Radish & Rye
Food, service and ambience were excellent. Unusual menu selections and waitstaff was very accommodating to my intolerance of garlic. Love the selections of rye and bourbon whiskies. Fried green tomatoes and the shrimp cocktail were sized just right for small plates. The salmon entree was done to my liking.
Took way too long to get food. Had to box it to go. They said to come back by 10:30 to pick up food. We returned at 10:10. Restaurant closed. Wait staff had thrown away food. Next day left a couple messages with co-owner. Still trying to make things right. Not a way to do business. Won’t come back!
The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the ambience was very inviting!
I asked the waiter for no onions in my dish since I am intolerant and they served a meal with onions. I asked them twice if any onions were in there and they said no.
Well there were most certainly onions as I got very ill after leaving the restaurant. Otherwise the food was just okay. I wouldn't go back.
surprise! this is a great restaurant that doesn't immediately scream Santa Fe but it's definitely a place you shouldn't miss. everything was delicious, especially the drinks.
The "Gulf shrimp" hardly qualifies as farm to table, and I would not order it again. Clearly a breaded frozen product of mediocre quality in my opinion. But the blue cheese iceberg with brisket was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The venue has many hard surfaces (concrete floors) producing lots of echoes so conversation can be challenging for those experiencing hearing issues.
This place was phenomenal. Everything from the service to atmosphere is on point. I will definitely be back for both the food and the amazing selection of prime-aged liquors. Couldn't have asked for a better place to take my girlfriend out in Santa Fe. Do try the ribs they are to die for.
An excellent meal - the best we had in Santa Fe. We ate out every night of our ten night visit, at the highest rated restaurants; Radish and Rye outdid all of them. Recommend highly!!
Radish and Rye’s new location is beautiful. What hasn’t changed is their still very obvious commitment to friendly service and delicious food. Lot’s of fun!
Easily becoming my favorite resturant in Santa Fe. The food is already great and the service and vibe are enjoyable. The ambiance and feel in the reaturant is perfect and comfortjng. I love they source all of their food from local farms.
Excellent, just excellent!
Getting tired of the same old menu .. need a special every once in awhile . Great service!
Outstanding food and atmosphere
Incredible food, drinks, atmosphere. Chris the bartender is amazing.
Could have been so much better if our ribeye for $48 didn’t, come out xtra rare and tough as a shoe. Ordered it medium rare had to send it back. However the chowder with the bone marrow was incredible as well as the arugula salad. Service was very good and the ambiance very nice Nice wine list
Great waiter, great wine, great food!
Food was good but some was not very warm. Service clearly wanted us out even though it wasn’t that late. We were the last table. They need some noise dampening in there. But we will come back.
Yes it possible to serve pork these days that is not cooked all the way through but basically raw is not acceptable. I literally got a cramp in my hand trying to cut it with a steak knife. I had to send it back and I was ready to move on and end the evening on a positive note. Coffee please? Uh, we are out of regular coffee- decaf only. We ended up ordering espresso. When I was working in restaurants and I could not offer a simple cup of coffee the espresso would have been offered immediately
and on the house. So tacky. There are so many amazing restaurants in Santa Fe - so disappointed.
Great food but painfully slow service even though we only ordered small plates.
The overall vibe of the new location is amazing. My pork chop was a bit overcooked and my boyfriend’s fish didn’t have a ton of flavor, but the small plates knocked it out of the park.
We were 15 minutes late but I called and let them know and they were great. They seated us right away when we arrived. Our server was pleasant but not at all attentive. We had to wave her down few times. I also had asked her to do two checks because we were 2 couples and she said sure but when she brought the bill it was one check. So we had to ask her to redo it. Everyone enjoyed their food but my entree, the pork chop, was mostly fat. Would definitely not order that again.
This is always a go to when in Santa Fe for dinner. New location is bigger and has a multi level comfortable vibe. Outstanding cask bourbon. Enjoyed a Manhattan to start. Small plates are some of the most creative culinary creations. Nice wine list and save room for dessert!
The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The owner made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed her restaurant. It was a lovely evening!
Service was disjointed and substandard. Entrees came at different times. Server was clueless and borderline rude. We were there 20 minutes before we saw a server (I had to go find one). Another 20 minutes to get a drink - not good for a place where bourbon (rye) is part of the name.
Too bad because the food is actually pretty good (the corn chowder with smoked bone marrow was excellent) and the bourbon selection is extensive and fairly priced.
Great Bourbon selection
My husband and I had a wonderful evening at Radish and Rye. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Lovely menu...hard to decide with so many delicious choices. Food was outstanding. Good wine list. We will definitely make reservations here on our next visit to Santa Fe
Loved every minute of it!!
Still great food, and service, but the open dinning area was too loud, so we went upstairs to the main bar and had a lovely dinner in a quite corner . No one wants to sit at a table in the central of a room, where everyone is walking past you.
Had heard good things - exceeded expectations
Perfect night... every detail, from food to decor, service and ambience , was beyond our expectations!!
It was good, not great. Fried green tomatoes tasted like funnel cakes at the fair, not what I was expecting.
Great service. Nice wine selection by the glass. Love the small plates1.
Nice setting, better than the old place. Menu needs work, it's a little quirky. Needs a little "pub food"
I love the food and service at Radish & Rye and have been there twice in their new location. The thing I cannot take is the high volume of music from the bar, it seems like no one working in the restaurant can do anything about it but if definitely inhibits conversation. This time we had the table for 4 at the physical divider between the restaurant and the bar, last time at the far end of the windows. Both times we couldn't hear each other talk. We have excellent hearing and do not use any devices.
We were disappointed with our last dining experience. We had previously eaten at the restaurant several times when it was in its previous location and very much enjoyed the food. However this time, neither of the entrees measured up to our expectations plus the soup we had ordered was lukewarm at best.
Pretty expensive for small, limited vegetarian menu, but otherwise good.
This was our first time dining at Radish and Rye. When we are in Santa Fe, we will go back. The food is creative and full of flavors and we love their bourbon collection. Our server was knowledgeable friendly and attentive. We had a very pleasant evening.
The food and drinks are always amazing at Radish & Rye! We made a reservation a few days ahead, but we were seated in a high traffic area by the entrance and restrooms (a bummer). We still had a wonderful meal served by an efficient staff. The ribeye steak and the salmon were particularly well prepared.
