Raglan Road Irish Pub Ratings and Reviews
Waited 30 min for a reserved table..food was just ok. Nothing special after waiting one hour for our food... the bread was the best part of the meal. Will never go back on a Sat pm. ..could not even celebrate my husband ‘s birthday .. too noisy and too much negative energy in the place.
We have been going to Ragland Road for years but this year was a disappointment. The location of our high top table was right beside the kitchen and we received several plates that didn't belong to us. The service was fair at best, as we had to continually ask for items that should have been provided. We will have to rethink returning again.
The Irish dancing and live music probably make this one of the best attractions in Orlando. The place is always packed so reservations are recommended. This place is a true authentic taste of Ireland both in the food and the entertainment. Make sure to try the Bread and Butter Pudding for dessert too!
Made a reservation asking specifically for a table with a view. Got a wobbly table with a view of the back of one players head. Moved to the bar where we were promptly ignored by the bartender after trying to flag him 3 times. Went to Morimoto instead. I have been to raglan road before and recieved excellent service. Was hugely disappointed this time.
I have been a few times, but this time people were standing in the open areas and blocking the view of the entertainment. As a diner, this was odd as they just seemed like random people who were not eating there just standing in the middle of the restaurant. Plus, we were there for a special birthday, and they really did not do more than light a small candle in a dessert we ordered. ...it was a little disappointing.
While we have dined multiple times on every visit to the Orlando area, we will probably never go back. We had a reservation, and were seated promptly. However, we were given a table in a corner, where we couldn't see any of the entertainment. Further, from the minute we sat down the server's one goal was to hurry us out of the restaurant. He literally hovered over our table making us very uncomfortable. The price of the meal as compared to the quality was not reasonable. My wife's meal was cold, when it was served . I can't remember a more disappointing dining experience. With all the dining options available in Orlando, I would not waste time on Ragland Road, which is very disappointing , as in the past we always had an enjoyable experience. The managements only goal seems to be to collect the bill and hurry you out.
Always amazing!! Usually dine here once a month or so. Juan our server was great, Brittany is always fantastic as well. Only complaint was that we had reservations and yet still had to wait about 20 mins. That kinda defeats the purpose of reservations. Will be back regardless, food is always phenomenal, as well as the service.
This was our third visit to Raglan Road but least enjoyable due to extremely long wait for our food.
Prior to being seated we wanted drinks at the outside bar. When we were ready to order our Guinness, they placed a cup over the tap and said “we just ran out”. What??? You’re an Irish Pub! I know kegs run empty, then tell me you need to change kegs! When I voiced my displeasure, I was told, very unenthusiastically, that she could get my beer from the inside bar. I passed.
Once seated and after ordering, the tables on both sides of us were turned over to new customers, they got their food and we still sat waiting.
We ordered nothing fancy only the wings, chicken pie, bangers and booz, salad and a kids meal.
Our drinks were empty and had to ask for more.
Very disappointed. We live local and may have to find another place to take out of town visitors.
Great place for a family and to enjoy live music/dancing. Unfortunately I was hosting a business dinner and didn’t realize how loud it was going to be in the restaurant. They seated us right in front of the stage which only made it worse. The food was ok, service slow due to them working around the dancers, and the value only “ok”. It’s also a long walk into the boardwalk at Disney to get to the entrance of this restaurant—another thing that was not clear on their website when I booked.
Our food was lukewarm. Our server asked how our meal was immediately as it was delivered and never returned until we were almost done. We were not able to get anyone to have our server come back or get assistance.
As we were done our server returned to fill our glasses and ask about dessert. We declined and left.
Previously, we have eaten here and had a much better experience. If this was my first time it would have been my last.
We will eat here again next year when we come for the marathon and hope for a better experience.
Love, love, love Raglan Road! We are from Miami but whenever we visit Orlando our family always makes a point to eat here. It’s my favorite restaurant! I haven’t had a bad experience-only good. The food is always amazing, the staff is always kind and the entertainment is great! This trip we celebrated my 12th wedding Anniversary and our daughters 3rd birthday. Everyone was happy. Our little girls even got up and did a River dance. I can’t wait to go back and try a new dish to eat.
Love the place, great food, great live music and dancers. Amazing for wheat allergies with the gluten free menu.
Waiting was long to get a table even though we made reservation, time was not respected. Also would be nice to have space to wait and while we wait to be seated to have a waiter pass buy to offer drinks.
We have several food allergies. The waitress did not make us feel as if we were being bothersome at all and the manager took our orders personally to make sure everything was okay. They have great food, great atmosphere, and great food safety practices for allergens and intolerances. They were very knowledgeable about product sources and cross contamination without us even having to ask.
I got the wild boar burger with goat cheese as I cannot have bovine cheese and it tasted amazing!
I love coming here and every time is a great experience!
We reserved Raglan Road for New Years Eve. We had a fabulous time!! The entertainment was phenomenal and just what we were looking for when spending our New Years Eve with our family. Our children are 16,18 and 20 and ALL loved it as well. Thank you.
On a side note, if you are looking forward to enjoying the entertainment, or this is your first visit to the restaurant, make sure to request or tell the host/hostess that you do not want the dungeon style seating in the front of the restaurant by the hostess station. If you are seated in that area you will only hear the entertainment and not see a thing. This would be no fun and you would be missing out on the complete experience of the restaurant.
We booked a table for 5 for New Years Eve, the bar and restaurant was very busy, our server was very good and the service was good, unfortunately for the price paid the food was very poor, we had starters which were okay, but the soup and bread were awful, the mains came very quick, the mashed potato was cold, the onion rings were like concrete as if they had been fried hours before and left under a warmer, the steak was okay but not very juicy. I can imagine that the kitchen was very busy that evening but if it’s not right the food should not be served on a night that busy..
This is my favorite Irish Pub, always bring my guests/visitors here, its good for all occasions & for all ages. As a faithful customer for years now I must say this visit was not the best. The manager & entertainers were great accommodated us as always, however, Raglan has a new-rule for birthday clients which is you only get a ‘free bday dessert’ w/proof of ID that’s your birthday-date, that’s fine, however if the client asks for a bday candle on a dessert because its being celebrated that day from the month (free or not) the candle should be on the cake without any hassle. Its the second time in the past 3 months a big ordeal is created from nothing. I don’t ask for a free-dessert, I ask for a candle on the dessert. There must be a way to do this without making the person feel bad. On this visit 12/30 we were celebrating a 10 year old girls bday which originally is 1/3, that’s the same week. I don’t want a free-dessert however, sing happy-bday and put a candle on the dessert if requested without making the bday girl feel like crap. Obviously she does not carry an ID - the waitress brought a dessert w/candle (which I’m thankful for) we happily paid for it as well but the hassle beforehand was just inappropriate. As far as to tell us Raglan has lost $90,000 due to giving free desserts — $93,000 of profit perhaps, nobody loses there, not that its of anyone’s business. Very disappointed in owners, train yourself and the staff a better way when it comes to that. You may ask for ID yet regardless if correct-date or not, if the customer wants a candle, you place a candle.
