Fantastic meal and service!
The food was great however, you can have the best meal and service not be at the same level and it ruins the experience. I had chosen Zucca over another Italian place for a bday occasion and regretted it. Branzino—- AmaZing! But if you want service especially for a special occasion —- this is not the spot. They could care less if there is a bday. It is a pity as the food is great. However, I will not be rushing back. There is an Italian spot close by just as good with better service !!
Nice place and ambiance. But despite reservation we had to wait aprox 20 min to be sitted. And while we were told to sit at the bar to wait, when there the bar attendant said that my son could not sit there and hd to stand next to us (but not sit) ????. Quite rude
One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to outside of Italy! Loved it
Amazing restaurant, we will definitely be going back.
The restaurant was gorgeous and the service was very attentive. The music was a bit loud until the room was filled. Wonderful food, beautifully presented. My only criticism was that the entree, a pounded veal chop with arugula salad, was not what I expected. I have ordered this in other restaurants and it is a favorite. It is usually grilled, like veal paillard. This one was breaded and fried, like Wiener Schnitzel. This turned a beautiful veal chop into a diner quality veal cutlet. My mistake for not reading the preparation more carefully. But it was disappointing compared to the rest of the meal.
The food was spectacular, except for the dessert. Our server was kind enough not to charge for it after our comments. The service was good; however, our server was attentive but overbearing at times and quite loud, not corresponding with the elegance of both the food and the ambiance. Even though it was quite expensive, the quality of the food made it totally worth it.
First stop when in Miami. The quality of the products and the service make this restaurant one of the tops Italians in Miami. Highly recommended. Enjoy
Very nice place. We enjoyed the whole experience.
Great food service. One of the best restaurants in South Florida
Simone continues to impress as the best Italian food chef in Miami. His take on “lechón” was just outstanding. The pastas and risottos are just the best in Miami and his classic ossobuco Milanese is a must have.
Great meal, ambiance and service. On list with my favorites.
Incredible experience. Food and service were both excellent. Highly recommended
Contemporary and warm ambiance, exquisite food and great Happy Hour. Consistently delicious.
The food is very tasty and service great , the only issue was the main dish portion for the lunch special it was super small .please improve your size portions.
Food was just good. Overpriced. Waiter was loud. The place is very pretty
Delicious! Authentic itailian. Great service and charm.
The food was delicious, but the restaurant was very loud. It was hard to hear the waitress and each other. I also had to ask for parmesan cheese for my risotto and pasta. It should have been offered without asking.
Food fantastic. Fresh fish and pasta
The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and served exactly as ordered (i.e., doneness of meat and fish). Fortunately, we were seated in the smaller dining area, far from the bustle of the main restaurant, so the noise level was minimal. (That's not usually the case.) My dinner guests live about an hour away from Zucca and generally don't drive this far to eat, but they loved their meals so much that they said they plan to return soon and bring other friends.
Beautiful spot, but too expensive for the quality of the food. The Cacio e Pepe pasta was bland and the pasta with funghi was just bad. Very good octopus appetizer.
The drink was excellent and the appetizer good but food was not what expected and price is high for quality.
The best in the gables
the food is very good. the ambient(visual) is nothing great and it is a little to expensive
The restaurant is not what I expected food wise. I ordered the linguine and clams and was swimming in butter. My wife ordered the special of the day and was fish with veggies. It was good. However, it is not worth $54.00.
The service was average, and the tip was already included. This lead to mediocre service.
It does not live up top the reviews I have read.
If you want to spend $200+ per couple, they are far better restaurants
My second time at Zucca and it never disappoints !! the food is superb, the service is impeccable !!
As usual great place, great food, great wine
We absolutely loved our first visit to Zucca. They have a lovely ambiance and great service; especially Cristina. We truly found all the appetizers to be tasty, beautifully presented and plentiful...Grilled Octopus, Filet Mignon Carpaccio and Risotto Balls were all outstanding. For dessert we enjoyed The Best Tiramisu we've ever had. Overall the experience was one to remember. We are excited to share this charming hidden treasure with our friends in the coming weeks.
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, best Happy Hour, Spice menu was good but not spectacular
The Chef Special veal was excellent.
The food was amazing. We went for their Miami Spice menu and were not disappointed. Our appetizers were phenomenal. I had the duck tartelle pasta, and it was large enough to take home half for the next day. The tiramisu was so good!
SERVICE WAS AMAZING BUT FOOD WAS BAD... I WAS SO EXITED BUT UNFORTUNATE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL
Zucca is definitely one of the best options in Coral Gable for both work or casual meetings!
Arrogant and inefficient waiters. Food is just OK.
My first time there. Will go back. Will also recommend it to friends and co-workers.
Great food and service. Very pretty restaurant in the heart of the Gables.
Went to Zucca on a date night and was very impressed! The food and service were excellent, and the decor was beautiful. We will definitely be going back!
Outstanding Italian fare on a beautiful corner of downtown Coral Gables. We loved the food and the friendly service, and the night we went, the tunes were dope, too. The only downside was the surprise on the bill that a simple negroni cost $23. I was recommended the Monkey 47, which happened to be one of my favorite gins at the moment, but I've never paid that much for a basic aperitivo. I was told it was because of the Monkey 47 but that is not how much that gin should cost. Perhaps it's highly taxed when imported to the U.S., who knows. I would still recommend the restaurant, just be careful not to overpay for drinks here.
Went to try miami spice and it was soooo worth it. Food was amazing and so was the service. Will be back for sure.
