The best in the gables
the food is very good. the ambient(visual) is nothing great and it is a little to expensive
The restaurant is not what I expected food wise. I ordered the linguine and clams and was swimming in butter. My wife ordered the special of the day and was fish with veggies. It was good. However, it is not worth $54.00.
The service was average, and the tip was already included. This lead to mediocre service.
It does not live up top the reviews I have read.
If you want to spend $200+ per couple, they are far better restaurants
My second time at Zucca and it never disappoints !! the food is superb, the service is impeccable !!
As usual great place, great food, great wine
We absolutely loved our first visit to Zucca. They have a lovely ambiance and great service; especially Cristina. We truly found all the appetizers to be tasty, beautifully presented and plentiful...Grilled Octopus, Filet Mignon Carpaccio and Risotto Balls were all outstanding. For dessert we enjoyed The Best Tiramisu we've ever had. Overall the experience was one to remember. We are excited to share this charming hidden treasure with our friends in the coming weeks.
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, best Happy Hour, Spice menu was good but not spectacular
The Chef Special veal was excellent.
The food was amazing. We went for their Miami Spice menu and were not disappointed. Our appetizers were phenomenal. I had the duck tartelle pasta, and it was large enough to take home half for the next day. The tiramisu was so good!
SERVICE WAS AMAZING BUT FOOD WAS BAD... I WAS SO EXITED BUT UNFORTUNATE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL
Zucca is definitely one of the best options in Coral Gable for both work or casual meetings!
Arrogant and inefficient waiters. Food is just OK.
My first time there. Will go back. Will also recommend it to friends and co-workers.
Great food and service. Very pretty restaurant in the heart of the Gables.
Went to Zucca on a date night and was very impressed! The food and service were excellent, and the decor was beautiful. We will definitely be going back!
Outstanding Italian fare on a beautiful corner of downtown Coral Gables. We loved the food and the friendly service, and the night we went, the tunes were dope, too. The only downside was the surprise on the bill that a simple negroni cost $23. I was recommended the Monkey 47, which happened to be one of my favorite gins at the moment, but I've never paid that much for a basic aperitivo. I was told it was because of the Monkey 47 but that is not how much that gin should cost. Perhaps it's highly taxed when imported to the U.S., who knows. I would still recommend the restaurant, just be careful not to overpay for drinks here.
Went to try miami spice and it was soooo worth it. Food was amazing and so was the service. Will be back for sure.
Best Italian in the area
Great wine list also
Wonderful spot to have great Italian food. The staff is exceptional. The chef is creative with his dishes. Authentic Italian food. The cheese selection is really good. Try some cheese and sliced meats before dinner. The specials are always good and large portions. We highly recommend this place.
Great food and service
Best restaurant in Coral Gables
ZUCCA is the Best Miami Spice 2018 dinner menu so far!!!
It was a delicious meal. Even though they didn’t acknowledge our anniversary as noted on the reservation, we had a lovely dinner. We will come back.
Lindo ambiente, comida rica
I had the pumpkin soup which wa delicious, the snapper, also very good, and the tart, which was good. I was here once before and had the tart then as well, and it was amazing as the crust had chocolate in it. Great service. Will definitely be back
Place in nice; however, very mediocre food at very high prices. Wine bottles were marked up about 4.5 times their retail value... that's outrageous!. Ordered the lamb chops, 2 super tiny lamb chops came in a very mediocre ragu-style tomato sauce priced at $49. Nothing special
Excellent Food and service. The front desk person graciously changed our table which was small and not located to our liking.
A very nice experience. Service outstanding. Food delicious. Will return
Had a reservation and waited over an hour and a half for the table.
Nice, quiet, great service and nice friendly staff , food was excellent
Came during Miami Spice month and the menu options during Miami Spice were really good. For the price of Miami Spice dinner menu ($39 for appetizer, dinner, and dessert) you couldnt beat it. The menu had a steak on it that was really good and a good size. Definitely worth the bargain because I don't know if I would have came without the Miami Spice deal. However, knowing now that the food is excellent I would come back again for a high-end date. The ambiance felt nice and cool, and the service was excellent. Good wine selection, and the server kept refilling our glasses without asking to (we bought a bottle). Overall, great experience, great food.
Great ambiance and Sevice.
We have been to Zucca on more than three or four occasions and we enjoyed each time the food was excellent and the service is very good however the price of drinks is exorbitant with a martini running at $17 and not a large one at that
That said, the pasta dishes are quite creative and wonderful and that has been the focus of most of our meals we will come back but probably have a cocktail in the hotel room before to coming down to dine
I have been to Zucca a few times for dinner and it has always been fantastic.
Nice experience - it touched all of the bases.
We asked in advance to be seated in a quiet table because it was a client’s birthday and a special occasion to introduce his partner to me. This didn’t happen. Also, i would expect a little birthday cake and candles. Nothing happened. It was embarrassing.
We ordered a bottle of wine and it changed us $190.00 for it. Quite a ripoff.
Table was ready when we arrived, but it was set for three, so they asked if we needed the third spot, although I had reserved for two only. Waiter explained the specials and was polite and pleasant. We ordered from the Miami Spice menu. The food was very good and the sauces were just right; not too strong but not too weak in flavor. Pasta was freshly made. Overall a good experience. The place is kind of small and we were seated on the way to the restrooms, so people would walk by and almost bump into our table. One negative is that they add an 18% tip to the bill automatically, something that I prefer to do myself depending on the service provided. That usually makes you feel as if you are in a tourist trap, so I would recommend to the owner to allow guests to add the tip of their choice.
Everything was great. Even though our server was very good, he and the bus boys tended to hover over the table very closely to the point that it was uncomfortable. We were there early on a Tuesday and it wasn’t crowed, so I don’t think turnover was an issue.
Great experience. Food was awesome. Pleasantly impressed
Excelent everything was very good the excellent service the amazing food and the very cozy place
The food was sub par at best. Not good at all. Risotto was like sparkle. Pasta way past al dente and cold. Another bad attempt at Italian food in Miami. Way over priced
