   We were seated outdoors , undercover, on a windy, rainy night. Despite this we were warm enough. Unfortunately the rain blew sideways under the awning and soaked everything on the ground. Staff offered to move us, but damage had been done. We had the set banquet menu for $88, and added the japanese donuts with ice cream. The food was above average but not exceptional 4/5. The sashimi was not the best fish cuts, the teriyaki duck was overcooked, and along with the toothfish (for an extra $11 pp), both lacked bite. The prawns were the sole highlight for me. The doughnuts were okay. Overall, drinks were reasonable. Staff were attentive and friendly. We all had a great night. Don't go expecting an exceptional culinary experience and you should still have a great night out. Overall value 4/5

   The food and drinks were great. The service ruined the experience for my group of 5. I have been to Zushi several times before, and never have had the experience I had on friday night. A few of the members of our group arrived at different times, and we were constantly asked if we were ready to order without the rest of our group. We were approached so many times about ordering, then when we received our food we were asked even more if we were finished. The attitude of the staff members were annoyed that we weren't immediately ready to order as soon as we sat down and that we didn't immediately eat all of the food. It wasn't that busy and the staff seemed to be looking for things to do, but it was just overbearing. It made us feel as if we were a burden to them and that we were doing something wrong. I ended up asking one of the staff members if they needed us out by a certain time, as we felt like we were being rushed. The lady advised us they needed the table by 8:30pm, and we told her we were going to be gone by then anyway, but that we have felt very rushed this entire time. For some members of my group it was their first time to Zushi and they are not inclined to go back. Since I know that this isn't a regular occurrence, and the food is so good, I will visit again. I just hope that this feedback is passed along to the team, so other people don't have to feel the same way that we did.

   We are so sorry Gabbi about the service. I have done some investigating further and we did have a senior waiter that had a junior waiter shadowing her section for training. By sounds of it they were both covering your table without communication with each other so apologies if you felt there was too much service to your table. This was not our intention nor our usual standard of service. We apologise sincerely again and hope we see you back again in the future!

   Food and location and service were good. Serving sizes were small and they missed a dish that we had ordered. Nice space and good for groups.

   We had a really lovely experience at zushi, the staff were really prepared with a coeliac friendly menu, gluten free soy sauce and wait staff that knew exactly what could and couldn’t be made gluten free. We will be back again.

   staff are lovely, food was pretty expensive but very high quality. Perfect place for a date in my opinion amazing aesthetic.
