Get's better every time I dine here. Had a good server, good cocktail, great food and met a wonderfully sweet manager.
This is one of the nicest Sushi restaurants I’ve been to. Seating was fast. Server was polite and offered great food recommendations. We will definitely be going back soon!!
RA is the place to come for outstanding Asian dishes/sushi, drinks, and service. Definitely my “go to” spot when I’m in the mood for Asian cuisine/sushi. I will be back! Thanks RA!!!
I have dined at RA multiple times and usually have the best dining experience this particular time,to my surprise I had the worst experience , our server was not attentive,he placed our drink and food orders came back with 2 out of the 3 drinks and one was the wrong drink. We waited over 15 minutes to get anyone's attention to make note of the wrong drink. Our food came out 35 minutes later and only 2 out of 3 of us got our food. By the time my coworkers got her food she already ate from my plate and had to wrap her food to go . I was embarrassed being that it was both my coworkers 1st experience at RA and i dragged about how great the food, service, and atmosphere was. They didn't have a good experience.
From the moment of entry, we already felt unwelcome. Unfortunately once we were seated for dinner, the waitress made us feel incredibly rushed to the point where she had asked if we wanted to order dessert as our final entree arrived. We were interested in the tempura gelato, but said we were still thinking. As we were eating our entrees, the check was brought to our table. All of this within 20 minutes...
RA is one of mine favorite places I never have a problem. I love it there
Very lively atmosphere. Good food. I enjoyed going with a large group and ordering multiple dishes to share.
It’s very loud here
Great sushi! Went here on Sunday after church. The place was not too crowded so we did not wait too long for our food. The menu has many options so there is surely something that you would like. Price is not too bad, an affordable sushi place in the city!
This is probably the loudest sushi restaurant I’ve ever been in, but the service and food were exceptional! I’m used to a relatively mellow, relaxing atmosphere when I go out for sushi. The Happy Hour specials were great, and the sake selection was also nice! Great food, awesome service and it was a fun time. Will definitely drop in again next time we’re in Baltimore.
I absolutely love this place & the vibe. Perfect for everyday dining & special occasions.
Birthday celebration for both my son and daughter in law.
The food at RA is always good, but I think the experience is lacking - especially for the price point. The bathrooms were disgusting - water and trash everything. Completely gross. It's quite loud in there, and the tables are squeezed together, making it a semi-uncomfortable dining experience. Our waiter was very nice, but service was just okay.
Cool place, GREAT food
Great time at RA sushi. I have been several times. This time the manager had to move our seats because we were accidentally seated in a location where someone had reserved it . she offered to comp a round of drinks for the table which was nice and thoughtful. We stayed there for about 2.5 hours and we weren’t rushed. I was meeting a friend I haven’t seen in about 4 years so we spent lots of time laughing at catching up. We made a reservation and we were seated right away.
I've been here before and enjoyed it - they have a good happy hour menu and the food is great. The service was definitely lacking - they seated us 15 minutes after my reservation, then no one came to take care of us (or even bring water) until more than 20 minutes after we finally sat down. After that, our waiter was slow but good and tried to make up for it, but would probably not go back.
Every year my mother, my sister and I have Valentines dinner. This year we brought my niece along and it was a wonderful experience. Loves it!!!
The food was delicious and the service was great even through the busy evening. Definitely worth the hour drive from Virginia. My girlfriend enjoyed the food and loved the romantic red light scenery.
Usually a great date spot but we ended up at the bar for Valentines Day. We were told that Open Table overbooked the restaurant.
We went for Valentine’s Day and regardless of the amount of customers the food was amazing and the service was too . I always love coming here . We did have a slight wait due to an incident with my food but it was minimal and the dinner was amazing .
Definitely the best Sushi in the area. The drinks are very good, and the service was great as well.
Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Our server was very attentive and everything came out quickly. Not only was every bite amazing but every dish was beautifully prepared
Overall it was just a very good experience
Great service and food. Can’t wait to go back again. Love going here!
Love the dynamite scallop roll!!
Had a reservation but still had to wait and then they sat us in the bar area. Service wasn’t the greatest.
A little loud, but it was a Friday night. Food was great! The late night happy hour was a great deal and service was average-good.
The food was excellent and the service was excellent. However it is very very loud. This is not a good place to go on a date, but is a great place to go with a group of friends.
We had our two year anniversary and it couldn't have been a better experience! Our waitress (Shaniqua) was the best. She provided excellent service and surprised us with dessert for our anniversary. We go to Ra every year for it and we've never been disappointed!
Rolls are great, just make sure you don't have a crying child near your table.
Great food. It's been a few years since I've been to Ra. I remember their happy hour specials being much better. Other that, it was enjoyable.
Excellent food! Noise level was a bit loud but worth it
My boyfriend and I decided at the last minute to go out for sushi on New Year's Eve. Ra was busy, but not slammed. Service was efficient, but not overwhelming, and as soon as we looked like we were about to ask for something, the bartender arrived. Ra has a HUGE happy hour menu (served late night, too -- we were there at 1030!), and was an incredible value. I would definitely recommend stopping by!
Waitress was a little overmatched. She was slow.
It took 8 min. before our waiter Jeremiah, came to our table. We ordered a Sangria and a beer. We also made our appetizer order of Chili Yellowtail and RA Chips & Salsa. The food came before the drinks.
Again it took a long period of time before he came to get our main course. I took the opportunity to ask where the drinks were. Lo and behold, the drinks came within 2 mins. Our orders came but the soup did not. After a period of time I asked another waiter to get Jeremiah for me. I told him to cancel the soup and get another beer. After a time I asked another waiter to get the beer for me.
Our waiter never came to check on us, although I could see he was talking to the other tables he worked on.
I wanted to order Mochi for dessert but with our experience we decided to leave.
The food was good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. From the hostess who welcomed us with a smirk to the waiter. We are used to eating at high end restaurants that we were taken aback at how we were treated here. I know this is not high end but still.
Will not recommend this place to my clients and friends.
The sushi chefs used way too much rice on the nigiri (at least twice as much). They even placed the amaebi upside down! They kept bringing out the nigiri on order of 2 pieces at a time rather than bringing it all at once. Service was extremely slow even though the place was nowhere near full. When we ordered beer, server didn’t even bring glasses, just the bottles! We told the server about making the nigiri with too much rice, and he said he would say something, but it just kept coming with too much rice! Then to add insult to injury, the manager came over to tell us that one of the items we ordered was no longer available. When I told her about the rice, she tried to make excuses, saying they were very busy, but the place wasn’t very full, and what does making something wrong have to do with making something wrong?! She took the edamame off the bill (oh boy!) and we paid $100 for a subpar meal and had to take off half the rice off each piece of nigiri. Oh, and had to turn the amaebi on the right side! Huge disappointment!
Foods great. Clever, well presented. Drinks, service, not so much.
Service was not great.
Our waitress was great! We had an amazing time.
Love this place
