   Had the tasting menu and upgraded to the Wagyu. Simply wonderful with the chef preparing the sushi like an artist at the bar.

   The lovely unseasonably warm end-of-Easter-holiday evening made dinner outside in the courtyard very pleasant. Oysters with chili ponzu and salmon roe were small but beautifully presented. The special tuna sashimi was again small but delicious. Rolls here, like veggie crunch are, by contrast, quite large. Unlike many other Japanese restaurants it is impossible to order your own sushi by the piece. I ordered a 6 piece nigiri combo but not every piece was a winner. I’d love to just drop in a grab a seat at the counter and order sushi by the piece with a glass of wine on a weeknight but the menu limits that option. A smaller wagyu option like they used to serve would be welcome as well as the only cut available was 450 grams which is too much for one, especially when dining with a vegetarian.

   Great service from once we arrived! Team so polite and the young lady that was looking after us was great and was always near by for any questions. Honestly my favorite location and a my go to place for friends / family get together. Thank you Team Zushi - Surry Hills

   A great place in Surry Hills for a casual Japanese dinner! We sat outside this time, was impressed with this area and would recommend if the weather is suitable. Attentive & courteous staff.
