Red Cedar Carrot Cake
Pulled pork, feta, pickled onions, mixed greens, diced tomato, and tzatziki wrapped in naan bread
On my reservation, I asked for table seating. Our guest arrived 1st, seated in a booth. They immediately moved us on request. The host seated the people ahead of us at the door then disappeared. I flagged down a server, who seated us herself. The food: olive spread excellent. Brisket excellent. Fries good. Cole slaw poor. Our guest ordered the chicken quesadillas; didn’t care for the sauces but our server brought acceptable options right away. Pretzels okay, but dips not good. Ordered to go, so found at-home options. Pretzel dips across the street at Tavern 109 much better. On my reservation, specified birthday; no acknowledgment. When I mentioned it, a candle 🕯 on the very good carrot cake we ordered. 2d time served by Will: EXCELLENT! Came by often, but didn’t hover; gave honest answers to questions re menu. A woman who was maybe the manager was very helpful in bringing containers & bags for leftovers, which were necessary because the portions are so generous.
Overall, not as outstanding as our 1st visit, but still top-notch. We’ll definitely return.
This is our second visit to Zyndas . We made a reservation but didn’t need it today . The food was great . Onion rings , Michigan salad & simple corned beef sandwich . All were fantastic . The service was awesome , I wish there were more than 5 stars for our server . There were awesome little shops in town . We will be back .
Fantastic! Looking forward to going back.
They were out of many menu items. The first 3 choices were were not available and we could only get one half of a glass of cider.
To their credit, management did comp us dessert.
This meal was not typical of our prior visits to the restaurant.
Met with family, one person 92 years old, for holiday lunch and it was a great spot for that. Not too crowded but with a pleasant atmosphere. Good food and service!
We had been hearing such good reviews of Zynda’s, just had to try. So pleased with excellent service & very good food. The portions were huge - anything could easily have been shared by two. Looking forward to going back.
They had an apple glazed pork chop special that was amazing as well as the brisket!!
Beautiful setting, great food
Great food and festive atmosphere! Would definitely return!
Everything was great until the restaurant got busy and then it seemed like we were forgotten. For our first visit, we enjoyed the food.
Peter was a very nice server but I think was a little overwhelmed. We never got our second order of drinks and when we reminded him he said the bartender was swamped so we canceled the order. He closed out our bill without offering dessert; but we definitely wanted the carrot cake so he went back and added that on. I would go there again but hope my service is a little more on point.
Second visit-poor food the first time- decided to try it again. Ribs were very dry and near impossible to cut- fries tasted old. Tacos which server assured us were not spicy were unacceptable to person who cannot tolerate spicy food. We won’t be coming back
We were gathered to celebrate our son’s birthday. The waiter was attentive and efficient. The food was disappointing. I think the goal was volume over taste. The pork barbecue was tasteless. It came with a mountain of fries and a tiny coleslaw. Neither were well prepared. This was our second time visiting. The first was pretty much the same experience. Because it had just opened, we thought all the bugs would be worked out.
Service was excellent, space among diners was not a concern, and the food was delicious.
The food was good, but we were disappointed that the staff was not wearing masks.
Food and service was amazing. Temperature was a bit too cool.
Waiting 40 minutes after ordering, only to find out that our server walked out, I am disappointed that our drinks were comped but that was it. Too late to order and make it to the play on time, we just ordered soup and left.
Definitely not the evening out we had hoped for.
The decor is only OK, but this place has great brisket and the fries are excellent! If you're looking for quiet, sit on the west end of the building; the pub (on the opposite end) is a bit loud, especially when there's live music. But kudos for offering live music! A nice addition to Williamston. I would definitely return.
Great food- pork chop special was awesome. Service spot on and friendly. Plan to go back.
Waitress was outstanding in her service and attendance. Food was very tasty and flavorful.
Great night with family. Food was great, wait staff very friendly and helpful. Even had a food allergy and they made sure everything was taken care of. We will be back!
Everyone was very happy with their meal. Great attention to detail.
Very calm and quiet when we were there but we went mid afternoon.
Lots of other choices I would like to try.
In a word, sloppy. Slow service despite lack of patrons. Lazy shortcuts taken with bbq to save money. Charging top dollar for shabby food. Will not return.
The service was great. The brisket was great. Great atmosphere!!
My Pulled Pork sandwich was awesome
However my lunch mate said his reuben sandwich was greasy
Service was excellent ! Ask for Susan ! Friendly & knowledgeable about the menu!
Fabulous drinks and more amazing food. Pleasantly surprising menu items with eclectic flavors. Loved the deviled eggz!
The great aroma hit you as soon as you walk in. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The food was wonderful! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere in this remolded building. Large selection of smoked meats, sandwiches and appetizers. Services was good, food was good. We’ll definitely come back.
Always a great meal and great people at Zyndas. Felt like the noise level was better this time. Kitchen was short staffed but still pumping out quality food
We were there for the first time. I really like the configuration of the restaurant. I had Apple Smoked Pork and it was great, especially with the Sweet and Savory BBQ sauce. For sides, I had the Augratin Potatoes which was very good, and the Cole Slaw, with was good. They have a nice variety on their menu. I wish their beer menu was more extensive though. The service was outstanding. I recommend you try Zynda's, if you haven't already. Make sure to make a reservation through Open Table.
We enjoyed our meal. The service was good. Although I know this is primarily a BBQ restaurant I was hoping to find a few "fish" choices on the menu.
It was our first time. We really enjoyed it. Food was great as well as service. Can't wait to go back.
We had an outside table, it was ideal for needs.
The noise level is higher than we like, but we realize there is not much the restaurant can do to control the noise level. While we enjoy the food, we feel the prices are little high, but not to the extent to stop dining here.
Great food! Still working out the noise level but I’m sure they’ll figure it out. Busy night and the servers were working hard but we still got good service!
Ribs were perfect! Not fatty and so tasty! Pulled pork gyro was wonderful as well! Suze was a fantastic waitress and could not have been nicer. We will definitely be back!
My husband enjoyed his meal of the applewood smoked pork. I ordered a rack of ribs to have leftovers to take home. I had to chew and chew to eat my pork and could hardly get the meat off the bone. The sweet and savory sauce was good and the French fries were excellent. We sat in the back room where the noise level was high. Only three tables were full but you could hear every word spoken. Would go back again and give it another try. Would like to have it succeed.
Very good, a bit pricey, but nice for an evening out once in awhile. Will return.
Our evening at Zynda's was thoroughly enjoyable! The renovation of the building and space is modern and cozy at the same time with a variety of seating available, including outdoors. The menu leans on smoked and BBQ meats, but also includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, soups, etc. The 4 people in our party had 4 different entrees and all received a 'thumbs up'! We'll be going back!
