In my opinion, the food was awful; my dish was full of some kind of gelatinous substance around the vegetables and nothing had any flavor at all - I ordered Shrimp Hong Kong. I would never go back there.

Read all the other reviews , yes they’re true . Too much to list but everything from service to food and appetizers to desert is 5 star . All that’s missing here is egg drop soup , Chinese fried table noodles and egg rolls but food is beyond excellent , all is very expensive too

Service was great, really well done. The food on the other hand was certainly good, but exceptionally overpriced for what amounts to typical American style Chinese food. There was no wow factor to justify spending literally 2.5 times more than usual. The decor also leaves something to be desired. I doubt it’s been updated in 40 years. That being said, the restaurant has a following and they have been in business a while… I just don’t get it personally.

The food was excellent. Ernest, our server was great. It's extremely pricey, especially the vegetables and rice dishes ( $20 for just string beans ). One of the Best Chinese Restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area orin South Florida.

Rainbow Palace is a great place for fine Asian dining, whether a regular meal or celebration of a special occasion. The service is excellent, efficient without being rushed. It is out go-to place for birthdays and our anniversary.

The Rainbow Palace looks nice and is clean upon entry but then you notice it needs some upgrading and is dated. The menu and presentation is interesting and varied but the food isn’t much different than your average Chinese restaurant. The service is better than most but seems a little rushed. Nice place to try although it’s pricey for what it is.

The food was good. We cannot find good Chinese food in Ft. Lauderdale. Someone recommended the Rainbow Palace. While the decor is dated, the service is very good and so it the food. However the pricing was so high most likely it will keep us from returning. 4 dumplings cost $22. Average meal prices were $42 per plate. The sauces were ok, almost out of the jar type. The fish of the day was 'flat' and could have been done much better. The garlic broccoli was mushy but tasty. We were full and satisfied but not at the prices they charge. Still searching for a good affordable Chinese restaurant. We prefer P.F. Changs over this place.

We live 40 minutes away but excited to go back for what we remembered as great Chinese food. I have never written a bad food review before , and wasn't planning on doing it this time either but when I was asked to review last nights dinner on open table I thought I should. It was by far the worst dinner I have ever eaten. When I say eaten I mean tried to eat. We thought the food was served in gigantic pieces and just been doused in heavy thick sauces. We did send back one dish that came out looking like individual brains(was supposed to be comparable to a sweet and sour chicken ) I don't know what it was. We paid for our dinner and left. The staff was shocked that we ate nothing and refused to take any of it with us. I don't k ow how they even stay in business. The only thing I can conclude is that people have just stopped expecting good food and this is just sad. Don't even get me started on the service. Our waiter forgot to put our drink orders in so, we got appetizers before a martini and a coke. The whole experience looked like we were being pranked and would later see this unexplainable night on a tv series

The food was very tasty. But we wished their had been some more traditional Chinese food options on the menu. Surprised they didn’t have brown rice available. We had won ton soup. They did accommodate one of us with a vegan soup not on the menu as well. That was a nice touch. Next was sweet and sour chicken, house lomein and buddhas delight. All of the food and the sauces were enjoyable. I do wish tofu would have been an option though. All in all, you are paying for a nice meal out although it’s a little pricey worth it once in a while.
