My friend and I both had the trout almondine. It was not one bit fishy, and probably the best trout that I’ve ever tasted. My friend agreed, and has gotten it in the past, and said that it is consistently delicious.
The food is a bit pricey, but wonderful. The server was attentive.
Extremely expensive and extremely loud. Very difficult time hearing your own conversations. But could differently hear everyone else’s.
Very noisy. Snapper dinner was good but the fish was heavily seasoned. Couldn’t taste the fish. Good service.
The service was very friendly, and quick despite the crowd. The food unfortunately was very mediocre and not what we expected. It’s was pretty much glorified bar food. Fresh food is trending right now, so when I see braised red cabbage on the menu, I expect fresh braised red cabbage, not canned polish beet cabbage loaded with sugar. The drink I got was undrinkable also. We didn’t eat or drink barely any of it... we moved on quickly.
Service was fine. My snapper was just ok. Muscles app was great. Decor was very cool. Flies were an issue. Not sure why since we went to other outdoor places and didn’t have a problem. Not worth the price tag in my opinion unless just going back for apps and drinks and happy hour. Also they charge $3 for bread. Really?? Poor customer service.
So good. We lived our dinner
A party of 5 enjoyed the food so much. Menu is so good that we got far too much but loved it all, both at Racks and later at home. I especially enjoyed my filet which was cooked perfectly. Their slaw is vinegar, not mayo, and excellent. Salads, shrimp and fish were all great. I do prefer Lemongrass for sushi.
All told it was a beautiful experience.
Great service. Great food
Food wasn’t worth it for the price I paid and service kinda sucked. Could’ve been better, it could always be better that’s for sure. Probably won’t ever come back!
Great meal. Very accommodating. Just a great experience.
Best, freshest blackened grouper was n Delray. Delicious with red cabbage side.
Always wonderful food and service. One of our favorites!
Drinks were not garnished, for the second visit in a row the bartenders needed improvement
Great service! Bartenders Bill, Joe, and Brian are amazing. Always a great experience.
Food is delicious! Pricey but yummy!!
Great place for seafood that is original and expertly prepared. Located near a busy corner, so lots to see while enjoying your meal.
Great atmosphere right on Atlantic Avenue. Close to all the hot spots on the ave. Great cocktail menu. We got oysters, calamari, and the glazed sea bass. All were delicious! Will be back
Reliably good, and seasonably full of non-locals. One of our ‘go to’ restaurants near home.
The grouper was outstanding. The mushroom asparagus barley side dish was exemplary. Can’t wait to go back.
Great service and food was outstanding! Best sushi my wife and I ever had.
There were two of us dining. One of us had the catch of the day special. It was NOT special. The grouper was tough-had to cut it with a knife. The second meal was the Fishermans platter. For the price a very small portion, two shrimp, one crab cake and two small strips of cod., although lots of fries which made platter look full.
We had mussels first which were very good. A good size portion. Overall bill was pricey for what we received. Service was friendly and good.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious! Of our party of 6, 4 of us had the Little Dragon Roll which everyone enjoyed immensely. The remaining diners also enjoyed their tasty entrees. It was our first visit and we will definitely return!
Food here is fabulous. The customer service is always top-notch.
Excellent experience from start to finish. Attentive server and the food was superb. The seared scallops are to die for
The restaurant is overpriced. For the money the food should be much better. Make them show you the oysters before you order them. None of what we ordered was great. You can get better food in that area for much less.
Were lucky to be outdoors where noise level was tolerable. Food was just ok, oysters were undersized and bland, poorly schucked. Takes chutzpah to charge for dinner rolls. Won’t be going back.
This place was recommended to us by a local. It was quite busy the night we were there but we got seated a few minutes before our reservation time. We sat outside along the sidewalk so it was moderately noisy but we didn’t mind because it was good people watching. Service was average at best ...we had to flag down our server several times and he only came back to check how the food was when we were almost finished eating. In his defense, he seemed somewhat new so service may be better with someone else. The food on the other hand was excellent! We had the grouper and the scallops...both very tasty. We shared a piece of Key Lime pie which was good but the crust was way too thick and couldn’t be broken with a fork. Overall it was a good experience and we will probably return to Rack’s at a future date.
My family and I loved it so much that I brought my in-laws a few days later!!! Great overall experiences of food, service and ambiance!
This was our first visit. The service was excellent as was the food. The tables are close together and it was noisy but we will definitely have a meal there again.
Amazing food!!! Great strawberry basil mules!!!
Great food, drinks and service. Staff very friendly and very accomodating. Highly recommend.
Rack's as usual, delivered good quality and service. Food was very good, although both fish dishes were a bit overdone. Great fun ambiance, and lively place.
The lobster smashed potatoes were spectacular! Will be returning soon.
The food was fine and our server was very friendly. She was very knowedgeable on gluten free items and this was important to me as I am celiac. The biggest problem was that we were told that one of our party's meals was burned in the kitchen so they were bringing a new dish. It took over 20 minutes for that dish to come and when it did, the rest of us were finished our meal. There was no compensation offered or even an additional starter to have while she waited. We weren't told that it would take that long or have the option of another dish. It made for an uncomfortable meal as the rest of us kept watching to see when her food would arrive. When it finally did, she was no longer hungry as the rest of us had given her part of our meal.
Awesome seafood! Outstanding service! Highly recommend!!!
Disappointed and don’t plan to return. Seats are very close together, place is extremely noisy, seats outside are practically on top of the cars parked in the street and the people going outside to smoke. Just 2 in our party, we ordered mussels and oysters as appetizers and 2 separate entree’s. Oysters were good. Mussels and my trout almondine were very bland and my husbands fried fish was a lot of breading. Service was mediocre and we thought it was overpriced, but that didn’t surprise us, since on the ave. Place is busy, but we don’t understand why.
The seafood is very good. The entree accompaniments also very good. I’ve eaten there three times and liked it. Our server was very good. Unfortunately the noise level makes it impossible to talk. Will not go again until high season is over. The Mac n cheese is great. The trout excellent.
Great food and service ‘
This is a great restaurant but I wouldn't go there again unless it was during an off peak time.
The food was great and ambience too but it was a Thursday night in march and we couldn't hear ourselves
Food was average. Scallops were salty and be sure you love horseradish when ordering the horseradish mashed potatoes. They were very heavily seasoned
No straw for Bloody Mary!!!??
Other restaurants have changed to paper.
Never again !!!
