Zouk in Manchester brings you an express lunch with the tiffin. The dishes change every day for a Indian experience for lunch. It is available Monday to Friday 12pm to 4pm. We also have a tiffin grill option available. For a delicious lunch in the heart of Manchester book for Zouk Indian tiffin.

I visited Zouk many years ago and didn't have a great experience so I wanted to give it another shot and unfortunately was again disappointed... Service was outstanding, staff are really helpful and accommodating and I can definitely say the bar staff are brilliant too as we had cocktails and a shot and they were excellent... the food however was a different story... To start we ordered the lamb chops - £11.99 for 3 and honestly they were chewy, cold and not juicy at all. I have had way better at cheaper establishments on Wilmslow road if I'm honest! I actually had to get my husband to cut my lamb chops for me at one point as they were so hard! We also ordered chicken 65 and this was not at all what chicken 65 should be! (On a side note, my husband is from India and that's why we ordered this as he's not been able to find one that has the correct taste and texture!) This was more like chilli chicken instead and had so much vinegar that the fumes made me cough! Also it was way too spicy! For mains I ordered the special karahi and the chicken and lamb in this were again tough and overcooked, the mushrooms were hard to find and there were 2 very small halves of a baby potato!! Everything else in the bowl was just an oily mush! My husband had a side of the Bhindi - he said this tasted ok, better than the karahi dish at least. We also ordered rumali roti and this was also not correct, it was more like a very large chapatti and not the texture of what rumali roti should be!! We had that much leftover that we were asked if we were going to take it away but sadly we didn't see the point. After spending £98.80 we were massively disappointed and can't say we will be returning. I really wish it was better but it seems very much style over substance for me. Massive commendations go to the serving staff however as they were brilliant.

We visited Zouk Tea Bar & Grill as a party of three, including two vegetarians, and had a fantastic experience. The menu offered a refreshing twist on traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisine, which was a real treat. I hadn’t had Lamb Nihari in a long time and was craving something rich and authentic—it did not disappoint. The meat was tender, the spices perfectly balanced, and the flavour brought back great memories. The vegetarians in our group were also impressed with the variety of options available and loved how thoughtfully the dishes were put together. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, and the service was friendly throughout. Zouk definitely offers something special for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy quality South Asian food with a modern edge!

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered a Sunday platter for 2 for my husband and dad and me and my mum were going to share a biriyani. We were told that the biryani couldn't been ordered between two people and that we had to have two separate meals. We ended up with loads of left over food which was such a shame. The food didn't come together and we were left waiting for sides for 10/15 minutes. Some of the sides came and were cold so had to be sent back and were still cold when they came back. After we finished the food we realised that there should have been lamb on the Sunday platter after seeing it come out on other platters for other tables. As we asked for the bill, my dad asked one of the managers who was lovely and so apologetic and confirmed there should have been lamb, he said he was going to get some lamb for us to take away which we didn't want, it was just one of them things but he insisted. The owner then came over really aggressively and questioned what happened and asked why we'd been given lamb to take away and my dad explained. He was disgusting! The manager had sorted everything so there was so need for him to get involved. So so rude and patronising. Kept saying it was impossible for that to have happened. My dad only asked the question. We said we weren't asking for any money off or for it to be rectified as we didn't notice at the time and he was getting really aggressive. I told him to calm his tone because the way he was speaking down to my dad was mortifying. He kept contradicting himself and what he was arguing wasn't making any sense. Kept calling me mate which was just rude. Honestly the food is average at most and not worth the price, but after meeting the owner l honestly hope nobody goes again, he doesn't deserve the business. Disgusting and disrespectful. The staff all look petrified and now I can see why.

Booked an outdoor table. When we arrived, we were seated inside despite an outdoor table booking but we didn’t mind. After sitting down for a short period, we wanted to move to our original booking on an outdoor table and inside the restaurant was way too hot and the aircon wasn’t on. When we asked the waiter, he pointed us to the outdoor seating and said guys there will look after us. When we got to the outdoor area we booked, we were asked for IDs. As two non-drinking adults, we didn’t have them on us so we were refused from sitting in the area we booked. Absolutely no where does it say that the outdoor area is age restricted and IDs will be required, nor does it say anything about this on the website. We decided to leave as we felt the service and communication was very poor. If you are going to implement something like that, maybe give people a heads up.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your recent experience. We apologise for the confusion around your booking and the lack of clear communication regarding our outdoor area, which is a licensed shisha lounge and therefore age-restricted. We understand how frustrating this must have been, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention — we’re already reviewing how we communicate this information to avoid similar issues in the future. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again and provide a much better experience.

The food was better than expected, I think it was something you wouldn’t really think about bottomless brunch would have. Very surprising is an understatement. I lowered my score just because of the service. The wait staff was ok, I’m sure at parts they were trying to avoid eye contact due to this being a bottomless brunch where in the past I’ve experience the staff being happy to refill your drinks which is understandable but I could see the (assume it was the manager) being rude talking about our table. I also lowered the score for the ambience just because of the brunch hour was mixed with families and I wasn’t sure how parties like that can mix with a group like ours who were quite loud due to the alcohol! (Just felt bad that the other diners there would have had to experience that mix). All in all I would still come back but it’s just a shame that the manager felt a bit off and didn’t feel accommodating.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad the brunch menu was a pleasant surprise! We’re sorry the service and atmosphere didn’t meet your expectations. It’s important to us that all guests feel welcome, and we’re concerned by your experience with the staff and manager. We’ll be addressing this with our team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We also understand your concerns about mixing different guest groups during brunch and will review how we manage that balance. We appreciate your honesty and hope to provide a better experience when you return.
