Radish & Rye Ratings and Reviews
Fabulous and creative menu with just the right size portions! Food done to perfection and our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. The only reason we did not return the second night of our stay in Santa Fe was they are closed on Mondays!
A definite must!
Our experience here was simply delightful. Bourbon selection was very solid. Our dinner was very nice. Ribeye was prepared perfectly. The service was flawless which was all the more impressive given how busy they were. If anyone saw something needing to be addressed, it was taken care of. Started off with some pop corn popped in duck fat dusted with red chili powder, probably the fanciest popcorn I'll ever have...
Great food for farm to table. The service was wonderful, and the creative approach to food was interesting.
The Kentucky Blue Grass music theme got a little tedious - for a restaurant of this caliber, a different and more varied selection would be nice. Even though Bourbon is its highlight, some might not really 'get' the music vibe.
The food and service were both very good. However the table we were given was basically in a very busy hallway right next to the kitchen door - very uncomfortable. We asked for a different table, but they were unable to find one for us within a reasonable time frame (they blamed it on our use of Open Table to make the reservation). To make things worse the speakers for their sound system were on the wall right above our heads and the country and western music (totally inappropriate for a fine dining establishment) was blaring so loud we had to shout to have a conversation with our friends. We asked several times if they would turn the volume down and while they said they did there was no discernible change.
We have been to R&R several times, but I have to say that it is unlikely we'll go back.
It is always a pleasure to visit Radish and Rye. It has a welcoming atmosphere and the rooms feel cheerful. We go for the small plates and try something new. In this case the crusted shrimp and lamb pate were delicious.
A small problem was our waiter who was condescending and cold. Felt as if our food was being thrown at us. Very different from the usually cheerful service. Our guests thought that maybe he was an actor.
But that was not terrible and everything else was just great.
We had been recommended to eat here by numerous friends and locals alike. We had a nice evening but the food was pretty lame - the ingredients seems good but everything was bland or overly garlicky with not much in between. Maybe it was an off night - assuming so given that everyone else loves it!
Celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a nice time. We were greeted with complimentary glass of champagne that was very tasty. The ribeye my wife had was primo. I had the bone in pork chop and it was definitely in the top 3 chops I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the Radish and Rye. The manhattan I had was one of their signature cocktails and a good bev.
Outstanding from the call to confirm from James to the reception by Alex, the server, Rod, the food runners Alex and Andrea. Everyone was outstanding. The cocktails were divine - try the seasonal shrub! The food was great - started with four appetizers, as the idea is to share plates - first was a rustic lamb pate and apple mustard - tasty, then the beet salad with arugula - thinly sliced beets below a bed of baby arugula, lightly dressed and refreshing, the rib eye beef carpaccio also served with a bed of arugula and crostinis - I would have preferred the beef sliced, but it was delicious. The best of the night was the corn chowder served with a smoke bone with marrow - spicy, creamy, awesome - not to be missed. Finally we enjoyed the main course of trout - also good, but by that time we were completely satisifed. We WILL return.
We had a great meal at Radish and Rye. We shared some small plates. Each one was delightful. The dessert was also very good. They have an amazing list of different ryes and bourbons to choose from. Their cocktails were superb. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Beyond excellent. One of the finest restaraunts in the world, not just the states.
We blending Bourbon and Rye drinks with our meal and skipped the wine. Each dish, that we shared, were all highly defined epicurean delights and presented in an original but not pretentious way. The service was unique, enjoyable and spot on.
We found the full restaurant (we were seated in the middle of) maintained an almost unexplainable low level of noise, unlike our experience at Joseph's the next night. We all lamented later at how nice it was to enjoy such fine dining and still easily communicate in a packed house.
It was a very enjoyable experience and I hope more fine restaurants will lean from them.
This restaurant is awesome. From the moment you walk in you are greeted and the entire experience is enjoyable. The menu offers many options and small plates so you can try many things which is nice. The food is flavorable, not overly seasoned and leaves your palette complete. The wine list and cocktail list have many desirable options as well and the dessert menu is to die for, leave room.
Husband and I had a great time. Sat in a cozy nook and had very good whiskey cocktails. Great place to go is you are a whiskey person. Tapas and large plate selection was good with a variety to choose from. We had a fantastic meal with very good service. Can't wait to go back.
