The food was excellent but the service not so much. The hostess was not so friendly and the waiter took forever for everything.
Wanted to take my nephew out for sushi… the salad was dry and the lettuce was wilted. The spicy tuna was gross, the tables were sticky. The plates were still wet. And we waiting for about an hour for the 1 roll we ordered to not arrive. At which point we just decided to leave.
Compared to the Chino location this place is horrible, it’s dirty and the service is bad and the employees are walking around with their personal phones FaceTime-ing their friends
Went memorial weekend to try the patriotic punch drink but there machine wasn’t working. This was the second time we have gone to this location and it wasn’t working. The rolls also seemed to be smaller almost bit sizes. Not sure what happened over this past year but there rolls seem to be smaller now.
We were sitting there for 30 minutes with no service. People were getting seated and getting served and we were still with no service. I had to ask the hostess who's our waiter.
The food could be better. The ramen was off. The server was great and very attentive to our needs. The toilet was filthy.
Started off well, but the food took waaaaaay too long to arrive. Our poor server offered to bring us some miso soup and she also gave us a $10 gift card for waiting. She gets an A+! The kitchen seemed to be extremely under-staffed for Mother's Day, or they had a hard time prioritizing orders (take-out/delivery/dine-in). Maybe we'll try again on a normal weekend.
Service was way too slow on Mother’s Day. Waited too long to get seated, order appetizers, get the main entrees, get to-go boxes, and the check. Had a reservation at 11:30 and got out of the restaurant at 2. No joke!!
Made reservations for 6:15pm. Was not seated until 6:45pm. I requested a table when making the reservation. We were seated at a bar top next to the entrance. The bar top was dirty and wobbly as well were the bar stools.
We ordered 4 appetizers and lots of sushi. Not a single dish was taken from our table to make room for the upcoming orders. There was two instances when the server came up and handed me a new dish of sushi because there was no room on the table. So I had to clear a place and set it down. When we asked for more soy sauce (they serve it in packets not a bottle) the server came back and placed the packets on our ginger and wasabi, instead of on the freakin table.
I ended up clearing the trash and dishes from my table and stacking the plates nice and neat so the server could eventually pick them up. She never did. I understand that things happen and some people are just having a night but it was the accumulation of poor service from the host and server to the food and ambiance that drove me to leave this review. I will not be returning. $160 for 2 ppl and we didn’t even get desert.
Btw we still left a tip because I realize it is spread out throughout the service staff and some of them there were actually doing a good job.
Service was painfully slow. I wouldn’t typically complain but the sushi was not fresh. It was so bad we didn’t finish it.
Host was courteous and pleasant. Server was very on top of things and made great recommendations. Food was out fast and fresh. Delicious!
So I made a reservation just in case they were busy and I arrived about 30 mins early. The hostess said they were unable to seat us early since they had other people waiting to be seated. There were about 3 high top tables available and that is what we had requested plus there were no other people waiting to be seated. The service was terrible. Our initial drink order was taken right away. The rest of the evening was horrible. It took 35 min for our waiter to come back to take our order. Then refill on the drinks didn’t come for another 25 minutes. At that time I asked if we can order so we did and it took about 35-40 min for food to arrive one by one and my plate never came and additional 24 min my date went by and
My date talked to the manager and they never put my order in... this was my 2nd not so great experience at an RA restaurant with service being terrible... I will never be back to any location...
The Host was a bit weird. I was 5 minutes late to my reservation and I believe she was upset about it. She sat us at a table with only 1 chair for a party of 2 and walked away. I had to go out of my way to ask for chair. Bad experience so far but once I was given a chair from an employee the night turned around. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. I would rate the service 3/5 due to the host. My overall experience would be 4.5/5.
Appetizers took 35 minutes, main course took 45 minutes with almost cold Ramen.... and dessert 35 minutes.... food was great! Just took sooo loonngggg!

Because of the reopening, wait staff was a bit slower than normal. The wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. They still were friendly and kind. It was just busy and I think people are adjusting to reopen. Always overall a good experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the appetizers, rolls and entrees were great! Our punch bowl frozen Margarita didn’t taste so great though. I’ll definitely be back. This company is a subsidiary of Benihana and their hibachi entrees taste just like it, you just don’t get the Benihana experience and no birthday photos. So if Benihana is too crowded, give them a shot...you won’t regret it

Service was okay. Waitress was kind of rude. She may have been overwhelmed which is understandable. It was very cold. They did have heaters but they were not effective. Either way, we got what we expected.
Celebrating a birthday dinner in a mutually convenient location from Lake Arrowhead, Beaumont, Fallbrook and Carlsbad. Although we indicated a birthday celebration, no mention was made of the birthday. Food was tasty included hibachi, tempura and sushi. However definitely on the expensive side. Wait staff would deliver food as it was available and checked on us frequently. the kitchen was backed up with to go orders and it took a long time for some of our dishes. The music was blaring and we could not hear each other. The cons outweighed the pros and none of us will be back.
Food was delicious but nothing came out at the same time. Half the table was done eating before 2 others food came out. Also, it was very cold. Sitting outside is necessary of course but provide heaters or something. So cold, wasn’t enjoyable!

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience on valentines night. Our server was so kind and extremely helpful. We loved our food so much that we even ordered more of it go! Just amazing service and food. Great job guys!!
Went for Valentines expecting heaters since we have to sit outside. Nope! Only 4 tables with heaters, the rest out in the cold. Completely miserable and a waste of a nice night out!
If you're going to have outdoor seating in the cold, make sure you have enough heaters for ALL of your customers!
This was the worst experience. Yes it was Valentine’s Day please have enough staff on hand. And if you have a reservation you should not have to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated and we didn’t have the table we were supposed to.. then it was windy so it was freezing, yes we are in a pandemic but if you have to have outside seating your guests should feel comfortable.. there were no outside heaters and it was so cold that not just us but we saw other guests having to go to get blankets.. the food took way to long to get then it was cold when we did get it. By this time I just asked to get containers and bring it home. We’ve gone to the chino hills location and never had this issue.. for some reason the corona location is always under staffed when we’ve gone with poor customer service, and this was pre pandemic. It’s unlikely that we will return to this location. So very disappointed and made my Valentine’s Day one I’d rather forget.
Never got seated after waiting over 1/2 hour. Arrived on time and was basically ignored. Asked, and got a lame excuse. Never seated in spite of several available tables. Gave up and got food elsewhere. Not likely to return again in spit of eating there often in the past.
The food was not as great at all the service was perfect but the food was not good. If I was able to ask for a refund I would.
