Great lobster rolls and calamari. The rest of my dining party went for the Italian side of the menu and all were very pleased. Highly recommended.
Good food and ambiance; only downsides were the weight time between each visit from the waiter and there was a smoke detector with low batteries that beeped the entire time we were there
Food was pretty good but we didn’t realize the bar only included wine, beer and cordials.
I took my sister to Rabias for her birthday dinner. I indicated that on the reservation, but it was not acknowledged unfortunately. Out waiter was ok, the food was great!
We had a reservation at 8:15pm and were not seated until 8:35. Service was incredibly slow and the waitress at the bar and our table seemed like she did not want to serve us or be there at all. We’ve been here a few times before and the service was never this awful
The seating went well -waited about 10 minutes w/reservation. Nice atmosphere. The food was good but portions compared to price were quite unbalanced. I would not go back.
Had a wonderful time. Everything was great. Will frequent often
Service was great and all of their fish dishes are amazing and very fresh
I had forgotten how good a restaurant Rabia's is, since I had not been there for a while. I won't wait so long to go back again.
I am celiac and got the Lobster Risotto and it was PHENOMENAL! The staff was really kind. I was kind of shocked, we went on a weekend and it was surprisingly not packed. They also have gluten free pasta which I was super pumped about. They have a TON of options and they have lobster alive in the restaurant and my friend from out of town got really excited about that. I love this place, I want to keep going over and over again, it is so delicious and definitely a hidden gem!!
We love Rabia and go every time when in Boston. The grilled squid appetizer is our favorite.
I've said this before: Each time I go to Rabia's it's better than the last visit. My companion arrived first, 15 minutes early, (7:15), but was seated right away. You know how you go to a restaurant and you want it to be everything you said it would be? That's Rabia's. The service was thoughtful, the meal was excellent, and afterward to strolled around the North End. What's not to love.
The food was fantastic. Power Up Pasta is amazing. Best Chicken Parm in the North End.
Great customer service for a “fun” 6 person group!!
Rabias will always be my favorite north end spot. The seafood dishes are unmatched amywhere else. I came here for the first time on a trip to Boston 4 years ago and have continued coming back ever since.
I have never been to this restaurant before. We went with a group of eight people. The waiter was not friendly at all. The average meal on the menu is $23 the specials did not have any price. We all ordered specials and then asked the special meal prices and were told they were $45-$65 and a special appetizers with $30. We did end up changing our order to order off the regular menu but very very turned off that they did not have prices on the special menu. Will never go back
Service was unfriendly and inattentive. Food was spotty - my husband's chicken francese was delicious, but my chicken piccata was tough and inedible. I would avoid this restaurant if you have kids in tow. There is no kids menu (not a problem, I just wish I'd known in advance) and the menu makes ordering for kids a bit difficult (ravioli is made with smoked mozzarella, which was not a big hit with my kids). The waiter never offered a wine menu and never checked on us once he took the order. I would try somewhere else next time and would recommend the same to others. They do take reservations, which is nice for the North End.
Classic Italian preparation of seafood—very fresh seafood. Best meal of our several days in Boston.
Haven't been in a while, but it never let's me down. Food was amazing!
Cozy atmosphere. Prompt knowledgeable service by Henry. Food was great. Enjoyed outstanding fresh lobster dishes. Gnocchi w/ pesto was delicious. Nice wine list. Will be back.
Always an amazing experience. My go-to place for years in the North End.
Amazing food, pasta and seafood superb! We wanted another bottle of wine but the waiter never checked on us- oh well, saved some $, their loss!
Overall everything was great. There was a price difference of about $10 for some items on the menu vs what was listed on their own website. Plus some items like the baby octopus did not exist and were substituted with octopus tentacle instead. Made me feel baited on an enjoyable night.
Service and Food is outstanding!
Second time eating here and loved it. Oysters and dinner were great. Will definitely be back
This place was great, not on the main drag in the north end but just a few blocks over. We were seated at the exact time of our reservation, no wait, service was great, they are on it. Food is amazing. We will go back.
What a great place in the North End. So glad we found it! Small but authentic, staff is attentive and loyal, food is wonderful. Seems to specialize in Italian and Seafood, take your pick! Would go here again and again!
Food was amazing, service was great! Nervous from some other reviews but our party of 7 had a fantastic time
Some of the best italian food I've had in my life!
Clearly overbooked on a Saturday. Had to sit at the bar as our table was not ready.
As could be expected, the North End is packed on a Saturday night. We arrived at Rabia to find a long line of people waiting; fortunately, we had a reservation, so we didn't have to wait long for our table. The place is small, and the tables are jammed in pretty tightly; don't think you could fit any more tables. The result is that we were essentially dining elbow-to-elbow with a very nice couple (who appeared to be on a first date).
The food was good, but not exceptional. The wine was good, and not too expensive (that's a rarity in Boston).
so overall, nothing terribly bad, but not very good either. Kind of 'meh...
Awesome experience. Thanks
Amazing Service - absolutely delicious food - what more can I say. Had never eaten here before and came on a recommendation of a friend - so glad we did. Very busy but service was amazing.
Will be back
Excellent all around
I picked Rabia's because of the picture on Open Table and the reviews. We were on time for our reservation and were seated promptly. The service was a bit slow initially but not tot he point of being "where did our waiter go?" slow.
We split a Caprese salad. The portion was just right.
We both ordered our mains off the special menu. My wife had the red Apple Ravioli. I had the seafood medley off of the special menu. Both were prepared well and delicious.
Including the 4 glasses of house wine our total bill about $80 not including the tip.
I recommend for you to try Rabia's and we will be back again.
Fabulous place for a relaxed meal -- and a good value -- in the North End.
Every time I go the meal is better than the last. I was with two visitors from Zurich, Switzerland and two from Hartford. They made a special trip to Boston for dinner, so I chose Rabia's because I knew they would love it. They did.
My friends and I really enjoyed our meal. They loved the oysters and the main dishes were excellent as well. They were visiting from San Diego and several times said, "Wow, this is really great - I'm so glad you chose this place". So kudos to Rabias and thanks for impressing my friends!
We walked in with no reservation and were seated promptly. Very timely service and good food.
