The food was fantastic. The rest of the experience left much to be desired. The men who seemed to be the owners were walking around the indoor and outdoor dining areas without masks on. The hostess also did not wear a mask. Two customers were also yelling across the dining room to talk with each other, clearly interrupting other tables’ meals, all while the staff seemed to encourage this behavior. And one last thing, when did this become a “sugar bar”? Weird way to ruin a classic Italian spot in the North End. Will not be returning to this location.
Went for dinner and it was delicious. We got the seat right by the window and the window was open it was perfect. Service was great. We certainly will go back.
We had a delightful dinner and wonderful birthday celebration at the restaurant! Food was delicious and service was great!
This was our first time at Rabia's and it was very good. We will definitely be back!
Food was great! Drinks were outstanding, and the service was fantastic.
Food was great . Service was great . Would love to return soon
This is the 5th time we’ve been here and whenever in Boston we always make the time to go. It’s excellent and the food is awesome. Good value for north end too!
Valentine’s Day dinner. Great food and great service
Went there for a girls night. Everything from the food to the service was exceptional!! We had a really fun night!
Seafood was very fresh and well prepared. Loved everything we had here.
The food and service was excellent. 3 people in our party had never been there and could not stop raving over the food.
Great raw bar and seafood pasta. The owner and manager are terrific and engaging.
We thoroughly enjoyed our last meal of 2019. We came to Rabia last year and we were not disappointed. I had the lobster ravioli and warm lobster appetizer both were just excellent. We will make another visit in 2020
Everything was great, as always. The lobster over garlic and oil pasta was divine. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection. My friends loved their meal as well.
The service was excellent! We had the calamari for an app and it was out of this world delish. We all got paninis and they are morblijeva “sub” than what you think a panini is traditional is pressed. My chicken was so tasty. We got to meet the new owner and she was very helpful in direct us to the best pastry shop
In the North End..Bolla! End of Salem St.
Great meal. Lobster dishes were excellent. They went heavy on the lobster. The waiter noticed our bottle of wine had a small chip in the bottle opening when he opened it and replaced it with a fresh bottle immedietely. Really a great place.
Great food and atmosphere. Have been back a few times with no complaints. Butternut squash raviolis very absolutely delicious along with the 4 cheese gnocchi. I really enjoyed the chicken Parmesan and calamari appetizer as well! Great drinks choices - pistachio martini .. soooo yummy! Check it out!
Possibly the best Italian meal I’ve ever had. The antipasto was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly prepared. I will definitely eat here when I’m in Boston.
Had a reservation but didn’t get seated until 1/2 hour later. Not sure reservations mean a lot in The North End Italian restaurants. But food was absolutely delicious- made up for the wait Would definitely go again.
We were seated 25 minutes late for our reservation and a group who did not have a reservation were seated before us.
First time to Boston and the North End.
Fabulous restaurant, excellent food and wonderful service.
Friendly staff serving delicious Italian seafoods. For casual and business conversation.
Great food, great server!
Had a reservation but there was a line of people who had made reservations, took 15-20 minutes after my reservation time. After ordering, waited for 30 minutes for appetizers to come out, followed by another 30-minute wait for the main course. In between, they filled the water maybe 5 times and by this point, we were already full with just drinking water and had been waiting for a total of like an hour for the main course. The main course special pasta was $79 and every bite had sand in it. We were so full that I had it packed up and when I checked it out today, I can literally see sand all over the bottom. Did not properly prepare the seafood. How hard is it to let the shellfish spit out sand by letting it sit in a salty water then washing it. This dinner was extremely disappointing, I'd never go back and would never recommend this place.
Outstanding food and service
50th wedding anniversary for my sister and brother in law
We were happy to get a table at the packed, crowded Rabia. The service was very good, but there is no host stand and it’s unclear where to enter and/or wait. The food was good but not excellent (lobster fradiavolo, antipasto, pasta bolognese, shrimp ravioli), and we were happy to escape.
The food at Rabia’s is excellent. The wait staff is fantastic. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a number of years and always leave extremely happy!!!
One of the best dinners I have enjoyed in the North End. The Fruit de Mare con Pesto was outrageously good. I will definitely order it again. What a find.
They have a great selection of both seafood and Italian. We had the calamari and crab cakes for appetizers, and they were delicious. I couldn't decide between the honey glazed butternut squash ravioli and the Vermont red apple with gorgonzola ravioli, and our server offered to split the order so we could try both. I still don't know which is my favorite-both of them were fantastic! Wonderful service. We have eaten at Rabias twice now and would absolutely go again.
Great service, friendly but not intrusive.
It had a nice Mediterranean ambience, the service was a little slow, the food was well above average and the prices were for tourists who don’t know better. We took the bait from our concierge and online reviews. However, it was a nice meal. Not sure I would go back with so many other 5 star restaurants in the area. The lunch spot I hit earlier that day was much better.
The service was terrible in that they forgot to put in our appetizer order and they only realized after we asked a 1/2 hr. later. At the very least they should have offered something off the final bill. But the food was excellent...especially any of the seafood dishes. The prices are a more reasonable than most North end spots. Hopefully the problem with the service was a one-time occurrence. I will go back and give it one more try.
Everything was great except steam lobster was cold . Butternut squash raviolis were amazing
I’ve been going to Rabia’s has for about five years. It’s always been excellent but my latest was it was a great disappointment. The restaurant was only about half full and yet the service was terrible. Our server rarely checked on us and it took about an hour to get our food after placing our order. The diners around us who had a different server received their food and ate and Left Before we received our food. We had a new wire multiple times about our order.
