Food was good, but it took about 30 min before we got any service, and they forgot one of the dishes I ordered.
Really enjoyed the sushi, great variety.
The place was extremely loud. I will not be going back.
The food is creative and aesthetic. I’m very particular about Japanese food and I have had some of the best. I would say this is a good choice overall.
The service and staff are exceptionally warm and attentive. It was a good experience.
Went for happy hour thinking I wouldn't spend much. Ended up spending $55 for 3 sushi rolls pineapple wontons And 3 corona. Not cool at all
The food was very good but our waitress was not. I think she was having a bad night because it showed. She didn't smile or say hello, she slammed our water glasses on the table, brought my boyfriend a beer then later asked if he wanted a glass. She didn't come around that often to see if we needed anything. There is more.
Excellent service. Walked in and they sat us down immediately. Our server was wonderful. Very patient with my date, ready to answer all questions, since it was their first time enjoying sushi, the staff, the food and atmosphere completely made her first experience wonderful! Thank you.
They didn't have our table ready and instead offered us the bar. Amateur hour.
It would have been nice to be informed that all streets and ways to your venue, was closed. It was a nightmare to reach!
We thoroughly enjoyed RA. Sushi, Dynamite and appetizers were all delicious. Service was excellent and waiter was super friendly and attentive.
Excellent food! The sushi was fresh and the Japanese Mule was delicious.
Not my favorite place. Of course we were in a college town, but this place was so loud I couldn't even think. It was a birthday dinner for my friend. When I made the reservations I specifically told them and also requested a table. Did not get a table. Waitress was horrible. Food was ok . Kind of pricey even for a happy hour price.
There are other RA locations that are not as noisy and the service is better. Not sure I will be going back to this place.
Service was great. The mule pitcher was good. The crispy tuna was amazing. But the udon noodles w chicken was ok. It was way too spicy. And mostly bell peppers. Chicken didn't seem fresh either. And could have used more noodles
The one on mill is very college heavy so it was quite loud w a younger crowd. But overall ok.
Didn't try the sushi this time
Great food and Service
Friendly service, sushi was good, prices reasonable at happy hour. We were seated near bathroom with somewhat bad odor. A bit dark inside. I'll go back due to convenient location, but try outside next time
Our server was friendly and on top of everything start to finish. The food was tasty and fresh, and the bill didn't sting
- Waiter was attentive and was actually good
- Food was so, so
- Hostess not very friendly, then actually speed walked to the table outside where there was an outdoor bar with smoking but not mentioned by the hostess when giving option for outside or sushi bar
- off duty employee or manager sitting at bar where employees kept coming outside to chat, complain about other employees and where about 30 F Bombay are dropped all within earshot of the customer tables
- one waitress came out numerous times to chat and touched her hair so many times I thought for sure she'd visibly wash her hands so the customers could see that she wouldn't go back in to serve food but then she brought out a tray of sushi to a bar patron a few minutes later
Been to multiple RA locations and this was by far the worst. Sitting outside is basically like sitting in the employees break room. Awful experience and management should be embarrassed.
Perfect as always . Service was great, food was great.
When we have access to good sushi we have to go for it! Had been to several other Ra sites. Rolls are always good, consistent and service is always good too. No disappointments here. Was glad we made early reservations as Mill Street on St Patrick's Day even early was busy. Enjoyed dinner , but ate without dawdling and left!
They are trying, and to be fair, its a college town with college kids, but food, service and ambiance were all sub par
I have been taking my students to RA for the field trip for many years, but this would be the last time. The worst pert was the service. The server (Allie) was not friendly, was busy picking up dishes (as if she is waiting for us to leave quickly), but not filling our water or drinks. The food was horrible... old salad was even warm. Iced green tea was warm, no flavor...almost like warm water... no color.
Solid choice for sushi in Tempe. The happy hour is a pretty good bargain ($3 hot sake and more), especially on Sunday's when it is from 3-Close.
Delicious!! Always very good!
This place is DIRTY and it smells, it's just gross and that is not a good sign for sushi, raw fish in filth not ok! The service was horrid also! I will NEVER go back! If you read this review don't go!
The sauce for the beef was entirely too salty! Specialty drinks are excellent, though. Overall good evening.
The food was great and our server was nice. The only thing I did not like, was that I had a group of 7-10 people and they wouldn't seat us right away unless we had 70% of our party at time of reservation. The rest of our party showed up later. But we had to wait around for 15 minutes to be seated for that reason. They finally sat us down. However, I think if 50% of your party shows up, you should be seated right away. Parking and walking is not easy on Mill Avenue.
New Year's Eve dinner
The food was OK. We tried the Thai chicken to start and was undercooked. However, the sushi was decent. We didn't care too much for the "signature" dish, RAckin Roll. Very messy and too much for chop sticks.
Excellent all around! Great food and service. Definitely a return visit place for dinner!
First time in town and was open for the holiday. The food was good and the prices are as well. Good value for the money.
