Delicious food at a great value. Huge ramen vegetable soup enough for 2. Will def return
I enjoyed the Kimchi ramen very much. I would avoid the wine list and stick with beer and sake!
This is an amazing spot. Very unique and fresh food offerings with warm ambiance and excellent service.
Great ramen! One of my favorite hidden gems in NYC
Our service was subpar at best - it took 10 minutes just to get menus. They seemed understaffed which might have been the problem. We got cocktails (moscow mule + grave digger) and both were standard. We got several different sushi rolls which were delicious, but came out very far apart which was odd. We also had the zutto pork buns which were fine, but not as good as they usually are. I've been several times before, and think this may have been an off night (it was a saturday at 9pm)
I read about the buns and tried them. Wow they were good. Ramen was very good as well. It was a Monday night and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Very pleasant. Food is wonderful.
There was a kid birthday going on. On a Friday night. Disastrous. Will not go back.
I wanted to try this restaurant after reading very strong reviews. Big disappointment from the first step. I should have turned around when I saw the “B” rating on the front window. The food was mediocre. The dumplings were heavy and the spicy ramen dish lacked punch. I enjoyed the tempora shrimp.
The restroom was quite dirty as was the floor and the walls leading to the kitchen and storage rooms.
When my wife pointed out a hair in her dish the manager tried to suggest it was not hair. He was polite, but one should not argue with your diners . Our Waters’s was nice. It was a lousy experience overall.
Enjoyed the ramen. Worth trying when in New York.
Service was bad. Food was cold! Which is bad because it’s all hot soup...
Delicious veggie ramen!! We really enjoyed our dinner there.
Food is not good. Ramen noodles were not cooked and kind of raw. Worst sashimi in Manhattan. Service is fine.
Muy bueno todo
Randomly picked a Zutto for a team lunch (10 ppl) and was pleasantly surprised! Very good food quality and many interesting options. Service was attentive and friendly. Venue's got cozy, a bit rustic feel to it, which my team liked. Prices reasonable. We've had sushi rolls, ramen, various appetizers and sliders. Everything was tasty. We didn't drink but there were a ton of sake's and beers on the menu. Maybe next time!
The restaurant manager was amazing and personally served us. I wanted to like this restaurant so badly but the booth seating we were in was extremely dirty and dingy. The food was over priced and decent at best.
Delicious food and good service. On the expensive side, though.
Very friendly service and quality sashimi makes this a great spot.
Great ramen!!! The best I've had in NYC. I'm allergic to seafood and was fine at this restaurant.
Great food, great ambiance ! Service was a bit slow and inattentive.
The quality of the food was OKAY, not what I expected. The service was alright and the drinks wasn't strong. Wasn't a bad experience just wasn't the best.
We had to beg to place the order because the waiter would never stop at our table.
We order a paella that shouldn't even be called paella. The rice was burnt and the seafood wasn't prepared with it. They were just grilled separately and then tossed over the rice.
The sangria has almost no fruit and it tasted like industrialized orange juice.
big menu. very good ramen and sushi. sort of a pub atmosphere- but that's the name. not as high end as typical sushi place- but surprisingly close
Zutto with a large group is okay, but not sure I'd do it again. Very expensive.
Good food & drinks, great price point, good service. Very cool & comfy place to meet friends.
We stumbled onto this place and it was a home run. We will definitely go back!
I have recently "re-found" Zutto and I couldn't be more pleased. The happy hour special before 7pm is excellent. Highly recommend the buns--particularly the portobello ones--and the buffalo cauliflower!
Great Ramen and soba. Reasonably priced. Nice Tribeca neighborhood gem.
Zutto is one of our staples in TriBeCa, the food is always great and we are never disappointed. Love that it is a casual neighborhood joint. You can go after work or for a casual date night out. From the buns, to the ramen & sushi. You can't get a bad meal here!!
Amazing ramen in a cute space. Fun relaxed atmosphere but the food is what makes this place.
Some creative fusion dishes at this place, and decent sushi. Questionable ramen. Not a great value but tasty. VERY unfriendly service.
I went during lunch time. I felt there was not much flavoring with the broth for the ramen, it was bland.
It was very very busy during lunch time. Having reservations during lunch is highly recommended.
Zutto is my favorite local spot. Great sushi, great Ramen, great service and all at a reasonable price.
Check in on Yelp for free beer.
Wanted a casual place to meet up with a friend and enjoy good sushi....Zutto was perfect. Tables are nice size and not on top of each other, service was friendly and efficient, and the sushi was very good. It nice to have sushi in a pub like feel instead of some of the sterile Sushi restaurants in the city. It's a comfortable place and perfect to catch up with friends.
We will definitely be back.
I hadn't been to Zutto in close to 15 years. When my friend suggested it, I figured why not. I was pleasantly surprised by the varied menu--sushi and pub food paired surprisingly nicely. My only qualm was my simple spicy scallop roll cost $11. It was good, but not THAT good. However, will still definitely return for the buffalo cauliflower ($6 happy hour special!) and portobello buns!
Zutto is in our neighborhood and we have been meaning to go for years--and we finally did. As often happens in Asian restaurants to us, we over ordered. Still, the food was very good and we would return. Each of us began with an order of rolls, followed, again for each of us, by a ramen.
We took half of the ramen home and it provided another meal (with our own additions) ; the ramen was almost as good as in the restaurant (meaning, it held up well and reheated without compromising the taste). More and more Asian restaurants are coming to Tribeca; Zutto holds its own with the others.
Overall would not go back. The Ramen was good but they had a lunch special menu that was not available when we went for lunch. Felt food was over priced for what it was but at least it tasted good.
The space is really cozy (not code for tiny). We had a big table/booth in the back and it was spacious. We were greeted by the server really promptly and served water as soon as we sat down. The food was really really good (we had shishito peppers, a beautiful eggplant app, sushi, sashimi and ramen).
I thinks the prices are reasonable and it's a very pleasant night out.
It got a little noisy towards the end, but not unmanageable.
