged steaks at some of the best steakhouses in the country and that isn't what a dry-aged steak is meant to taste like. The dry-aged bone-in cowboy ribeye was much better but still far from what I'd consider a great steak.
Service was good. Salad dressings were good. Cocktails were not well executed. Desserts were large but just ok. Unfortunately, we won't be back, and truthfully, we would have gone to a neighboring steakhouse if they had outdoor seating.
Raindancer is always a good staple in West Palm. The food is great and the service is good. Our server that we usually have Susan was not there this time but the server that took care of us was good. Will return and hopefully Susan will be back.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Dinner was fantastic and everything came out perfectly. We came for the special and it was perfectly cooked and prepared above our expectations! Our waiter Tim was fantastic and with the COVID-19 situation made us feel very comfortable! The bartender made the most amazing drinks I definitely recommend The Side Car! It was a perfect night and Nikki was able to help out when it was a bit busy and kept everything moving nicely! We will definitely come back
A few minor criticisms. My wife and I both ordered the filet, she: medium rare, me: rare. They came identical: medium rare. It wasn't enough to send back, however, but I was slightly disappointed. Also $9.00 for a house vodka is a little steep
Raindancer is a great place for any occasion. The food and service are amazing!
The food and service were outstanding, and they were very crowded due to it being Father’s Day. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Phenomenal food, phenomenal service, and just an absolutely wonderful experience. I will absolutely be coming back and I urge anyone living in the area to visit this restaurant.
Absolutely stunning, as always. The service and the food are unrivaled from any restaurant I have ever been to!
Food and service are terrific. It’s an undiscovered gem!
The best and friendly people, the owner is a gentleman...
Nice place, good food and great service, a nice surprise
Everything was fabulous except:
Waiter did not know what some foods were.
Rolls came out over baked.
Waiter’s English was very poor and he had difficulty explaining things,
I come here each time I’m in Florida. They have simply have the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. And the service! You will want for nothing. Mario is hilarious and the owner is an incredible man who truly desires for his customers to enjoy themselves!
The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Awesome staff
During these difficult times it was very pleasing to be able to go out and enjoy a nice dinner at Raindancer. They were very prepared to take care of their guests, respecting the CDC guidelines and distancing. Food and service superb as usual. Lively music at the piano bar where a few guests were enjoying the night. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return here for many more visits.
We went to dinner with another couple,Food was Good, had to ask for the early bird menu at 5:30, which is a menu that has 20-30 dollar specials from 4-6 pm !!!
Normal menu is mostly 30-50 dollars !!
The other couple asked the waiter if it was possible for him to smile !!!
24.00 for 2 tom Collins
4 early bird dinners, 6 drinks & tip was over 200.00 ( they did give us 4 free shots of some kind of fruit & alcohol) !!
Have eaten here about 4-5 times & has been better & worse, restaurant is unpredictable
Do not think we will go back !!!
We take all of our family and friends who visit the area to Raindancer. Since the new management has taken over, it has become a great place to eat and drink. The staff is always friendly and the food is spot on.
Food was excellent, service was great - my new favorite place to celebrate. On the high end of my budget, reserved for special occasions
Host was...odd, poorly communicated, stared and didn’t speak, very uncomfortable initial experience. Server was efficient if not warm, but had a old fashioned steakhouse feel...we speculated on how many mob deals had gone down in the back rooms. A salad bar gave it a bit of a low class feeling. Steaks were well aged and perfectly cooked. Would go again, I think, but not a must do thing.
