Love the food
Service was great and the place is very nice. However, on the culinary side, it's a full ultra sweet experience. Both entrees tasted like cotton candy. I had orange Beef, described as mildly spicy, and I didn't have the willingness to finish it. My partner had Crispy Duck Grand Marnier. You cannot distinguish the difference between the two dishes. Soups were delicious. Appetizers were decent but still with a sweet taste. maybe an introduction to the entreees.
Nice restaurant and good food. They over cooked the Calamari this time so much they had to take it back. They promptly removed it from our bill with no hassle. Somewhat pricey for Chinese food. You have to pay to park on the left side of the parking lot so take your spare change for the parking meters. The right side is free parking if you can get one.
Food was Outstanding. Service was excellent. Hands down, the best Chinese food I've had in quite some time.
Excellent Chinese food. Authentic and prepared well. Especially enjoyed the orange beef and lobster crab wontons. The bar had great cocktails. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
They do everything right! Great food great service great people! Get the Scallops, steak, snapper and any specials they’re running.
The food was quite delicious and tasty for the upscale restaurant that it is. The ambience is quite okay but could be made a bit exquisite .However ;the food was quite pricey which would not allow frequent visit to such a place. I will overall rate it as being great .
The food was delicious, the service excellent. Great place. Highly recommend.
Best Asian food I have ever had. Service was impeccable!
I recommended it is excellent what I read it is true simply.
Only negative would be the decor needs to be updated...
As I have my office in Hong Kong, I know how a real dim sum has to be. Those were something else, disappointing. Duck was not so bad but not worth the price.
The Rainbow Palace is a must whenever we visit Ft Lauderdale. They offer the best Chinese food in South Florida. Additionally, the food presentation is superb. It is a beautiful restaurant with a professional staff who attend to all your dining needs. Paul and Shino could not have done more to make our dining experience more enjoyable.
Nice restaurant and good food. Somewhat pricey for Chinese food and cocktails. That might be why the restaurant is full of older customers. You have to pay to park so take your spare change for the parking meters.
Excellent, a little pricey, but worth it.
Longtime customer. Always. Good. Getting a little tired. Needs a freshening up.
Lovely atmosphere, superb food and excellent presentation and service.
We enjoyed our meal very much and our servers and assistants were very accomodating. We believe it is a bit over priced, however. We will come back, but only for very special occasions.
We had eaten here once before and really enjoyed it but this was a different experience. We were 8 people and ordered various dishes which we all shared. The food was bland, absolutely no heat even in the dishes which were supposed to be spicy. The sweet and sour chicken tasted as though it had been reheated, the crispy steak wasn’t crispy and the two fish dishes were boring. The best dish was the vegetable noodles!! Trader Joe’s frozen Chinese dinners are far more authentic and a 1/10 of the price. To make matters worse a VERY noisy group of people were at the bar so conversation was difficult.
Don’t waste your money (its very expensive for Chinese food)
This place never ceases to impress. Both the food and the service are top notch. It is expensive for Chinese food, but this is not your local take out place, they are serious about both quality and presentation. 5 stars all the way around.
Rainbow Palace is a true Cantonese restaurant. We has the special lychee martini's that were outstanding. The presentation, service and flavors are worth the price. The hot and sour soup was not too thick and delicious. The fried squid was perfectly cooked and the orange beef, duck in black bean sauce and the lo mein noodles were as good as it gets in Ft Lauderdale!
Good food could not overcome comedic service and drunken diners. Waited 1 hour for wonton soup and 90 minutes for the main dishes. Will not go back.
So special to be able to find exceptional Chinese food in Florida. This restaurant is a gem. The food, service & ambiance is well above average. Can’t wait for our next time.
Our traditional New Year's Eve dinner for 10+ years now. Crispy duck and Hong Kong shrimp two outstanding choices. Food quality is top in the area. Best Chinese food ever!
The best in continental Asian. Service impeccable with matching menu.
Very pricey. the food was good just very expensive
We visited Rainbow Palace on a recent visit to Fort Lauderdale. When searching for a Chinese restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner, we saw that many web sites listed Rainbow Palace as one of Fort Lauderdale's top Chinese restaurants. We were not disappointed.
The House Wonton Soup was excellent. The main courses -- we had Orange Beef and Chicken Gwin Jin -- were really tasty without being too sweet or heavily breaded (in the case of the beef) or over-seasoned (in the case of the chicken), and the portions were plentiful.
Save room for dessert. The desserts are made by our server's (Paul's) daughter. We could sense that he is a proud father. And he should be. We seriously considered returning to Rainbow Palace on Christmas night just for dessert.
restaurant chino elegante
always a winner especially when you are trying to bring something special to out of town guests. Food, service, wine list excellent. you won't be disappointed if you want upscale Asian.
By far one of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Don’t let some of the prices deter you . This is the not your take out Chinese corner restaurant. It’s is a dining experience. The crispy steak was the most amazing steak I have had and I have had steak at many restaurants. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere make this an amazing restaurant to dine at.
