The fish was top notch fresh, as usual, love the hamachi with ponzu but the service'didn't match. Lots of servers running around but right past us. The manager was commendable and did dohis best to put things right

Good not as good as it used to be honestly. Las Vegas rolls were bland, the RA shrimp tacos we always loved were burnt Our server was great-he was attentive and super nice. Not bad enough to complain about nor send back but nowhere near how it used to be sadly.

Normally find the service and food to be pretty good here, but our recent visit must have been a busy night or short staffed. We waited on a number of our items, one item was "out," and some of the rolls we ordered seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. Hopefully just a one-off experience.

Shame on me, I was expecting a sushi restaurant that had a bar. More precisely, I would say this is a bar that serves average sushi. That's my bad for making a poor choice. However, my disappointment doesn't only include my poor choice. My party ordered a chicken dish that came 30min after our sushi order arrived. It might have been helpful if our server could have given us a heads up, but that came at the 25min mark and truthfully, I should have sent it back. The chicken was way over cooked and inedible.

Took my baby on a date and it was a great experience. Food is pwa (chefs kiss). The waitress even took a pic of us and framed it to take home. We can’t stop talking about RA. Definitely recommend

This was our first time here. Nice upscale place. Service was excellent, the food good and plentiful. Our sashimi entree came in a big ice bowl with sizable slices of tuna, salmon, yellow tail , octopus, shrimp and white fish. It came with miso soup and a small salad. The spicy shrimp soup was very flavorful. We’ll come back.

My friend’s birthday dinner reservation got messed up so we had to think quickly as we already were all starving after a day full of activities prior. RA had a table for ready for us right as we walked in. They were great and accommodating for our little rowdy crowd. The server Maddie was the best rolling with all the orders of spring rolls! We even got a printed picture for our friends birthday! Very pleased!

I was not aware that RA had a happy hour. We found the food to be excellent and the service was great. The happy hour was just what we were looking for as far as variety. I ordered Sashimi and Shu Mai with a nice roll. I can't wait to go back. We do love Japanese food. Here we find exactly what we like.

Waited over an hour for our order. Waitress told us kitchen lost the ticket, and then manager told us it was taking over an hr for sushi orders. I understand mistakes happen, but didn’t feel they were being honest. Our waitress avoided us until our food came out. Would have been nice to make sure our drinks were filled and dirty plates were removed.

Server Maddy was excellent. Food was very good generally.. The Hamachi with Jalapenos was great. There was a shrimp item on the menu that was not good. The breading on the shrimp was very hard and over done. Other than that, all great.

This was a mixed experience. The food, as always was very good. The issue started when we were seated. The hostess said happy hour was on until midnight. We assumed the extended hours were because of Mother’s Day. When the check arrived we were charged regular menu pricing. I told our server what we had been told about happy hour pricing & he told us there wasn’t happy hour because of Mother’s Day. The exact opposite of what the hostess told us. I paid our bill but our server didn’t return my credit card with the invoice. I mentioned this to the server. When he did bring the credit card back he apologized but blamed someone else for not returning it the first time.

I was asked if i wanted a booth or a high top, I said booth and was then escorted to a low top table without any explanation. Our server had zero hospitality and wasn't able to suggest things to us after telling us they didn't have the things we wanted.

No one addressed us when we came in the door for 10 minutes, even though we had a reservation and arrived on time. Lots of open tables in the restaurant but they still needed to “wipe down a table “ outside for us as we had reserved. We were seated outside, the weather was great, but there was constant noise from cars driving by and several airplanes flying overhead. Food was decent.

Waiting for about 15 before the server even acknowledged we were there, had to go to the front desk and ask if we had a server. She was closing out a table with multi checks, busy I know but at least acknowledge and say “hello or I’ll be right with you” . That’s what irritated me. Food is always good

Having fresh sushi at Ra on Scottsdale Rd south of Shea Blvd is a favorite Saturday night destination for my husband and myself. The trained likable staff are welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. The sushi chefs are talents and on task to serving g fresh tasty sushi without long waits.
