The food was delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, but it was a little loud with the music turned up. Our waitress was a champ even after she was burned by the hot water from my tea.😳

Second time to Zooroona and it did not disappoint again! Great flavors and portions. The service was very good. Try the app sampler plate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were a big table but our server was the best and she was so friendly! The food and drinks were SO good. A good pick for visiting Kalamazoo

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. No long wait, friendly service. Persian twist to familiar Mediterranean cuisine. Everything was good. The portions are on the larger side and can be easily shared.

The spicy beef with figs was outstanding. The "lamb" in the lamb shanks was on the mature side, but it was stilll very good. The syrah from Lebanon was quite nice and can hold its own with California and Australia.

It took over an hour and a half to get our food. Apparently they were more important people in front of us. We had had the reservation for about three weeks and were feeling pretty neglected after the whole affair. On top of that, our server, if she left us sitting for close to a quarter hour after leaving to get our bill. I finally stood up and walked to the cash register and waited for our bill to arrive. The Response was that she forgot about us, sorry! The lamb was mushy and overcooked, the steak was impossibly undercooked, and the salmon was actually pretty good. The flavors were bland. The pita was stale. We were there for over two hours. mentioned it to the Owner/manager (while waiting for the bill to arrive) who suggested that next time we should tell our server (we did tell mention the food wasn’t good, but she just smiled) and have the bill reduced. L O L, there are a lot of great restaurants in Kalamazoo. We will not be returning.

This was my first time eating at Zooroona. We had excellent service and delicious food, and our server gave great recommendations for our first time. We came on a Saturday evening, so it was a bit busy. I recommend making a reservation. It did become quite loud, but I still had an enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a quiet evening though, maybe not the right spot for you.

The food is always delicious, I ordered the Lamb shank. It is one of my favorites on the menu! The Service was good, just way slow. I feel they did not have enough staff that evening for service. The chef is very good with allergies though, I have a shellfish allergy and celiac disease. Chef does a great job accommodating my dietary needs. Thank you!
