    Have been to Railcar several times before and typically have a good experience- this time was not good. They gave me a drink menu listing 75% of allocated bourbons that they were out of. I get that allocated spirits are hard to get - but updating a menu is easy. Food was not good, charcuterie board had ‘warmed’ meats and flavorless cheese. The French onion soup was also unremarkable. The pork chop described as ‘butterflied’ was less than 1/4 inches thick, not butterflied (or thick enough to be butterflied), way overcooked, and completely over salted. Was only able to eat two bites and had to send it back. They did offer to make something else and took the entree off the bill. Server was great, but clearly something is off in the kitchen and front of house management. Will try again in case it was an off night

    Food was great as well as atmosphere. They told us there was a miscommunication with our server so we had a bit of a wait most of the night but we were happy and celebrating so it wasn't an issue for us. We would all come back again

    The service was good. We had the flat iron steak and the shrimp diablo. The steak and fries were good but the shrimp dish was not good. Very odd flavor in the sauce, very sweet and no spice at all. My husband does not to complain or send food back, but this dish was one of the worst things I have ever tasted. We have been here many times and have always had good food in the past. Great wine dinners.

    Went there for date night. I had French onion soup which was ok, as I have had much better elsewhere and also had the crab cakes. Those were decent for the midwest. They weren’t dry at all and had good flavor. Drinks were ok but overpriced. My wife had the Mac n Cheese. Again it was just ok, not a knock me out of my seat for $25. Overall it was a nice place to try. Wouldn’t go back and drop $100 there again.

    Server was awesome ! She knew how bad the food was . Obviously they were experiencing some issues last night !!! Every table around us had some type of issue going on and it was obvious. Our waitress handled it very well and after we shared our experience with people we know they all stated the same thing.

    I made reservations requesting a quieter corner table for our small dining club. It was perfect ~ private and quiet; and our server, Rachel was exceptional. The food was amazing. We all agreed it is one of the top two restaurants our group has chosen.

    My crab & shrimp bisque was the highlight, and the crab cakes were also good. My husband got the prime rib French dip and the beef was dry and not a good flavor. So, mixed experiences for us. The waitress was nice!

    We stopped in for a late lunch so they weren’t real busy. Had the board and a couple bowls of soup. Very good. I’m a sucker for French onion soup. Server was very attentive and punctual with everything.

    Railcar delivers. We had the opportunity to take an impromptu night out and this was our first choice. Our hostess and server were friendly, prompt and helpful. The menu was great. Crabcakes are BOMB. Our entrees (ribeye and enchiladas) were quick to arrive and perfectly prepared. Finished the night off with their carrot cake (incredible, and made for two) and a coffee. 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

    We were seated quickly and and enjoyed viewing the brunch menu. The appetizer also arrived quickly but before we could put a dent in it the main course arrived. It was a little faster than I’d hoped. We could have spent another 5 minor so to enjoy the appetizer. The food was delicious and the server was very attentive. I will definitely return.

    Wonderful brunch spot. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful without being overbearing. This was great for catching up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. We got the salmon hash and pile up and both were delicious! Bottomless mimosas were truly bottomless and a great treat for such a lovely weekend. Will be going again and would recommend!

    My only reason for giving 4 stars on the food was the french dip sandwich bread was way too soft and pretty much dissolved after dipping it in the au jus. It made the sandwich mushy. The bread I'm sure is a good bread, just not for this type of sandwich. Otherwise my meal and those of my fellow diners was great.

    Excellent food. All 5 of our orders came out hot (steam seen), on a timely manner. Waters were filled up at least 5 times without asking. Food was fresh, delicious, Ingredients perfect. Waitstaff superb. They had just remodeled the place, loved the wood, the pictures of trains, lighting. Simple, yet nicely done. We went on a Sunday, so not a full house, but still all the staff were attentive. Well done.

    The food was amazing, even better than I was expecting. This is the 4th time I have dined there and I am never disappointed. Our server was delightful. I have learned if you want to eat at a prime time, make a reservation or you will have to wait in line for a table.

    It's a nice spot for date night, the staff were all friendly and attentive. It was a touch too quiet when we were sat at our table but it was not detrimental to the experience. The food was remarkable although, we didn't realize my wife ordered a chicken sandwich until it had arrived at the table. Otherwise, a really nice dinner and experience.
