A suburban neighborhood gem in Blue Bell. This upscale casual restaurant offers wonderful Italian fare with a twist. Well prepared small plates, pizzas, entrees and signature clay pot cooking emerge from the large wood burning oven. The "ultramodern, all white" decor extends a casual, comfortable feeling to diners. The blending of food and decor creates a vibrant and vivid dining experience.

Radice Ratings and Reviews
I've eaten lunch at Radice about five different times with various friends in the last several years. Each time my meal has been delicious (I've always ordered fish): well seasoned and beautifully presented. Terrific desserts, too! I love the ambience and the warm, friendly service. My friend, who introduced me to Radice, always orders the crab crepes - her favorite. I highly recommend Radice! Worth the drive from Chestnut Hill!
Four of us enjoyed a great dinner on a Saturday evening at Radice. Eggplant appetizer was delicious , tasty and well prepared. Pizza was enjoyed as was the lasagna. Liver and onions was really flavorful. Restaurant is lovely - all white walls, furniture, etc. - relaxing. Attentive service. A good time was had by all!
the food was excellent, the owner attentive and very nice, atmosphere was comfortable.
our waiter was arrogant and negative. we should have talked to the owner about him. he ridiculed one of the restaurant's more ethnic dishes and told us twice not to get it. he spoke negatively about other items on the menu. we laughed that he must be a relative or he would not have a job. sadly we did not get his name.
My aunt and I went for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant's decor is lovely and Carol our server was very friendly and helpful. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I had a hard time choosing what to order. I decided on the root vegetable salad and the pappardelle with lamb ragu. The dressing on the salad could have been a little bolder but i still enjoyed it. The pasta was very good. My aunt ordered the grilled calamari appetizer which was delicious and the Osso Bucco (apparently it is the special on weekends) which was also delicious and a HUGE portion. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant - I would definitely go more often but I will be looking for an excuse to return for sure.
Radice was excellent. Me and my wife went w another couple who are also food lovers. Our server (I wish I remembered his name) was awesome. Gave us time to choose items we wanted, knew all the specials by heart, had a sense of humor and gave great recommendations. The only item I wasn't crazy about was the gnocchi since the sauce was so rich and thick but it was still good. Prices are high, sure, but worth it. I would compare it to 19Bella in Skippack without the BYOB. We will definitely be back.
Our second time enjoying some of what has surprisingly been the most delicious Italian food in the area for sure. The menu is surprisingly varied and complemented with a few specials as well. It is nice that portions can be ordered as appetizer or full entrée. We started off with a cocktail and some appetizers, followed by a salad and entrée. Pastas are all handmade and prepared fresh and when you taste them you will know that you are enjoying something special. Notable items are the Salumi, Braciolini, and the melanzana for appetizers. The Lasagnetta and Gnocchi are fabulous. The wine list is very nice and well thought out.. We will be coming back for certain..
We went to celebrate a birthday but wished we had gone somewhere else. They did not have many choices for vegetarians only one pasta dish and two pizza choices on the entire menu. The waiter did not seem to care to help with questions on the menu or provide any recommendations. The pizza was mediocre. The pasta gnocchi was very bad. The waiter came by 3 times to take my plate away when I was still eating. He was in a rush to push us out. We will not be returning to this place.
Always so wonderful to dine at Radice. Chef extraordinaire Donna always has something special on the menu that meets my "clean" diet perfectly. Love trying new items and having our long time favorites as well.
Beautiful space and great experience every time.
I title my review, "The Apology Tour." First, and to some, most important, all the food was fine. I arrived on time and was told it would be a minute or two until I was seated. I told the manager "you mean 10-15 minutes." He laughed and agreed. Fifteen minutes later we were taken to what I call the open table table. I have found repeatedly that when I make a res with OT I will be given an undesirable table. Again true. After cocktails and ordering I requested our pasta app to be split before serving. Not done, but apology #1. After enjoying the pasta I inquired about bread which is usually served initially, it was brought with apology #2. In a nice restaurant I expect not to participate in a food auction where the server says steak and the diner must bid for it and acknowledge its his or hers. Here the server confidently delivered the entrees to the wrong people. No apology. Dessert was fine
My take away is the quality of the food greatly exceeds the level of service. I suggest Radice for during the week only. The team struggled on Saturday.
This is a gem of a restaurant located in an area where there are few excellent options. No matter where you may be, it is worth the trip to have a delightful and authentic Italian meal. I can't wait to go back and see Toto, the proprietor. You will not be disappointed!
