Raglan Road Irish Pub Ratings and Reviews
Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. First, the food! The food was excellent in flavor, wonderfully prepared, and suitable for my dietary needs. The amount of gluten free options was staggering and they even had dedicated fryers. The entertainment was a joy. Only complaints were the noise level and the inability to adequately view the stage during the entertainment.
We loved the atmosphere at Raglan Road. We could see the dancers from our table which was really fun! Loved the band too! The bangers and booz was really good as were the fish and chips that my husband ordered. We would definitely go back when we are in Orlando again.
we had an excellent time, was impressed by the fact the original booking had to be cancelled but was easily re scheduled. food, entertainment and food were excellent, the ambience of the pub was outstanding, staff so helpful and pleasant. have already passed on our recommendation to people we know are visiting in 2018. thanks for a great experience.
Raglan Road is either a hit or a miss. On this visit it was a miss. The waitress brought my wife the incorrect cocktail at first. When our food arrived her pork chop was so well done you couldn't cut it with a steak knife. We sent it back and 20 minutes later her dinner arrived and I was almost finished with mine. Hopefully next time it will be a hit.
I really like Ragland Road, but in all the times we've been there, we've never been able to get decent seats to see the stage. Not sure what sorcery it takes to be able to watch the show in the main room. The food is great, and the performers are wonderful...when you can see them.
Raglan Road has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to when in Orlando. However this last visit was terrible! We arrived at 7 pm for 7:15 reservation and were told that table would require a wait. At 7:45 we asked to have the first available as it was getting a bit late. At 8 we asked for a manager and finally were seated in a non viewing area. Our waiter did not come to our table for 10 min and when he did he took our drink orders and then disappeared for another 10!! Our food came out separately and by the time all of us were served my meal was cold! Half way through my meal my beer finally arrived! Terrible experience! We have been coming to Raglan for about 7 years now and have been there during the busiest times of the year! This kind of wait should not happen the week after Thanksgiving, one of the quieter times of the year! Really sad that Raglan Road treats its customers so poorly!
Server was good however the man at the front desk (maybe was a manger?) was rude. I was 10 min late for my reservation, called ahead of time and the hostess told me not to worry and that I would be sat right away. When asked why I had to wait (why make a reservation if the table isn’t reserved?) the rude man kept telling me I was late. If he is a manager, I think the restaurant should really be more careful about who they hire or train the management to give better customer service.
The staff should realize this restaurant is liable to reduce their ability to hear in the near future and they should sue. The music is SO LOUD and so continuous that everyone who eats inside is unable to carry on conversation. We saw people/families/dating couples looking pained and distressed while trying to eat and converse. Three people (ages 12, 36, & 60) in our party plugged their ears with tissue. The food was good, but we will never return or recommend it. I can't imagine working in that environment for hours.
Authentic Irish pub in Downtown Disney with reasonable prices for the area. Fish and Chips were very good as well as the Shepherds Pie, surprisingly the wings were the hit of the table. Service was good for being so busy but be prepared to wait even with reservations. Would definitely return.
This is a total tourist trap - but you know it and only really go for the excellent dance show. Food is reasonable but very expensive. Service is efficient. If you want fish and chips or sausages plus a good pint of Guinness and an energetic dance show plus good irish music you are in the right place.
our server Jack, was absolutely terrible. Rushed us through every aspect of our meal. From beginning to end a horrible experience. Couldn't be bothered to follow up on if our meals were good. (they weren't!) Asked if we wanted desert, and in the same breath said here is your check. I couldnt find a manager or anyone to discuss. Guess Jack will know now why he received no tip!
On our last evening in Orlando, we found Raglan Road. What a terrific way to end our vacation. While our reservation seating was a little delayed, it was well worth the wait. Great food, beers and live entertainment made the evening a blast. Make sure to try the Irish Egg appetizer. There was authentic Irish music and clog dancers actively engaged with the crowd. Overall, an easy 5 Star.
Honoring reservation times is a consistent issue with this establishment. Being seated 1/2 hour to 45 minutes post reservation time is unacceptable. This was the fourth time my family has eaten at this establishment and three of these times we were seated 30 minutes past our reservation time. I would think that they could figure out a better approach than their current method.
