RA Sushi Bar Restaurant - Plano Ratings and Reviews
Went for my birthday on New Years Eve- our waitress Alysa was awesome- super attentive, but not to the point of smothering... Sunday’s- happy hour last all day, and everything that we had was delicious. They also give you a dessert for free on your birthday, which was amazing... I highly recommend this location and especially our waitress- she was excellent!!!
Dinner was good however I noted on the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and included the name of the person in our party who was being honored. The restaurant did not acknowledge this very important note. Management needs to review all reservations that have a note or special occasion. For this reason I would not recommen for a celebration
Great tasting food, moderate prices. We ordered fried calamari for starters and it was the best that I've had in a long time. We then ordered Teriaki chicken, California rolls and Viva las Vegas rolls. The chicken was really good, the side vegetables not so much and they have no fried rice, just white. The Cali roll was as good as it gets, and their specialty Viva Las Vegas roll was really good and highly recommended. Their roll selection is vast (much more than what you can see online for some reason), prices were good. They do need to rethink something about the ambiance - either the light was too dim for the volume of the music, or the music was too loud for the low light, but they didn't go well together.
Sushi was delicious and the service was fantastic! Went for Sunday evening happy hour and the drinks were great. I recommend the Gushing Geisha.
Parking is very easy...garage is behind the restaurant with the walkway right next to the restaurant. Seating is very comfortable with the option of low seating or high seating. The atmopshere is fun and loud...but you can still carry on a conversation.
Will be going back
I would not recommend this restaurant. Especially if you have food allergies. The staff, including the manager gave us mixed information, and ruined our Mother's Day experience! We ended up leaving after the appetizers, which they charged us for, even though they were in error.
This is my first visit and my date's 2nd visit. We are both impressed by the $5.99 per order of Seared Tuna during happy hour. The rest of the food were ok. A little bit expensive for the quality but still good. The waiter were not that attentive. We may come back.
