Rails Steakhouse is a modern American steakhouse offering carefully selected USDA Prime and CAB corn-fed beef, dry-aged a minimum of 28 days on-premise & hand-cut daily. We offer modern and contemporary dishes, including sustainable fresh seafood, homemade desserts, and an award-winning wine list recognized by Wine Spectator.

Attention to detail can be seen in this beautiful 20,000 sq. ft., restaurant where sprawling timber meets natural stonewalls, accents of glass showcase fire-and-water features in this luxe lodge. While all levels feature the same menu, the main dining room has a more sophisticated ambiance and Rafters on the second floor has a more casual lodge appeal. Descend to the lower level to find the secret passage that takes you to the wine cave, and Thirty 3, a speakeasy-style bar and lounge. Dine al fresco on our outdoor terraces offering spectacular views of the Pyramid Mountains. Most importantly, we want you to feel at home where our hospitality is second to none.

Rails offers several private and intimate spaces, the Library and Mosaic room which feature sweeping views of downtown Towaco and are perfect for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and showers and for holding smaller business meetings. For larger events such as cocktail and engagement parties consider the Rails main dining room or Rafters Lounge, with its striking catwalk and expansive, curved bar. In warmer months, the outdoor Vista Terrace is a wonderful location for a reception or a cocktail hour, offering front-row views of the gorgeous surrounding scenery. All of our private dining options feature Rails signature, eco-friendly blend of natural elements and luxurious interior design, and all have widescreen televisions available for presentations.

We were in a busy area of the restaurant and there was a huge fan above us that made it too breezy. Food was absolutely delicious! Service very good too!

Very loud could not hear the waitress . The value of the meal is not there if I'm paying for a 52 dollar steak one side should be included. The way the waitress took the order was strange I have to hold on to my menu while I had my appetizer because she didn't take out main meal order I did appreciate that she had the bartender make a drink they no longer offered for me and for the dessert she compt us for our birthday celebration The menu changed was not happy about that I also have celiacs and I was told by the waitress I should have told them of my allergies when I made my reservation I never have to do this at other restaurants

This was our 4th time at Rails and we have never been disappointed. Our server Laura was polite, cheeerful and helpful. We had the calamari and shrimp appetizers and they were excellent. The red Sangria was just as if it came from a Spanish restaurant. I had the petite filet mignon and my wife had the marinated skirt steak and both were cooked as ordered. We shared the Gouda bacon Mac and cheese and it was delicious. We shared chocolate gelato and it was on the house since it was my wife’s birthday. Highly recommend Rails especially for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Very disappointed as a frequent visitor I took my wife for Easter dinner The restaurant was past the rush hour so it was occupied but not crowded Service was pleasant but very slow Asked for a second bottle of sparkling water and it took 10 minutes Food was surprisingly bland lacking its typical taste and flavor Again it’s a first time disappointment but none the less a disappointment

"Energetic" is a bit of a euphemism for a restaurant such as Rails. It is a very large, cavernous space and the noise level is exceptionally high. With a large number of people in a very open and large spce with very high ceilings, sound carries to extreme levels and it was often hard to hear our server as well as each other. The food is good, not great. Some of the dishes were better than others. The gorgonzola potato side was excellent as was the onion soup. The steak was decent but not of the quality of a classic steakhouse. The desserts were good but all were very "heavy" both in texture and content. Our server was attentive without being obtrusive and quickly corrected an order that was not prepared per our allergy requirements.
