   I never had fried green tomatoes until now and they were delicious! The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. The service was great and we didn't have to wait long. I will definitely be back.

   I had oxtails, it took me back home, southern style. Couldn't stop talking about them. Collards and Mac & Ches- great also.

   I had dinner there the other night with a couple of friends. The place was pretty quiet when we first sat down. The doors and windows were open to the sidewalk and it was a bit warm inside. Our waitress was very friendly and she was the only other staffer besides the female cook in the kitchen. It took a while to get the food because everything is freshly made, down to the corn bread, which didn't look like traditional bread but was really good. The fried green tomatoes were well prepared with a thin coating of batter. I had the fried catfish, which was a big piece of flavourful fish. The red beans were excellent although the mac n'cheese was a little bland. My friend ordered the fried chicken and said that was good. We'll have to come back for cobbler.

   Experience was pretty good. Drinks were great, food was decent and the music was good. Overall enjoyed this cozy restaurant.

   Amazing, authentic Southern food. A real gem of place to eat. Staff was lovely and sweet. Really liked this place.

   A short train ride from Lexington & 48th Avenue E to soul food in the city. We arrived a little early and our table was ready. This quaint spot offered great hospitality, shareable portions and a nice music vibe for dining. What a great find with liberal Open Table cancellation policies that you won't want to use. Relax, unwind and dine at your leisure. We look forward to going back hungry!

   The fried chicken was horrible. The other food devils eggs fish was very good sides very good fried chicken was burnt.
