For these prices, the alligator appetizer should not be frozen and mass-manufactured.

We went on Mardi Gras for the party, and it was good music and good fun. Super packed, which was to be expected as it was unusually busy. The rush overwhelmed the bar staff so the service was poor, and they had "one-night-only" bar staff ,who were very nice, but who didn't know the specials, nor what was in stock. Food came out of the kitchen in parts, so people were eating while it was hot, but without complete meals....my side dish came out after I was basically done, so I got a box to go. It was still delicious, and The Pig Whistle Flight was worth the wait. We go a few times a year, and I'm sure we'll go back again.

The majority of my crawfish had no tail...almost like they served me already eaten Crawfish as they were out.

They made me wait for over an hour for this and they had a sigh that they were out of crawfish....never again!!!!

The food was over and under cooked. The crab legs were small with no meat inside. The corn appeared old and the potatoes were hard. The fries and peach punch were good. The service was friendly. However there were only four tables of customers. We would never go there again. I did not bring my concerns to the attention of management. However we left and ate at RedLobster.

It took us over 35 minutes to get waited on about 45 minutes afterwards to get our good. The best thing about this place was the server. He had great customer service but the food wasn’t what we expected.

Got the crab and shrimp boils, the crab was exactly as you'd expect crab to taste. Hot and delicious. Unfortunately, if there was any cajun spice in either plate, it's not something you would notice. For a restaurant having cajun in its title, you'd think this would be a focus.

The shrimp wasn't anything special, not terrible, just not worth ordering. Even accounting for the abundant amount of shrimp, I'd still skip it.

The corn that comes with both plates wasn't hot, more like lukewarm.

It's no surprise why this restaurant had hardly anybody in it.

Being from East Texas I've been missing Cajun food. I loved the sweet tea with "Sonic Ice". Paper straws were a pleasant surprise. Fried pickles were hot and light. The Shrimp Etouffee was nice and spicy, and my husband's lunch special 1/2 shrimp po-boy and Bayou Bisque were really good. Warm pecan pie finished us off with a smile! We'll be back!

The beans and rice was absolutely yummy, full of flavor. The gumbo and jambalaya was also good, not overly spicey but with a noticeable kick. You get a free scoop of ice cream and mardi gras beads to wear if you are celebrating your birthday, and they sing happy birthday to you.

Ragin Cajun continues to our favorite spot to bring visitors, friends, or just a place to eat good food. I have a friend who comes all the way from North Hollywood just to eat here (He doesn't invite me sometimes). The staff is always friendly and the food never fails to be great. I, personally, love the N'awlins Chicken sandwich but the PECAN PIE is to die for. If you can't handle sweet, it's best to share with someone because it can be too sweet for one person but it's so delicious. Plus is comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If price is a concern, splitting a meal is ok because the amount can definitely feed two. Overall, I'm always very satisfy with my visit and definitely recommend it.

Our experience was unpleasant, when we got there we were seated right away. However, It took us about 20 minutes before we got a server. Other families came in well after ours and was treated with the utmost respect, seated and offered fresh bread. Then after I sent my son to get the manager to find out about our waitress she walked passed our tabled to greet other customers and then the waitress finally came introduce himself and I then had to tell him how bad the service was then he told me that we had to ask for bread and that they were going through a shift change. My thing is, this was a very first time going there and I thought the service and food would have been exceptional. The food was mediocre I could have made what we all ordered at home and it would of been way better. We ordered a lot because it was a lot of us but there food had no taste very bland, no seasoning and you don’t feel You get your money’s worth.. all in all I only enjoyed it because my family took me there for mother’s day and the good experience for me was I got to spend time w/ my family

We started with the Fried oyster appetizer. It was good, however, it was not cooked all the way. It was like eating oysters on the half shell with a fried coating. The oyster was very loose. Also the fried pickles were extremely hot like they had been put in the microwave and so was the peach cobbler. They were abnormally hot not just for a fryer . I thought the red beans and rice were good and just needed a little hot sauce. Also asked for bread which was disappointing. We would come back but probably not order oysters or peach cobbler.
